I believe is not secret that I love this ship.
It may have an age gap but they really have a good chemistry that could be developed in love in the future.
Also both have gone from similar experiences so they can understand each other well.
Finally,varian had a crush on cass before and she might not return the feelings back them but is possible to guess that maybe she could in the future where Varian is a bit older and have finally achieved some resolution just as Cass when she founds her own destiny.
Cass is someone who needs understanding and be cared about and Varian needs to feel appreciated :)  (by the characters i mean)

I really love this ship so my puntuaction will be 10 out of 10
Maybe a 9 because a personal good bye feel needed in the end but at least with the Cassandrium in her posses we can be sure they are in good terms.;)
