mm ; kisses from two
I wrote this piece to celebrate 20k on unexpected roommate. this oneshot is somewhere before minhyun was born.
if you are reading this without reading main story, everything might seem out of context.
madam meera - when did you leave?
minho was preparing to reply as another text arrived. he left for a shoot while his wife was taking her afternoon nap. second trimester is making her too fatigued all day.
madam meera - never mind, just come soon.
your baby is hungry.
which one?
madam meera - our junior.
madam meera - I am sure baby is craving pani puri.
no.
go eat fruits.
I'll come home and prepare dinner.
madam meera - don't make baby mad, minho.
just get pani puri from that indian restuarant in gangnam.
the husband left her on read. he isn't going to give in this time. minho's mother gave him a solid lecture for letting meera eat junk during the initial months of pregnancy. now she sends side dishes every week for her daughter in law to peacefully work from home.
minho often returned home to meera comfortably lying on the couch, the television running in the background, her engrossed in her laptop. woman won't bother to take maternity leave.
today was no different. as minho locked the main door, he heard meera happily walking towards him.
'thank youuu,' meera stretched, reaching for the bag in his hands. she would have blown him a kiss but she was surprised with the contents inside. it was not her snacks.
'please tell me you left the bag in the car,' her tone remained sweet. she looked at minho expectantly.
'not to disappoint you, but sorry,' minho engulfed her into a hug, as they walked back.
'I'll make you spicy soup, okay?'
'no'
'meera stop behaving like this. its for your own good.'
'it isn't. you are making me sad. you are making baby sad,' meera replied, pointing her bump that rested inside the comfy sweater.
'you even took away the chocolates key got!'
'but you stole them back anyway!'
'I ate only half! baby ate the other half!'
minho sighed. meera is using this baby is craving for it excuse too often. her mood swings these days were terrible.
'if you do this to me, I'll ask mom to come stay here,' minho warned taking out his coat and pushing it into laundry. 'or should I call your dad?'
meera shook her head vigorously. her father may pamper her but in this matter he will make minho look lenient. outside food is a no-no.
'good girl,' he placed a kiss on her cheek as he went to take a shower.

meera let out a heavy sigh, trying to finish her dinner.
'what a fate baby,' she spoke rubbing her tummy. 'you are missing out so many indian delicacies.'
minho turned a deaf ear to it. he knew whats happening. guilt tripping.
he did not let meera travel india to her father's house out of fear he might miss his wifey too much. rohan and poorva came to see her two months back. with them they brought every home made snack meera's father could pack, which eventually meera finished in a fortnight.
'it's not working on me babe, stop trying,' minho stated clearing his plates.
'huh cruel dad to be,' meera frowned.
looking down, she continued complaining to the little one 'when he first met, he was such a simp, and now that we are married he is always like meera don't do this, meera don't do that. men change.'
'excuse me? all this accusations for that pani puri?' minho crossed his arms.
'yeah! huh, bye, goodnight.' meera left to their bedroom.

meera glanced at the time. it wasn't even midnight, yet the junior is already playing football inside her. now she is wide awake with all the movements. she walks to the main hallway, finding minho struggling in the kitchen.
'hey? what are you up to?' she asked glancing. her eyes widening at the scene. apart from a set of freshly fried puris, the dustbin was overflowing with failed attempts.
'youtube makes it look easy,' minho stated turning off the stove. 'go sit,' he ordered as he set the center table with everything he made.
'we are eating pani puri, yayy!' meera excitedly clapped. her husband totally did not spent three hours on a dish which can be made in twenty minutes max. 'get me the remote,' she asked. it was time for amazing saturday rerun.
minho facepalmed. she says she's watching it for key but its the source of her midnight cravings.
'more stuffing,' meera smiled as minho handed her a plate, 'its homemade now, cmon!'
'slow down,' minho told as she put the whole snack in.
'you can't be biting it,' she closed her eyes enjoying the taste. pulling him up on the sofa, she fed him the other.
'its a bit sour,' minho told.
'no! its amazing,' meera inched closer, putting his hand on her stomach. 'baby approves,' her face beamed as minho smiled. he brought his lips closer to her bump, kissing it.
'I love you,' minho whispered rubbing the spot.
'then get those remaining puri's too, baby will love you more,' meera told patting his hair.
'there aren't any left, what do you mean?'
'oh please, I saw you store them in the top most cabinet.'
meera chuckled as minho stood, giving up. she knows him too well.
the husband brought back another plate filled with the snacks. it doesn't take much for convincing him to feed. secretly he enjoys pampering her too.
'wait, I need a reward first,' minho told, hiding the plate behind.
'this is the reward,' meera pouted rubbing her womb. she's already fluttering her eyelashes, a cute face that seems to soften her husband.
'that's the grand one, an immediate one for me feeding,' minho stated.
grabbing his arm, she pulls him next to her. moving closer she places a sweet kiss on his cheek, 'done.'
before she moves back, minho holds her face, bringing it near again. 'I am feeding two. the cheek one is from the baby, what's from the mom?'
a playful smile spreads across her lips. he is using her logic now. 'so dad has cravings too.'
minho chuckled at the sentence before meera leaned forward to kiss his lips. minho's hand reached her cheeks, cupping it gently and pulling her into his lap.
soon their passionate kiss ceased as she felt her belly pushing forward.
'okay, I am not doing anything to your mom, sorry' minho apologized rubbing the stomach. the way baby senses anything when things turn heated up is still foreign to him.
'wait few more months,' meera smiled, kissing his nose. 'you'll then get separate kisses from two.'
