~Shino POV~

Artemis was sketching something in his notebook while I tapped my finger and hummed to music in my headphones. I glanced over at Artemis. He was still growing out his hair, now it was just below his shoulders, he had it in a small bun. 

"Cut your hair." I remarked while pushing one headphone off my ear. Artemis was unimpressed.

"No. Thank you." Artemis smiled and continued drawing. I chuckled and checked my phone. There's a cool store that I wanted to check out for a while.

"Hey Artemis, have any plans for right now?" I asked with a hint of mischief in my tone.

"Draw, draw, and more drawing. So no." Artemis rolled his lilac eyes in boredom. He's been acting off. Not very peppy or excitable. Is this...puberty??? Well then. If that's the case, it's late first of all, and second it's making Artemis act different and I hate it. 

I checked my phone again, searching the name of the store. It was one of those spiritual places. I just wanted to go there because of all the nice smells and pretty lights and crystals. I probably sound dumb right now, but I love stores like that. This one seems interesting. 

"Let's go somewhere, we haven't been out together in forever!" I smiled and took his hand before he could protest. 

In about five minutes we were out the door. Artemis held my hand sweetly, like his normal self. I smiled and led him to the shop. I smiled through the window at the warm pink-ish glow of the store. We went in and were greeted by a woman. She had on a flower crown and a necklace with about 28 crystals on it. The light bouncing off each other beautifully. The rainbow of crystals danced on her neck as she spoke.

"Welcome to Hibiscus Hierbería! My name is Luna, how can I help you!" The woman now known as Luna, curtsied in her long skirt. Her bell sleeves bounced with her every move, the almost see-through white lace matched well with her light pink skirt. I'm not one for clothes, I leave that to Artemis, but I actually loved her outfit! I smiled at her before speaking.

"Hi! We're just looking around," I glanced at one corner of the store where things were practically calling me with their sparkle. "Thank you!" I rushed of with Artemis to the corner of the store.

There was a light that spun slowly, it played a soft lullaby that restarts after a few minutes. Only one left. I picked it up and held it carefully. It was a bit like the solar system. The base was gold, pink planets gave off a glow as warm as a fire. The planets spun around the "sun" silently. I was in awe. I unplugged it from the display gently and took Artemis' hand to go to another corner. 

We walked around the small shop, smelling incense, touching crystals, we even made candles. We had a bag of stuff by the time we were ready to check out. Luna gave us both a flower bouquet she thought represented our personality. She gave me a bouquet with purple hyacinth, daisies, and asters. Artemis got marigolds, yellow iris, and black pansy. We joked about how our bouquets had the color pallet of the other. I touched the delicate petals of the flowers and smiled. 

We displayed the bouquets in vases, then placed them on the windowsill. Artemis hugged me suddenly. I hugged him back after a moment of confusion.

"That's for getting me out the house today.." 

"I'm glad you had fun! I had a good time too..."

Artemis kissed me gently and we went our separate ways. I decided to cook dinner so Rikku and Artemis wouldn't have to worry about what to eat. Artemis did who knows what.

Sorry if this went in multiple different directions, I wrote this over the course of 3 days. Test prep is starting so now I'm stressed 😩 Stories might be stalled for a bit
