"Shiningkit get over here" Shiningkit's mother, Mossfire, called "mama look!" Shiningkit "dearest what is it?" Mossfire asked sleepily "fire bugs!" Shiningkit squealed and played around with all of Swiftclan still asleep, "very pretty dear now get to bed" Mossfire said "okay mama" Shiningkit said and ran to the nursery and fell asleep.

Next morning

"Mama look!" Shiningkit squealed as her father, Hazelwhisker, the deputy entered camp with Patchstar "Swiftstar will not be forgotten Patchstar, she will watch us from FireClan" Hazelwhisker said to the new leader "she was always so caring though Hazelwhisker, such a kind leader" Patchstar said, Swiftstar had died five moons after Shiningkit was born, Patchstar was right, Swiftstar always visited Shiningkit and was so kind to her "dad! Patchstar" Shiningkit called, Hazelwhisker and Patchstar looked at the young "hello my kit how are you?" Hazelwhisker asked "I'm happy!" Shiningkit replied "hello Shiningkit, lovely morning is it not?" Patchstar said "very pretty" Shiningkit said, Patchstar smiled at the five moon old kit "have you been playing nicely with Cherryleaf's kits?" Patchstar asked "yes I have, they have been very kind to me as well" Shiningkit smiled bright, her long white and black fur blowing in the wind "Patchstar may I talk to you quickly" Echosong, the medicine cat, asked, her apprentice, Windpaw, following behind her "yes of course, please excuse me" Patchstar said and followed the medicine cats, "Shiningkit where is your mother?" Hazelwhisker asked "mama is still sleeping, I woke up before long before Sunhigh, like when it was dark and the fire bugs were out" Shiningkit said "Shiningkit would you like to play?" Foxkit asked, Shiningkit looked at her father "go on, I'll talk to you later my kit" Hazelwhisker said, Shiningkit nodded and ran off "what will we play?" Shiningkit asked "mouse and Warrior" Foxkit said "will Firekit and Fernkit play?" Shiningkit asked "no, their to tired apparently, it'll just be us" he said "can I be the warrior?" Shiningkit asked "sure" Foxkit smiled, his white and ginger fur blowing in the wind, the two played all morning until Sunhigh.

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey please gather under high rock" Patchstar announced "the apprentices aren't ready to be Warriors and you still have a few sunrises in the nursery, what do you think happened?" Shiningkit asked "I dunno" Foxkit said as the two ran off to the crowd "we suffer from two losses of elders today" Patchstar continued "Birdtail and Mumblemouth have passed from stone fall" Patchstar said, stone fall is a disease that causes the cat to feel like he or she is falling forever which causes throwing up and coughing like greencough but the one affect that is most deadly is when the cat hallucinates and they tend to wonder into the deadlier parts of Swiftclan territory but that's only some cats that do that at least five percent have died from hallucinations "no... Not Birdtail" Foxkit said sadly, Birdtale always told amazing stories that kits loved "I wish them the best in FireClan" Patchstar said, (FireClan is like StarClan) "thank you my Clanmates that is all" Patchstar finished, Shiningkit was over whelmed with sadness from the loss of her favorite elders "Shiningkit? Are you alright?" A voice asked, Shiningkit came back into reality "oh... Hi Moonstep I'm fine" Shiningkit lied, Moonstep was a senior warrior, she was around when Birdtail and Mumblemouth were new Warriors, Moonstep was mentored by Mumblemouth "are you okay Moonstep?" Shiningkit asked "I'm.... I could be better" Moonstep said "I know Moonstep I'm sad too but they will not be forgotten" Shiningkit said "I know Shiningkit" Moonstep "are you going to become an elder?" Shiningkit asked "not yet I'm at least going to wait until your a warrior, that gives me seven moons and if feel old than I'll become an elder but I do not feel old" Moonstep explained "what about Sparrowriver and Dawnsparrow?" Shiningkit asked "they became Warriors the moon before you were born" Moonstep said "I like your stories Moonstep" Shiningkit said "thank you dear" Moonstep said "Riverdawn's kits' are coming!" A voice yelled, everyone looked as Echosong and Windpaw rushed the Queen to the nursery "congratulations Oatsplash, your a father" Patchstar said happily to the warrior "is Riverdawn going to be okay?" Foxkit asked "I think so Foxkit, she's young but strong" Patchstar explained.

That night Riverdawn died kitting but she left behind three beautiful kits, Riverkit, Ravenkit and Silverkit "Songbird are you alright?" Someone asked, every cat in the clearing whirled to see the kit swollen Songbird "I... I think my... Kits" she murmured "Echosong!" Hazelwhisker called "on it, Windpaw moss please" Echosong said to her apprentice "two kittings in a row, I wonder if borage leaves will be used" Firekit asked "what's borage leaves?" Shiningkit asked "a type of herb to help Queen's to produce more and better milk" Firekit said "I want to be a medicine cat when I'm older" Firekit added, "Patchstar!" Echosong bursted from the nursery "is something wrong?" Patchstar asked "no... It's... One tom Patchstar so we found a queen to look after the three other kits" Echosong said "mama" Shiningkit called, Mossfire and Hazelwhisker walked over "yes darling?" Mossfire asked "I'm *yawn* tired" Shiningkit said sleepily "she's tired?" Morningblaze asked "yes, she is" Mossfire said "how 'bout she crawls in with us elders?" Badgerface asked "is that alright with you guys?" Hazelwhisker asked "it's fine with me" Beechbreeze said "it's fine with me" Morningblaze said "I suggested it" Badgerface chuckled "thank you so much" Mossfire said "no problem darling" Beechbreeze said "come on little one" Morningblaze said "thank *yawn* you" Shiningkit said, she sluggishly walked with the elders to the elders den "you can use Birdtail's old nest if you'd like sweetie" Morningblaze said "o-okay" Shiningkit said climbing into the nest that smelt of Birdtail "I miss them" Shiningkit said drifting off to sleep "we know Shiningkit" Badgerface said.

Shiningkit was running around in FireClan forest "Shiningkit..." A voice said "hello?" Shiningkit called, three cats stepped out of the forest and one from the other side "chose..." One she-cat said "Riverdawn! Mumblemouth! Birdtail!" Shiningkit bounced "come here little kit" a raspy voice said, Shiningkit whipped around to face a mean looking cat "this side will change you..." The raspy voice said "leave her alone Coldheart" Mumblemouth spat "Shiningkit please come here" Riverdawn said, Shiningkit nodded "when my kits are old enough tell them... Tell them I love them" Riverdawn said, Shiningkit nodded as they all started fading.

Shiningkit woke up "mama?" She asked, it seemed that no one was asleep "your awake" Badgerface smiled at Shiningkit "come kit the new arrivals have opened their eyes" Badgerface said, Shiningkit nodded and followed the old cat out of the den, the fresh air blew through Shiningkit's fur and the sun burned her eyes, she heard murmurs all around her as cats stood outside the nursery "can I see?" Shiningkit asked "of course" Songbird said, she moved here tail away to reveal four kits, two with green eyes one with two different colored eyes and one with... "Are you Shiningkit?" The one with strange eyes asked "yes, I am" Shiningkit says "don't be scared please.... My eyes are not yet green like my mother's" the kit says "how does it know about its mother?" A voice asks "I have a name" the kit said "I'm Ravenkit" the small black and silver tom said "you think I'm weird" it added "no... I think your beautiful" Shiningkit said "r-really?" Ravenkit asked "of course" Shiningkit ensured "you are beautiful Ravenkit" Oatsplash, Ravenkit's father, said.

Some cats were uncomfortable with Ravenkit but that was okay, Ravenkit was beautiful to Oatslpash, Shiningkit, Songbird and all of Ravenkit's siblings, "come on Foxkit... One last game before your an apprentice?" Shiningkit asked "of course" Foxkit said "Firekit run!" A yowl broke through the camp, Firekit bursted from the nursery "help!" Firekit ran, a fox chased after him "fox in the camp! Evacuate elders and kits" Patchstar said, Shiningkit didn't know what came over her but she jumped into action and jumped infront of the fox, "stay away from him!" Shiningkit hissed with fury in her eyes, she was almost as big as Firekit, the eldest brother of Fernkit and Foxkit, Shiningkit unsheathed her claws and slashed at the fox, luckily it was a small one but not a baby, the fox whimpered as Shiningkit continued slashing and hitting it, blood dripped down the fox's muzzle and in the corner of its mouth "leave!" Shiningkit yelled, the fox did as told and scampered off, relief flooded through Shiningkit "Shiningkit!" Her mother's mewl broke through the silent camp "you saved Firekit! Thank you" Cherryleaf said "I... Your welcome" Shiningkit said "that was a mouse-brained move Shiningkit" Hollydawn spat "I know" Shiningkit said "and I'm sorry but instincts kicked in and I felt like I could do anything, please forgive my mouse-brained actions Hollydawn I am truely sorry" Shiningkit said sounding like a real warrior "I..." Hollydawn was speechless "Shiningkit!" Patchstar walked up to the kit "I'm sorry Patchstar, I should've listened" Shiningkit admitted "I see you learned your lesson, good job Shiningkit, I've never seen a warrior with that much courage and determination" Patchstar praised "r-really? I did good?" Shiningkit asked "that was great!" Foxkit exclaimed knocking Shiningkit down "get off me" she laughed.
