I ran as far as I could. I sprinted past Pokémon center, past the park, past all the people who stuck their heads out to look at me. I even saw Kandi, she tried to stop me, but I just kept running. Far, far away. Every time I thought of that moment I felt my heart drop. Soon I was out of Cyllage city, into the forest around it. I heard foot steps behind me. I jumped to my side to hide behind a thick tree. Then I just started running that way. I was too heartbroken to talk to anyone.
Ash's POV:
I heard a cry from behind a rose bush. I think it was... Serena?! Did she, what will she, how? God, I screwed up big time! I quickly get Pikachu on my shoulder. The whole time he was disgusted. Still does. I feel disgusting for doing that to Sere. I see lightning forming on Pikachu's cheeks. "Pikachu, what are you gonna do?" I ask quietly. Then I see Misty. "Ash! Where are you?" Quickly Pikachu shocks her. I just give him the look. "Really?" Pikachu doesn't seem to care to I run into the forest. After running nonstop, I finally found her.
Serena's POV:
I begin to hear the footsteps get closer and closer. "Sere!" I hear Ash, the last person I wanted to hear. I start sobbing right there. "Just leave alone, okay? What's done is done." I start walking forward, but feel a hand grasping onto my wrist. "Sere." He says quietly. "Just leave me alone!" I cry, trying to break free. "Serena, I don't like Misty! I, I like you!" What?! He l-likes me?! "Its okay Ash. You don't need to lie for my sake!" He let's go of my wrist and steps back. "I'm not lying! I like you a lot! I love you!" I turn around to face him. A single tear glides across his cheek. "Ash, is it true?" I ask, uncertain of what to think. "How many times do I half to tell you?" He takes a step towards me. "Umm, well, I-" I become mute as I feel a soft sensation on my lips. Then I realize. Ash kissed me! I melt into the kiss. When its finally over I hear Ash's voice. "Hey, Sere. Let's never leave each other." I'm shocked. Is this a dream. Pinch me. "Yeah, I promise Ash." We cross our pinkies and fold them over. We seal the deal with a kiss.
