Some backstory: This takes place when Shino is 19 and Artemis is 18, so no longer in the dorms :c

~Shino POV~

The rain was knocking the windows harder and harder. The windshield wipers were battling the rain as well, fair fight. Artemis is sleeping in the backseat. I glance at him. He's curled up. That's cute. We've been going on errands all day, it's dark now. We got to our last stop, the supermarket. Artemis jolted awake when the car stopped. 

"Sorry cutie, didn't mean to stop like that." I whispered while parking the car a block away from the store. Not many people are out.

"It's ok, I had to get up now anyways." Artemis rubbed his eye and sat up.

I leaned back and kissed him softly. 

"It started raining harder, maybe we should wait for it to let up a bit?" I offered while taking off my seat belt. 

"Yeah, I don't wanna go out in the rain with no umbrella...Let's just stay here for a bit." Artemis leaned back and looked around as if he's never seen the car before.

"Want something to drink?" I gestured to the car door beside me but Artemis shook his head.

"No, I'm good!" Artemis smiled and checked his phone quickly.

"Hm...Shino..can you...Sit on my lap?" Artemis blushed and looked out the window. 

I blushed as well and had a 5 second panic attack in my head before nodding. Artemis seemed surprised by my answer. I joined him in the back seat and sat on his lap. I rest my arms over his shoulders, pulling myself closer. Artemis kept blushing but still kissed me. This was the closest we've been in a while. 

After that we were just making out for 10 minutes. At first we were both super flustered but then it became kinda...Normal I guess? I forgot about the rain, the supermarket, I even forgot where we are. All that matters is being with Artemis.

~Artemis POV~

Being this close to Shino was really nice. I subconsciously put my arms around him, bringing us even closer to each other. Shino started making soft noises. I'm not sure if he realized he was doing it though. This is getting kind of...

I think we both forgot why we came to the super market since we fell asleep in the car. We were laying uncomfortably in the back seat of the car, Shino was on top of me. I shook him awake and we both were drowsily trying to remember what we wanted form the store. We put together a list after looking at everything in our trunk. Let's hope the perishables are ok...

As we finally left the car, I noticed Shino had a slight limp. It annoyed the hell out of him. 

Why can't I remember anything from last night?!
