Mariah' POV

I was walking on a nice spring day but sadly I was going to school.Though school was my escape from home,I didn't enjoy school more.I was that girl who never had a boyfriend,that was werid n crazy in everyway,that wasn't like the other kids and those are what most people would see as a weakness but I would see those as a strength.

I finally arrived at school and walked in.The cold air of the air conditioner swept over my body, thankfully I was wearing a sweater.I was walking around the halls when I spotted my group of best friends and started walking towards them.

"Hey guys"I said in a real monotoned voice."Hey" they all said excited and in unison."What you guys talkin bout"I ask to get into the conversation.
"Oh we were talking bout the Spring Fling".The Spring Fling is a dance our school has every year but only for highschoolers and guess who are highschooler......these guys."Oh,are you guys going"I ask."Haven't decide yet still gotta find a date"."Oh wel-" I was cut off by the bell ringing.We all said our goodbyes and went to our classes. Luckily I had all my classes qith my bestfriend Anessa, we have been together since 2nd grade and we love each other to death but we don't act like we do hehe.

"So"Anessa said scooting closer to me which I responded with "What?" raising my eyebrow in confusion

"Who are you gonna go to the dance with"she asked scooting even closer

"Oh uh maybe..... no one"I said smiling as she punched me in the arm and scrunched her face in disappointment

"C'mon, how about a little enemy of yours"she said wriggling her eyebrows as I felt my face heat up.I turned away knowing exactly who Anessa was talking bout,she was talking bout Emir my enemy since 2nd grade and I kinda started liking him in 6th grade and now we are in 11th grade so you can just imagine how hard it was to hide that I like him.

"What PFFFT no, you know I don't like him"I said trying to hide the fact my face was turning pink

"Yeah ok sure,I can see that you are blushing"she said turning my face around to see that I was a light pink.

As she did that she laughed and I got outta her grip and ran into the class room and immediately put my head down on the table.
