Weatrice?Birt?Wirtrice?I dunno.(Update:I believe its called Infinite Eyerolls)This pairing ships Wirt and Beatrice from Over The Garden Wall,a mini series that aired over Cartoon Network (If you haven't seen it,you should totally watch it.It's pretty good.)

A thing I love about this ship is at first Beatrice is sort of a jerk to Wirt,and only stayed with them because she wanted the scissors and she had a promise to keep.But as the series goes along,Wirt and Beatrice grow a better relationship.They still argue and stuff,but they don't hate eachother.And that's great,it's great how they don't just go from"Oh gee,you're a dum dum" to "OMG let's kiss now" in a few days.It's realistic,and I like that.
In the last episode,after talking with the Beast,Wirt takes Greg and goes towards Beatrice.He asks her to come with them.Obviously,they have a connection that'd make him care that much about Beatrice.Wirt then pulls out Adelaide's Scissors,which he had the whole time.He said he hadn't given her them because he was mad at her,but that could be false.Wirt nervously coughed before he said that,maybe out of guilt,maybe out of embarrasement.Perhaps flustered.If he was really angry at her,he could've just given her the scissors so she could leave.Then they have a cute bird face hug.cute.

But as I examined more,I realized they didn't really have much ship fuel.Like yeah,their bickering was cute,but they didn't have those 'moments'.They don't really seem to like eachother romantically,plus Wirt liked Sara at the time.He even told Beatrice that,and she didn't seem to care.And honestly,I feel like Sara or Lorna would be a better match for Wirt.Sara is chill and laid back,and invited Wirt to the graveyard with her friends that one time,and I can see them becoming a couple.And that scene with Lorna and Wirt was adorable,and you can see that they liked eachother.Plus,unlike those two,Beatrice is a bird.Wirt has never seen human Beatrice,so I doubt that he would be that attracted to her.

To sum it up,this ship is adorable,and I love it's art.It has alot of potential,and I think I'd like to see their relationship grow over,oh I don't know,a longer series?Hmmm*wink wink nudge nudge to creators*.But canon wise,it doesn't have alot of oppurtunity.
