"We ship it" (burningleafshipping)

"Still don't know why you haven't asked her out yet." Gary looked over to Red, who blushed lightly.
"..." Red didn't reply, looking out his room window. He began to question why he even bothered to invite the flirt with a big *ss ego, Gary F*ck*ng Oak, over to his house. Oh wait, they were friends, best friends even, how the h*all did that happen?
"Don't pull that Red. I know you like her!" Gary smirked from his spot on Red's desk, where Red had told him NOT to sit. As much as he was a ladies' man, he could also be a good match maker. Not the best, but good enough.
"Fine, I do. Why do you care?" Red whispered to his "friend". He looked over, only to be met with Gary's smirk. He sighed and looked back out the window.
"Well, Mr. Loner, the dance is Friday, it's Wednesday, and you don't have a date. You have some free time to kill, your best friend is annoying you to h*ll, and your childhood friend, whom lives right across from you, is also your biggest crush. Have I spelt it out for you?" Gary jumped off Red's desk and cracked his shoulder. He would drag Red to Leaf's door if he had to.
"I don't need a date." Red looked over to Gary and sighed. It was going to be a long evening.
"Well, I object. There's a battling competition at the dance, you could impress Leaf! That's it! I'm dragging you to her door right now!" Gary rushed over to Red, grabbed his hood, and began to pull him outside. After some inconvenience with the stairs, a confused glance from Red's mom, and a few bruises on Gary's part, they were finally outside.
"Fine, I'll tell her. But not today. I'll do it tomorrow." Red finally managed to escape from Gary, and looked back at him.
"Because you've already bruised me enough, I'll take you on your word. We're going to the park, I'm bored as h*ll." Gary began to walk down the steet towards the park. Red didn't object, and sighed as he followed the boy.

With the girls:

"Its obvious you like him! Why don't you just tell him? Then your dreams of him asking you out could come true!" Misty, nudged her friend. Leaf blushed in embarrasment.
"I do not! He always ignores me, why would I like him?!" Leaf screamed back at her friend. She instantly covered her mouth when she caught glances from some nearby pedestrians. From her other side on the bench, May spoke.
"But you said in middle school that you would love to marry a strong battler when you got older. You also said that you liked cool and collected guys. And don't say you didn't, its as clear as crystal on my memory.
"Doesn't mean I like him!" Leaf retorted. She sighed and slumped on the bench. They were convinced she did.
"You blush every time you see him!" Misty facepalmed. Her friend had made it obvious that the boy mattered deeply to her, as they were childhood friends.
"F-Fine, I like him. But its not like he likes me back." Leaf covered her face by tipping her hat forwards. She looked away from them, before immediately looking back to them, her blush redder.
"He probably do- Oh! Speak of the devil he's here! Go tell him you like him!" May pushed her friend from the seat. Leaf glared at her before getting up.
"You pay for our lunches every day you don't confess." Misty told her, smirking.
"Fine, but you have to confess to Gary. And May, you're already with Drew, so, you owe me, let's say that." Leaf growled at her friends before walking towards Red. Gary noticed Leaf, and pushed Red towards her. Queitly, he tiptoed to the bushes. Red glared at him, before composing himself.
"H-Hi Red." Leaf's face quickly turned red as she looked up at him. His eyes widened as he placed a hand over her forehead, causing her to blush some more.
"Don't pull an Ash Ketchum on us." Garg whispered as he facepalmed.
"You're not sick, why are you blushing?" Red said in a montone voice. The whole world let out a sigh in relief.
"R-Red, I need to tell you something." Leaf's voice grew quiet as she spoke.
"What is it Leafy?" Red removed his hand and looked down at her. The girls awed at the nickname. Red was the only one allowed to call her Leafy, and he always called her that.
"I like you..." He voice trailed off as she whispered. Red tilted his head, not hearing it. "I said, I like you." Leaf spoke louder, covering her face with her hat.
"..." Red's face grew hot as he heard this. Leaf couldn't see his blush, and a tear welled in her eye.
"I-It's okay if you don't like me back. We can just be friends." Leaf sniffled as she spoke. Red slowly lifted her hat, and leaned towards her.
He closed the gap between them, laying his lips on her's. He pecked her, before whispering in her ear.
"Then I'm assuming you'll go to the dance with me, right?" Her face grew hotter if that was possible, as she nodded. She pecked his cheek before walking back to her friends.
"Guess that means I don't owe you lunch." Leaf spoke softly, before fainting, because we obviously have no idea why that happened! Red sprinted to her, catching her before she hit the bottom. The girls fangirled, and Gary, let's just say his evil laugh was very maniacal, and that he had a new home screen.
