"But darling, where is all your jewellery? And where are the plants in this place?"

Well, here she is! Queen Wisteria, the 14th monarch of the Guild of Amephysts, daughter of King Iris and Queen Echinacea, wife of King Twilight, mother of Princess Byzantine and Prince Charoite, and a passionate lover of plants, particularly forsythias and Ficus elasticas.

¤ ¤ ¤ ¤ ¤

"Plants are life, dear, you must have some! Plants are the core of our world, our symbiotic partners, our lives. Plants are stellar, darling, without a doubt."

I think, for once, I'm actually quite proud of this! For the first Amephyst I ever drew, she came out alright! I like how Wisteria's design turned out and the pose. The talons are alright, but the proportions for the front legs are horrible- and I messed up of the face. I had to redo it about three times because one of my pens smudged :/

"It's all about presentation, dearie, you must enthrall the audience! That way, you can make anything happen."

Time Taken: About 2 weeks on the dragon herself (including normal human activities and procrastinating), 1 hour on the background

Using: 140 GSM A4 sketch paper, HB pencil (sometimes a 0.7 mechanical pencil), Faber-Castell colour pencils, DécoTime Metallic and Aqua Twinmarkers, Posca Pens, Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen fineliner (0.3/S), docrafts vintage Artiste brush markers, and the occasional gel pens

Character: Queen Wisteria of the Guild of Amephysts (original character)

Satisfaction Level: 7½/10

"Okapi, darling, a life without plants must be torture! I'll see to it that the halls of your Sun Palace will be positively graced with plantlife!"

Hope you guys like her!
Thanks for all the support and have a great day/night guys! <3

Important question for The Eternal Spark! Would you guys rather seeing one book per protagonist (so, one for Xerecole, one for Saffron, and one for Marabou), or mixed narratives (so one chapter would have Xerecole, another would have Saffron, and another Marabou, all in the same book)? One book per protagonist would probably be more organisable. But with mixed/split narratives, I would be able to tell what's happening at the same time on the other side of the island, without needing a whole new book. I'm kind of leaning more onto split/mixed narrative, but I'm still not sure...

What do you guys think?

Also, please feel more than free to ask questions about Whyvaria, the Eternal Spark, the characters, the lore, anything about my books! Any questions at all would and will help me expand my books and its universe!

Thanks guys! See you soon!

Description:

Queen Wisteria is a tall but slenderly-built royal Amephyst. Her neck is longer than the average Amephyst's but her horns are shorter and thicker than normal. Her legs are of average proportions, with her hind legs being marginally longer than her front.

Her main scales are a medium shade of purple, whilst her underscales are a warm lilac and her overscales are a dusty dark indigo. Her iridescent patterns are a translucent raspberry pink, with mettalic pale pink dapples. Her horns, which are straight and slightly forward-facing, are twilight lavender in colour, including her nose horn, and her lava sac is similar, but being paler and of an 'older' shade. The spines on her back are a cinder-like purplish-black.

The overscales include the tip of her snout and along it to her forehead, as well as her upper talons (lower talons are covered in underscales) and the tops of her legs and wings. The underscales run along the bottom of her neck, underbelly, tail and legs. Her eye crest is a brighter, more saturated antique fuchsia. In general, her head shape resembles that of a RainWing's. Her iridescent patterns go along most of her body in two symmetric zigzags, from the top of her neck to the tip of her tail. On her legs and wings, they're still symmetric but go it different patterns (irregular zigzags). Along her head, there's one that goes from her ear to her eye, and another short one across from her nose to the edge of the larger piece of the eye crest.

Wisteria's irises are a blush-pink, with light plum and pale pastel magenta hints. Her pupils are black with a tint of wine-red in certain lighting (with stylised art, use 1st colour, with realistic art, use 2nd colour).

As with almost any Amephyst, the colour of the wings mirrors the colour of your iridescent patterns. Wisteria's inner wings are a deep rose, while her outer wings are a deep carmine. Her skin, including any scars that she will get (she currently doesn't have any) and her inner ears, are a mountbatten pink.

The Amephyst crown is made of colourful igneous rock of multiple shades, including slate blue, cactus green and dull khali yellow. The amethyst jewels on it and on Wisteria's jewellery are typical purple amethyst colours - deep lavender and pastel purple with darker deluge purple hints. The remaining jewellery is normal silver.

In detail, Wisteria wears a silver necklace at the base of her neck, that is embedded with five amethysts (largest in the middle, then two medium ones either side snd smallest at the ends), which thins out at the back of her neck, a long, silver, diamond-shaped earring in each ear, each with a diamond-shaped piece of amethyst, silver bands on her horns and wing 'fingers', and a tight silver bracelet on each leg.
