"Don't talk while your mouth is full...please."

He looked at you from across the table with pleading eyes. It was almost as if he was embarrassed.

"Sowwy," you swallow and take a deep breath. "But I really do enjoy f/d!" You beamed at the perfectly plated desert before you. The cute cafe you had chosen for a date with your beloved Shintaro did not suit the mood. You had dressed up for the afternoons outing, you tried your best to dress to impress your boyfriend. However, Shintaro made as much of an effort to choose a regular pair of black track pants with a matching black hoodie.

"So...why did you want to bring us here anyway?" Shintaro finished drinking what was left of his cola spider he had ordered before tipping out the last drips from the can and into the fancy glass, making sure he'd made the most of his money. "I just thought it'd be nice for us to go out on a date..." You mumbled looking down at your near empty plate. Shintaro responded with a sigh as he looked around the busy street side cafe. "You know I don't like these type of places." "You don't like people, not these places. I don't know a place you do like anyway! However, I do like this place and I wanted to come here. Please, just put up with it for me?"

Your disappointed boyfriend sighed again.

"For you."

You smiled, and stood up from your seat, leaving your plate empty. "Thanks." You gripped his hand and lead him to the counter, where he paid for both of your meals. "And now, lets go this way!" And you dragged him to the next destination, but halfway there, he stopped in his tracks.

"Okay, Y/n. You want me to take you to someplace I want to go? Then I'll take you to someplace I want to go." And his grip on your hand tightened when he turned and pulled you down an alley way.

"Okay, now open your eyes." Shintaro removed his hands from your eyes as he stood behind you and he wrapped his arms around your waist pulling you back against him. "Remember this place?"

Your eyes were greeted by the flashing lights and screens of an arcade. That same arcade you played truth or dare with him at. "This is-" you turned your head up to look at his face as you spoke, but he cut you off with a tender kiss.

After breaking the kiss, he muttered something in your ear. "I'm not that cold you know..." "I know..." you smiled as you pressed your lips to his once again and melted into him. Shintaro tasted better than your favourite desert. Deep down inside, you knew he was sweet after all, maybe even sweeter than f/d.

And so the two of you spent the rest of your evening laughing and playing games, placing bets on who would win, and arguing who was better. It was all too fun.
