OKAY.Are you ready for this?Because I'm ready for all the hate I'm about to get.Or not get.You guys are pretty nice.I'm gonna be a little more defensive in this chapter,so sorry in advance.

This ship contains Dipper Pines and Bill Cipher from the cartoon Gravity Falls.If you watch the show,you'll know that Dipper is 13,and Bill...is a floating dream demon dorito.I'm gonna tell you why Billdip shippers ship Billdip.

Okay,the good parts.Most shippers ship Human Bill with Older Dipper,so it's not extremely bizarre.And when people do ship the characters in original form,it's usually fluff.99.99999 percent of the time.Why we ship it?Well,to describe it best,kismesis.Kismesis is a term in Homestuck which,to put it simply,is where you hate eachother with such passion,that it's romantic.Bill and Dipper fit the...bill...perfectly.They hate eachother alot,so so much.Bill occasionally teases Dipper,which is also shipworthy.And in fluff,the concept of them arguing but loving eachother anyway is adorable (like Infinite Eyerolls).

Okay,let's get to the bad parts.Let's see what the butthurt antishippers say."The age gap!" "Dipper is not a gay!" "DIPCIFICAAAAAAA!"
They are partially right.The age gap is a big no for most people,and truthfully,Dip is straight-but seriously,if we went by that logic,Ereri,Phan,Septiplier,
Destiel,and more wouldn't exist.It is also more likely he would Pacifica,because you know,they did have ONE EPISODE,and the relationship would so work out after he moved away.Even Alex Hirsch doesn't ship Billdip (or is tired of being asked his opinion on it.)Bill has been defeated,so it's even more unlikely that it can be canon.

I've shipped it so hard for so long.I've watched all the amvs,comics,seen pretty much all the fanart,listened to the playlists.I just hate when people get all whiny about it because it's not normal for them.I'm sorry I'm being overly protective here.
