"A black coffee for Dawn?" The worker at Pokeblocks called my name with my order. I furrowed my brow at the cup. The was no whipped cream! I looked up at my server. She looked about a year older then me. Her name tag read 'Crystal'. A Haunter stood beside her.
"I'm awfully sorry, we're out of whipped cream and sugar. I took a dollar off your bill." She said looking down. The Haunter beside her grumbled and nodded beside its trainer.
"I guess that means your out of hot chocolate, ehh?" A girl who looked to be ten stood beside me. A Sylveon had its feeler wrapped around her arm. "Its okay Crystal. I've had fun here on my trip to Sinnoh. We haven't talked since you began to study abroad.
"Kandi, I'm awfully sorry that you can't have any. You came a long way from Kalos." Crystal tells the young girl.
"You're from Kalos?" I ask Crystal.
"Ah, yes. Kandi here is one of my siblings. I have three sisters and a brother, shes the youngest. Kalos is wonderful! Lumiose is booming with tourists, although Anistar or Laverre are quite nice as well." Crystal told me, fixing her apron.
"I have a friend from Kalos!" I told them, excited to meet people from the same region as her.
Kandi looked at me in the eyes. She squinted her eyes. "You're Dawn Berlitz, right? I'm a friend of Serena, she told me about you. Apparently you're going to Kalos for school very soon. Be careful of the thieves in Lumiose."
My eyes widened in surprise. "Why yes! Thank you for the warning! I'll be on my way now!" I took a sip of my coffee. Ad result I squeezed my eyes together and coughed. Without the whipped cream and sugar, my favorite drink was bitter. At least I met Kandi and Crystal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Its finally time to go to Kalos. I'm going to Lumiose high with May and Serena. Serena is probably already at the dorm. Lumiose high is one of the most prestigious high schools in the world, so many parents from all over the world send their kids there. This is my second year of highschool, the first of which I spent at Hearthome High in Sinnoh. I'm a week late, since it wasn't easy preparing for Kalos. I also had to wait for May to take a ship to Sinnoh.
I check my watch. The plane is leaving in ten minutes, why is May not here?
"Sorry I'm late!" I heard a familiar voice. May ran up to me, luggage in hand. "Ran into traffic." She panted as she sat down in the waiting area. Time to wait for the plane!

After we finally got on the plane, I let May take the window seat. I was fine on the edge. I relaxed and began to play on my phone.
"Hello! Would you like to order some refreshments?" A chipper voice asked us. The flight attendant stood in the aisle, patiently waiting.
"Can I have some Oran berry tea and a Leachi scone?" I requested.
"I'll have some Chesto berry soup, some bread, Persim butter, and Lum juice. Thank you!" May replied.
"Okay! I'll be sure to have it out right away! By the way, I'm Jade!" Jadr told as she skipped behind us.
A few minutes later, Jade came back with a tray in her hand. She handed May her food and me my food. Unfortunately, there was some turbulance. As Jade handed me my tea the plane shook, and some of the tea spilled on my lap.
"Oh no! I'm so sorry! I'll be sure to get you some towels!" She told me, making sure I was holding the cup before she left. She returned with wet towels and gave them to me. They helped reduce the burning.
"Its fine, really." I smiled at the poor girl. She really was pushing herself.
"I'll make it up to you. I'll discount your food! Ah! Wait a sec." She rushed to the back and returned with two plushies. She gave May the smaller plush, a Rosalia, and me the bigger plush, a giant Piplup.
"Thank you!" We both sang out.
"No problem! Again, sorry for the inconvenience." She left and allowed us to finish our flight in peace.

It has been two weeks at Lumiose high. Currently, we're all hanging out in the study room in our dorm. Serena, Iris, May, Leaf, Misty and I are all talking.
"Have you guys heard about the Lovers' Daily? Its a shipping magazine published by the school news committee. Its really popular." Sere asked us.
We all said "no".
"Let's just say I found an interesting article." She pulled out a copy of the magazine. She began to read the page.
"Ahem, The Lovers' Daily: Heartthrob Headlines!
This ones about me!" She began to blush, "The schools cutie Serena "Sere" Yvonne and the dense cutie Ash Ketchum!
I can't believe this is actually an official school newspaper!" She wails.
"Wait, these ate only heartthrob ships right?" Leaf asks from beside me.
"Yeah, heartthrob boys." Serena told us.
"Next, the student council president Red Fire, and the top student Leaf Green!"
We all looked at a flustered Leaf.
"Red?!" She looked so helpless.
"Then, swimmer champion Misty Waterflower, and sexy boy Gary Oak!" Misty was ready to pull out her mallet.
"I was paired with that pervert?!" Misty yelled.
"Ditsy cutie Maybelle "May" Maple, and charmer Andrew "Drew" Hayden!"
"He's just a childhood friend!" May retorted.
"Finally, fashion icon Dawn Berlitz" Wait, me? I wonder who I get? "With the cool and collected Paul Allen!"
"Paul?! What's good about him? He's a Pokemon abuser, he's rude, and he's probably a pervert!" I yelled, not pleased.
"Good thing I didn't get a match! I never get a match!" Iris cheered.
"Can you believe that the news committee was allowed to plan their dance. They're gonna make you go with your 'match'" May whined.
I yawned. "Its getting late, good night!" I ran up to my room and got in bed.
"Paul, huh?" I mumbled before falling asleep.
I remember my first year of highschool, Paul was in everyone of my classes. The teachers always paired us. The very first time I met saw I thought he was cute, then I lost interest in him.

"Ugh! The dance is tomorrow! Is still don't have a date!" I walked through the mall, carrying my bags in hand.
Suddenly I crashed into something, or someone. They had a muscular stomache, and a familiar voice.
"Really Troublesome?" It was Paul, he had called me that since last year.
"Sorry Paul." I tried to walk away quickly, but he grabbed my wrist.
"This way. I'm bored." He pulled over towards him.
"So you make cute girls walk with you?" I asked, angry at his pervy actions.
"Troublesome, you'll have fun too." Paul pulled me into a cafe. "A seat for two."
The host looked at us. "You and your girlfriend? Couples eat discounted."
Paul's eyes widened for a second before he nodded. I fought to hide my blush.
The host led us to a table out side, surrounded by roses.
"I guess its a date now." He told me, rolling his eyes.
"Stupid prune head! I didn't agree for a date! And we're not an item!" I fumed at him.
"Yeah sure Troublesome." He said, looking through the menu.
"So..." I racked my brain for a topic. "Did you read the Lovers' Daily?"
"Why would I? I'm not into those things like you, Troublesome. I don't need a girlfriend." He told me, crossing his arms.
"Well the article was about you." U said, trying to catch his interest.
"Eh?" He asked, not sure why.
"Yeah, under Heartthrob Headlines. They paired us." I told him in disgust.
"In your dreams Troublesome." He said coldly, looking away.
We finished our meal and began walking ob the boardwalk in Coumarine. I saw a couple walking hand in hand. This close to him, I hand to admit he was handsome. I began to blush, so I looked down at the wooden path to hide it.
"You're not fooling anyone Berlitz." Paul stared at me. "Unfortunately for the girls who are like you, I'm not interested in a relationship."
"I'm tired of this! Next bring some other girl, or even one of your guy friends! I'm done with! I hate Paul!" I walked ahead of him in hopes of it staying that way. Unfortunately, he caught up to me. I could see that he was shooken from my comment. He looked down with a frown.
"Paul? I thought you didn't care." I looked at him with disgust.
He spoke quietly. "Fine Troublesome, have your date. See if I care." He reached out and grabbed my hand. I could see a faint blush on his cheeks.
We walked like that for a few minutes.
"This is a boring date." Paul noted as I stared at the sunset.
"But look at the sunset. Its romantic. What romantic thing do you want to do?" He shrugged.
"The dance is coming up. I wonder what'll be like."
"Troublesome, close your eyes." He ordered suddenly.
"Why?" I questioned.
"Because I said so." He told me.
"Fine." I closed my eyes.
I felt him rest his hand on my chin as he kissed mt cheek. My cheeks instantly burnt up.
"Paul?!" I jumped in shock. "Why wou-" He covered my mouth with a finger to shush me. My face instantly grew 10 times hotter.
"I'll see you at the dance Troublesome." He walked away, leaving me in shock.
He wasn't that bad. I guess he's a kuudere. He is really cute. The "unshakable" Paul!
