Shinichi's POV

I wake up when I hear a loud BANG! I get up and look outside of my window to see my neighbor, Professor Agasa, working on another one of his inventions.

"What happened this time doc," I call out.

"Ah Shinichi! It's just another experiment gone wrong. Sorry, did I wake you?"

"Nah it's fine Professor! I need to go to school anyways," I tell him.

"Oh ok! Have a great day."

I smile and nod my head as I go back into my room and get ready for another day at school. I get into my regular uniform for school. I grab my bag and I leave my place. I soon walk pass a store with TV's on display. I smile and laugh a bit as I hear my name on it. I then get hit with a white bundle. I turn my head to see Ran walk up to me.

"Hey Ran!"

"Shinichi," she says as we start to walk towards school.

"Did your dad get any work," I ask her.

"No. Anyways, what are you going to do with all that fan mail? You should just choose someone and tell the rest you are taken," Ran says.

"Yeah," I say as I look at Ran with a light blush.

"Why are you looking at me," Ran ask me.

"No reason," I say.

She looks at me and I smile sheepishly. She sigh and we continue to walk to school.

"Anyways. You remember the promise you made me if I win the karate tournament," Ran says.

"Hmmm," I say as I think back, already knowing what I promise. "Something about Tropical Land, right?"

"Yup! You promise to take me there if I won first place. And I did," Ran says.

"Ok. Saturday sounds good," I ask her.

"Of course!"

"Great. I'll come and grab you. Anyways we better hurry. We don't want to be late for class," I say as Ran nods in agreement and we hurry off to class.

(TIME SKIP)

I walk home after school. I start thinking about what we are going to do at Tropical Land. Maybe I can confess my love to Ran...though why would she like me back? I sigh as I enter my house. I start on my homework, so that is done and over with. Music plays quietly in the background. After finishing my homework, I read one of the many mystery books I own in my library. I close the book as I finish it. The clock on the wall reads 12:00.

"Oh. I should go to bed now. I do have a busy tomorrow," I say as I head to my room.

I change into my sleep wear and I went to bed.

(DA MORNING)

My doorbell ringing wakes me up from my sleep. I yawn and get out of bed. The person keeps ringing my doorbell. I get up and I look in the mirror to make sure everything is in order. I nod my head in satisfaction and I head towards the door. I open it to see Ran all ready for the day.

"Hey Ran. You can come in," I tell her as I open the door up.

She enters and I close the door behind her.

"I'll be right back. Then we can go to tropical Land," I say as I head to my room.

"Sounds like a plan Shinichi," Ran says.

I close my door and I head to my closet to get some clothing. I look through and I smile as I find the perfect outfit. I change into it quickly and then head downstairs to meet Ran.

"You ready?"

"Yup! Lets go now," I say as we leave my house.

(AFTER SHIN-CHAN SOLVES THE MURDER ON DA ROLLER COASTER)

Ran and I walk around as she cries from the roller coaster murder. I try and comfort her the best that I can. I then sense the same Changeling from before. I look at the man in the black clothing running off somewhere.

"I'll see you later Ran. I just remembered that I got to do something," I tell her as I run after him.

I follow the mysterious man as he walks over to a man with a suit case. I take photos and stay hidden. I frown as I look at him, wondering where his partner is. I gasp and look behind me as he thwack me with a long thing. I grunt and fall unconscious.

(ANOTHER TIME SKIP)

"I found a boy! He's hurt!"

'Who are you calling a boy,' I think as I open my eyes to see a police officer.

He holds his hand out for me and calls me a  boy again. I hold my hand up to my face and I see my sleeve. I look at it in shock to see a kids hand. The police officer looks away and I make my escape.

'I have to get home. Professor Agasa might know what to do!'

I make my way back to my place, making sure to stay hidden.

"Wait a second...how could forget that," I mutter as I look around.

I run into a random hiding place. I make sure no one sees me, as I change into my Changeling form.

/Yes, Shinichi have Changeling blood running through him. Back too the story!!/

I look around to make sure no one sees me and then I head to my house, by flying high in the air. I get to my house in 3 minutes and I land quietly. I change back into my human form and I look around. I sigh in relief, knowing no one saw what I did. I then walk over to Professor Agasa's house to ask him to help me. I look around to find a way in with my new short height. A huge BOOM happens and Agasa comes out of a hole in his wall.

"Professor Agasa! I need your help," I tell him.

"Hello there little guy. Are you lost," he ask me.

"No! It's me Shinichi Kudo!"

"Yeah no. Shinichi is not 7. Now run along."

'Great. He won't listen unless I prove to him that I'm me,' I think as I look at the Professor. 'Welp, time to use my deduction skills.'

I then start to deduce where the Professor was before he was home. He looks at me in awe as I get it correct.

"You are Shinichi," he say.

"Of course I am," I say as I look at him.

We then enter my house to talk about what happened and so that I would be able to explain everything to him. I go into my closet and change into clothing. I enter my library and grumble about how the fit me now. We are about to talk when my door opens up.

"Shinichi! Are you here," I hear Ran say.

'Oh no.'
