In the movie their relationship was already great but the series just make it better.
It clearly shows that even is Eugene can be cooky and a little bit superficial he can love and understand Rapunzel unconditionally
And Rapunzel cares a lot for him too
She motivates him in being a better man and to let go of the past.
Also love their proposal "issue"
Is showed well why they last that long until the victorius proposal cames and melts our hearts .
