Five moons later

Shiningpaw ran with her mentor Aspenfall "rabbit!" Shiningpaw yelled "faster Shiningpaw!" Aspenfall yelled "I'm on it!" Shiningmoon said, then the rabbit was gone and so was Aspenfall "Aspenfall?" Shiningpaw called "Shiningpaw come along" Aspenfall called his apprentice "Aspenfall!" Shiningpaw was almost a warrior but not yet, it was a moon away "run faster!" Aspenfall yelled "Aspenfall what's wrong?" Shiningpaw asked her mentor "dogs" suddenly Aspenfall ran quicker than he has ever ran and a cold breath hit Shingpaw's  neck fur, she whirled around to face a dog three times her size more or less "kill kill!" The dog growled, Shiningpaw saw fury in the dog's gaze.

"I will beat you" Shiningpaw said, the dog growled as more dogs appeared, Shiningpaw heard the thumping of paws but she didn't care if was more dogs or cats she attacked the pack leader with the fury of ThornClan and SunClan combined, she wounded the dog badly but she was wounded as well "I will not bend to your might!" Shiningpaw yelled, she went for the soft belly of the dog and the flanks of the dog, the dog yowled in pain "pain! Pain!" The dog howled "pack! pack! Attack! Attack!" The dog barked but all Shiningpaw could hear was the yowls of pain from both cats and dogs "leave our territory or suffer my might!" Shiningpaw yelled at the heavily wounded dog "death!" The dog barked, his paws pounded against the ground "you asked for it" Shiningpaw said, she jumped up and clawed the dogs face, slashing with all her might and power left in her body "you won't ever see day again!" Shiningpaw yowled digging her claws into the dog's face, the dog collapsed "pack! Pack! Retreat! Retreat!" The leader barked, all dogs stopped as the leader's breathing quickened then stopped "leave this forest and never return!" Shiningpaw hissed, the dogs then ran off.

"Shiningpaw! Are you alright?" Aspenfall asked his apprentice "your a coward!" Shiningpaw hissed, her claws itched to hurt him "Shiningpaw you are going straight to the medicine cat den! Come on, let's report to Patchstar" Frostflower instructed "what about the dead pack leader?" Oatsplash asked "leave it, it's close enough to the boarder so other clans will see it and fear us" Junipercloud said, his fur stained with blood "come friends, let's head back to camp" Shiningpaw said, she ran past everyone and they followed.

Shiningpaw bursted into the clearing attracting attention with her blood soaked pelt, her white and black striped fur was hardly visible under the blood "Shiningpaw! What happened?" Mossfire asked "she killed a pack leader" Aspenfall said proudly "what?!" Patchstar asked "Shiningpaw medicine cat den now!" Patchstar said, Shiningpaw didn't reply but felt dizzy and fell to the ground "pack... Run..." She muttered then passed out.

"Pack!" Shiningpaw said with a jolt, she looked around "good morning Shiningpaw" Windflare said "Patchstar wants to announce something to the Clan, better get going and you were only out since sunup it is now sundown" Windflare explained, Shiningpaw nodded and left the den, her pelt was clean and wounds healed "I see you are awake Shiningpaw" Patchstar said happily "just on time for the Clan meeting" Patchstar said, everyone gathered around high rock "today SwiftClan its first dog attack but we had an exceptional apprentice that was now coward and fought till the end, Shiningpaw come forward" Patchstar said, Shiningpaw did as told and padded up to high rock "you fought like all of ThornClan and we honor that with your warrior name, FireClan has chosen your new name, Shiningpaw you shall be known as Shiningmoon in honor of your courage and determination that shine like the moon, FireClan has spoken and your name is written in the stars" Patchstar said touching her nose to the cats head, "Shiningmoon! Shiningmoon!" The Clan cheered her name "thank you Patchstar, I wouldn't have gotten this far if it wasn't for Aspenfall" Shiningmoon said "your a good warrior Shiningmoon" Patchstar said, that night Shiningmoon sat vigil "hey, how you liking your first vigil Shine?" Foxwater asked, he always called cats by the first part of their names, "I love it" Shiningmoon said "I'm loving the veiw" Foxwater said looking at Shiningmoon "be quiet" she chuckle "I'm not lying Shine, your beautiful" Foxwater said "I just became a warrior fox-brain and I don't want kits anytime soon" Shiningmoon said "I can wait" he said "your still that bratty Foxkit I adored and loved to play with" Shiningmoon chuckled, there was a odd sound from the distance "shh..." Shiningmoon said "fox at the nursery" Shiningmoon said running to the back of the nursery, she was wrong, a badger "badger attack! Evacuate the nursery!"  Shiningmoon yelled clawing at the badger "come on kits! Get your mother's this is no joke out of the camp!" Foxwater yelled, three Warriors came running at the badger, clinging to its fur and biting and slashing, there was a yowl of pain and a cat flung away from the badger, "Ravenkit get back here!" Songbird yelled, the young kit hesitated but ran off to join his siblings and foster mother, the badger ran off "Mapelstorm! Thornwhisker! Chase the badger past the borders make sure it doesn't come back" Patchstar said "Hazelwhisker are you okay?" Patchstar asked the wounded deputy "f-fine Patchstar just... In pain" Hazelwhisker murmured "Hazelwhisker, father, you are not well, please go see Echosong or Windflare or Firestream" Shiningmoon said "since when did you know so much?" Hazelwhisker laughed "now Hazelwhisker" Shiningmoon demanded, Hazelwhisker chuckled and padded to the medicine cat den "that goes for all wounded cats, I want you to be safe so go to the medicine cat den" Shiningmoon instructed "what makes you think you can tell us what to do?" Thrushthunder challenged "she wishes to keep us safe Thrushthunder, do not be so bitter" Patchstar teased him "I only wish the best for everyone" Shiningmoon said "your as bitter as Coldheart, Shiningmoon, you only wish to make us healthy then slay us down" Thrushthunder said "I want to of nothing of the sort" Shiningmoon argued "Thrushthunder medicine cat den now" Patchstar hissed "whatever" the old cat muttered "Shiningmoon!" A small meow broke through the camp "hello Ravenkit" Shiningmoon said happily "that was awesome!" Ravenkit yelled "you guys fought that badger like !roar! We're Warriors and we're going to win!" Riverkit said "aw... That's so cute" Fernclaw said, her stomach swolen with kits, the kits were running around while the Queens tried keeping them calm "Berrykit get over here!" Waspclaw yelled to her son "Patchstar! Patchstar look! Look!" Berrykit pestered the leader "what is it Berrykit?" Patchstar asked "I'm the badger roar!" Berrykit said "lovely, now! Come on Clan we have to go to the gathering" Patchstar said.

"Finally, SwiftClan has arrived" Quickstar, leader of ThornClan, teased "I'm sorry everyone we had a badger attack" Patchstar said "is everyone alright?" Hollystar, leader of SunClan, asked "I'm worried for my deputy, Hazelwhisker, he was injured during the fight" Patchstar said "did you find someone to take his place while he's being taken care of?" Lionstar, leader of FrostClan, asked "no but I do plan on announcing that" Patchstar said "is RainClan joining us?" Patchstar asked (RainClan is like SkyClan but just around more and they don't fight a lot but they are fierce kinda a BloodClan SkyClan cross... That's that description of the Clan... Yeah) "I think they are" a voice said "Brightstar! Pleasure seeing you here" Patchstar greeted them "hello Patchstar" the cat said "shall we get this started?" Lionstar asked "of course" Patchstar said, and so it started with RainClan going first "we are expecting kits in RainClan and FireClan has been good to us" Brightstar said, her white and ginger fur standing on end "something smells of dog" she said "SwiftClan can explain that!" Patchstar stepped in "we suffered from a dog and badger attack today but we do welcome a new warrior and medicine cat, the new warrior faced a deadly challenge today but was victorious by killing a pack leader" Patchstar said "Shiningmoon and Firestream step forward" Patchstar said, Shiningmoon and Firestream padded forward "she killed a pack leader?" A cat asked "Shiningmoon! Shiningmoon!" The Clans cheered "and also I announce that Shiningmoon will take her father's place as deputy while he is being helped from the badger attack" Patchstar added "thank you Patchstar" Shiningmoon said, the gathering went on "we have lost the lives of our elders Dewdrop and Snowflame" Lionstar announced, all Clans knew about those two kind elders, they told amazing stories to apprentices and were very kind to every cat "I wish them the best in FireClan" Quickstar said, his fur standing on edge "that concludes tonight for the gathering, get home safe Clans" Lionstar said, Patchstar nodded and motioned for her Clan to follow her "Patchstar did you notice how Quickstar's fur stood on edge? What do you think happened?" Shiningmoon asked "I didn't notice that Shiningmoon, your mother should've named you Eaglekit so FireClan could've named you Eagleye, but I think he might be planning an attack on a Clan especially FrostClan, very good Shiningmoon" Patchstar praised.

Next day

"Hazelwhisker are you alright?" Patchstar asked "I'm fine Patchstar look, I can run like a kit I'm fine I have many moons to live" Hazelwhisker chuckled "well than, Shiningmoon you were a good deputy but your father is ready to take his place back" Patchstar said "wonderful, I enjoyed being deputy for the time I had but I'm glad to see Hazelwhisker on his paws again" Shiningmoon said "thank you Shiningmoon" Hazelwhisker said, "Patchstar! Patchstar" a tiny voice was heard "Ashkit what's wrong?" Patchstar asked "Moonshadow's kits are being mean" the tiny grey kit squeaked "awe I'll deal with it Patchstar" Shiningmoon said, Moonshadow then came from the nursery "I'm so sorry Shiningmoon and Patchstar my kits are just in a bad mood I am so very very sorry" Moonshadow apologized "oh it's quite alright Moonshadow" Shiningmoon said "thank you so much Shiningmoon" Moonshadow said, "anyways so we have battle plans just in case ThornClan attacks right?" Shiningmoon asked "yes we do for the fourth time Shiningmoon" Patchstar laughed, "ThornClan! Attack!" A yowl split across camp and cats ran out of the bushes and Quickstar leading "SwiftClan! Attack!" Patchstar yelled, Shiningmoon swung around and ran twords a brown and white tom, she recognized him as Rabbitpelt, Shiningmoon slashed at the warrior knocking him to the ground there was yowls of pain everywhere "ThornClan! Retreat!" Quickstar yelled "get out of our territory!" Shiningmoon yelled as Rabbitpelt ran off with blood dripping from his face and mouth, "is everyone okay?" Patchstar asked the wounded warriors "I'm good" Shiningmoon said, every cat was alright just minor scratches "you were right Shiningmoon, I'm proud of you" Patchstar said "thank you Patchstar"  Shiningmoon said "Oatsplash! You, Hollydawn, Thrushthunder and Riverpaw go on a hunting patrol" Patchstar ordered "Shiningmoon I think your ready for an apprentice" Patchstar said "really?" Shiningmoon asked, Patchstar nodded, "all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under high rock" Patchstar said and all the cats gathered under the rock "we welcome three new apprentices" Patchstar said "Nightkit step forward" Patchstar called "from this day forth you shall be known as Nightpaw" Patchstar said, Nightpaw nodded "Shiningmoon, Aspenfall taught you well and I hope you will pass those skills to Nightpaw" Patchstar said, Shiningmoon padded twords her apprentice and touched her nose to his forehead and so it went on.
