Currently in the process of rewriting an old story. I'm pretty into that now I guess.

I just don't want to die of cringe thinking of things I current have on the internet.

But anyways, I just had an idea.

We all know Shino, 

I'd hope so if your reading this book...

But what if Shino doesn't know Shino?

Ok, hear me out.

I'm not sure if I've said this theory already, listen, I'm loosing myself to delirium from sleep deprivation.

The "accident" happened when Shino was young, we never figured out much other than, Ghostwhisper, Orphan, Allegedly Killed His Parents.

We know nothing more than, he has orange hair, darker skin, and a British accent. And his quirk. He knew Database before going to Monarch, ok. 

Shino never talked about his past. It talked about it vaguely, but never said more than the things I just listed. Either it upsets him to talk about it, he's secretive, 

Or 

He has no clue was truly happened.

When Shino had that one talk with Database, (Completely and utterly unrelated, but I had a thought. Shino and Database's kids call him Dadabase. Just random cute things I wish were true.) Shino sounded like he was just going with whatever Database said so he could leave. He said that it's the same story from years ago: he knows nothing. 

Either that's a cover up, for his own reasons, or he actually knows nothing. 

Since Shino is a good liar, I couldn't tell if that was true or not. His tone seemed very convincing. Maybe a little too convincing. But again, good liar.

But also, this theory ties into something else.

Maybe, what led Shino into gang stuff, hero work, all that, was the desire to create a personality for himself. 

He made a name for himself in the gang business. "Known for taking out gangs" he also went to Monarch to get the hero license. 

If I'm remembering correctly, he had struggled to come up with why he wanted to be a hero. 

If Shino didn't know who he was before the incident with his parents, therefore have no sense of self, he could either be subconsciously (or purposely) trying to create, basically, Shino Basca. 

Maybe we should just believe when he says, "I don't know" 

Or this could just be some kind of superstitious type thing where I'm reading WAY to far into something.

Deep down I think Boat never had a plan for Shino, so there's no "truth" to find. 

It's still fun to make theories though! 

Maybe Boat had everything planned out though? 

Maybe life just came and ruined it.

We'll never know
