It was around 3:00 in the morning. That's all Ryan knew. He also knew that he had just had nightmare and realized he really missed the warmth of Brendon by his side.
There was a lot of other stuff Ryan didn't know about.
Feeling scared and alone he tapped on Brendon's door. If only they could have shared rooms, but the beds were far too small. To his surprise, Brendon was awake and answered almost immediately.
"Who's there?" he asked cautiously. "D-Dallon? Is that you? I told you already, I need some time to think, okay?"
Ryan stood there confused. Did he really hear what he thought he did.
"You... You can come in though..." Brendon added.
Ryan barged in.
"RYAN!" Brendon said, all too excitedly. "I- I didn't know it was you."
"What were you saying? What about Dallon?"
"Nothing. Let me sleep please." Brendon said.
Ryan's heart sunk to the floor. That was it. He was just kicked out of Brendon's room. His husband's room. Brendon had just told him to go away.
"Can we at least have a chat?"
Whenever Ryan was having problems at night, be it a nightmare of his milk PTSD, he and Brendon often times had small chats about little things to calm him down and help him back to sleep.
"Not tonight." Brendon said before rolling over in bed, turning his back to Ryan.
And that was all. Ryan turned and exited the room, shutting the door quietly behind him. Something must have gone wrong today. All day today Brendon had ignored him. After Ryan lashed out at Dallon- whom he could not stand- Brendon was acting so distant. He said absolutely nothing to Ryan all day today.
Actually no, scratch that. Brendon might have spoke to him during their party. But only a few words.
Not that it as actually conversation though. This whole trip wasn't how Ryan ad envisioned it. It was their honeymoon for God's sake! They should be the opposite of distant! And let's not forget how awful Dallon is too. He obviously has a childish crush on Brendon and Brendon is under some stupid spell when Dallon is nearby. And what was Brendon saying about Dallon? Why was he expecting Dallon at his bedroom door at 3:00?
Ryan cried himself to sleep. So did Joe. But that's a story for another time.

The next morning
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"YOU GET SOME WAFFLES! YOU GET SOME WAFFLES! YOU GET SOME WAFFLES! YOU ALL GET SOME WAFFLES!" Billie Joe yelled.
"Shhh! Shhh!" Mikey laughed as Billie Joe piled ingredients and waffles onto the counter. "You're going to wake everybody up!
"Well it's waffle time, is it not?" Billie Joe said, smiled.
Three minutes ago it had just been Mikey, Gerard, Andy, and Ray downstairs. They had been sitting around in the living room wondering if Billie Joe would come through with his promise to provide them with a full waffle breakfast. He had promised he would do so and at around 9:15 he came hurrying through the door, slightly sweating, with a full tray of waffles and toppings. He even brought a small side bowl of Dr. Pepper for Dallon to dip his waffles in. He claims it improves the taste. He was wearing jeans and a T-Shirt- more casual apparel than they were used to seeing him in.
"Enjoy your food! I gotta go!"
"Why the hurry?" Ray asked. "Don't you wanna stick around and eat with us?"
"I love you guys and I'd totally hang around all day but I've got a hot date!" Billie Joe said, beaming and blushing.
"At 9:00 in the morning?" Gerard asked.
"With who?" Mikey asked.
Billie Joe put the last of the toppings down on the table and turned around to face them with a goofy grin on his face.
"Guess." he said
Before anyone could thew out any suggestions he snapped his fingers and was gone.
"Who knew Billie Joe had a secret love life!" Andy said laughing.
"I know! I wonder who it could be."
"Who what could be?" Joe asked, rubbing his eyes, walking downstairs. He was shirtless with Star Wars pajama pants on.
"Look what the cow dragged in!" Mikey called out, laughing.
"Cat, Mikey. Cat." Gerard corrected.
"Cover up, nasty." Andy said, eyeing Joe.
"You know you like it, Andy." Joe said with as wink. Andy pretended to gag.
Mikey looked away. "Billie Joe followed through with his promise to bring us waffles. They're on the table."
Joe turned to look at them. "Oooh yay! Can I get a waffle? Can I please get a waffle?"
"There's all on the counter."
"Should I get wake the others?"
"Well I mean we probably shouldn't because they'll get mad if we wake them up. But let's be logical here. There are several stacks of waffles piled on that table over there just a few feet away from us. We haven't really eaten proper food in days. My mouth is practically watering. The waffles are not going to stay warm for ever. Should we give them thirty extra short minutes of sleep or wake them up so we can dig in?" Andy asked.
"I like the sound of the second option a lot more." Mikey said.
"I agree." Joe said.
"Yeah why is that even a matter of consideration? Obviously wake them up." Ray said.
Joe ran excitedly up the stairs and returned back two minutes later with a group of irritated and bed-headed people. They went around the table and filled their plates with the warm waffles and covered them in toppings. The kitchen was quickly filled with conversation as the late sleepers adjusted to the morning. Everyone was enjoying themselves and the mood was content. And nobody even commented on the full Batman costume Brendon showed up to breakfast in. (He says it helps him sleep.)
Eventually everybody got all their food and settled down at the long dining table in the kitchen. Since there weren't enough chairs for everyone, a few band members had to resort to dragging bar stools over the the table. It was cramped but worth it. For once in a long time, it wasn't hectic. Maybe their "vacation cruise getaway" wasn't really over. They were on the beach, enjoying a nice waffle feast and best of all, they were with each other.
Aside from the mentally crushing pressure and no boat, what was the difference between this and a cruise?
"This is so nice." Mikey said, looking around the room and smiling at everyone. "I love how we are all just sitting down together having fun and enjoying a great meal. It's like a good old family breakfast."
"Yeah!" said Ryan.
"You're right, this is awesome!" said Pete.
"Best meal we've had in awhile" said Patrick.
"Lol, family breakfast." said Bob.
Bob?
Hold up... who?
Everyone turned to look. Standing there was the one and only Bob Bryar. He stood behind Mikey's chair and gently massaged his neck, smirking. Mikey's face grew nervous and red. He didn't stop Bob from touching him.
"Having a nice family breakfast, eh? Is that so?"
Nobody said anything. They just watched the disturbing scene go down.
"B-Bob... I-"
"Leave him alone Bob." Frank said sternly with clenched fists, although he was nervous too.
"Why should I listen to you? Huh? Mr. I-really-want-Gerard-Way-to-shove-his-"
"That's enough, Bob!" Frank interrupted, slamming his fork on the table. The take shook and rattled loudly.
Nobody else in the room knew who he was. Aside from the members of My Chemical Romance, everyone else was confused. Dallon muttered something about stranger danger.
"Bob. Please just.. please go away." Mikey pleaded, his head in his hands.
Bob stopped the massage with a hard pinch to Mikey's cheek. His cheek quickly turned red. Mikey bit his lip holding back tears.
"You didn't need to kick me out of the band you guys. I could have made you guys big. You could have been stars. But you kicked me out and now-"
"We didn't kick you out, Bob!" Mikey said, his voice cracking with pain.
Bob began to pace the room. "So I see you're all having a nice family breakfast. Am I right."
"Please Bob, please!" Mikey said some tears running down his cheeks. "Stop." he whispered.
"Well? Am I wrong?"
"Bob Bryar leave my brother alone this instant!" Gerard croaked.
"Ahh if it isn't Gerard Gay." Bob taunted, staring Gerard down from across the room. "How've you been doing, my brother?"
"GAY IS NOT A SYNONYM FOR CRAPPY!" Pete yelled, defending Gerard.
"Gerard, who is this man?" Brendon asked.
"Oh me? I'm an old friend of Ray and Frank and the Way brothers. A great friend."
Mikey cried harder.
Bob returned to is spot behind Mikey's chair. He was loving the way he hurt Mikey.
"You okay there, breakfast boy?" Bob laughed.
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Ryan yelled.
Andy stood up in his seat so fast the chair tipped back, colliding with the wooden floor with a deafening crack. He stomped over to Bob, flexing his muscles as he did so. Pete followed closely behind.
"You are ordered to leave this house immediately. You are an intruder." Andy yelled.
"You will not hurt Mikey anymore! You leave him alone. Get out." Dallon screamed, shaking his fist like a 10 year old.
Bob backed away casually his hands slightly in the air. "I'm not bothering anyone. I'm just here having some fun. I see muscles and giraffe here aren't having any."
"That's it!" Dallon said. "You messed with me, you messed with Andy, Gerard and Frank, and you messed with Mikey." Pete got ready to swing his fist at Bob but lowered it. "That's it." he repeated.
He tipped his head back, drew in a large breath and screamed.
"BIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
After a brief moment of confusing silence, thunder cracked and Billie Joe was standing in the kitchen looking worried and a tad bit annoyed. He was wearing black slacks and a suit and an untied tie. In his hand was a bouquet of red roses. When he realized he was still holding them he turned red and made them disappear.
"What? What is it?" he asked. "Ten minutes before my hot date I get yelled at to come back. What is the matter?"
"Him." Pete said, pointing at Bob.
"Oh hi Bob." Billie Joe said.
"Hi Billie."
"You know him?" Pete asked.
Billie Joe ignored him. "Bob. Have you been behaving yourself?"
Bob looked at his feet, ashamed. "No sir."
"What did I tell you before I sent you here?"
"Sent him here?" Gerard said in shock.
"To be good. And not to bother anyone." Bob muttered.
"And what did you do?" Billie Joe asked, staring Bob down.
"I was bad and bothered everyone."
"Give me one reason I shouldn't be mad at you."
Bob was silent.
"That's what I thought." Billie Joe made some tsk tsk noises before looking back at the group. "Hey guys, sorry about that. I was on a hot date and needed somewhere to drop him off. Bring Me The Horizon was too busy and so was Palaye Royale so I had to settle for you guys."
"What are you getting at?" Joe asked, cautiously.
"I need you to watch Bob." Billie Joe said, running his hand through his wild hair. "For the day."
