"I thought you liked Jongin"

"It's complicated though.." Taehee smiled at Taemin who rolled his eyes.

"Taemin, we need privacy so can you stand out for 5 minutes?" She said more likely like a command.

He stood simply with no movements with their eyes staring each others. The place became unusually quiet and I couldn't make out what's going on in their mind because they had their hereditary *poker face* I seriously think this is sort of a staring competition.

"Come on! I'm not going to rape her in those 5 minutes" she scoffed.

Fine..I should get used to these kinda "random" talks..

He turned glinted. It was as though he was asking me what are we going to speak about and I looked him back with the same expression.

He rolled his eye and left the room and that made me even more nervous cause I'm in an unfamiliar place with an unfamiliar person. I gulped my saliva when she walked towards me.

"Please sit down Haneul" she said and my hand nervously gripped the armchair.

"So....Jongin likes you?" She said folding her arms.

"J-Jongin?" I asked her back.

"Kai's real name..He changed his name when he went to Korea for studies" she answered my mindvoice. My mind is still processing her words cause I still can't believe the fact that he has a real name!

"Fine..I get it now. You don't even know his name. So....you both aren't that close to the point I've assumed" he scratched her chin walking around the room like a CBI officer enquiring a terrorist.

"Jongin is different now..like he's smiling and all but I know that deep inside he's hiding something that's very big..and that's why I made a thorough background checking regarding his stay in Korea and that's how I came to know about you" she pointed her fingers at me with her sharp eyes looking deeply into mine. I gulped my saliva thrice.

"I'm the most envious and the most possessive being in the world when it comes to Jongin. You know basically...I hate it when girls get near him. Moreover he's not interested in them and that's a different story. You were the first girl he's ever got interested and that made me....."

Angry? To murder me? To skin me alive?

"...curious.." she finished and I mentally heaved a huge breath of relief.

"And what surprised me most was when I came to know that you're my brother's girlfriend...and I got a lot more curious about you"

"W-Why?"

"You can easily change a person..like Jongin and my brother. And you have no idea how scary Taemin's actions were for the past year without you...Just how can you do that?"

I stayed quiet.

"I'm glad that you didn't fall for Jongin..so you" she pointed at me.

"You...you are helping me to make him fall for me" she said. I looked at her weirdly.

"I know it sounds ridiculous but...I want him. You know..I never dated anyone in my life cause of Jongin. He was my first friend, first crush, first infatuation, first love..he's my first in everything and I want him to be...but he's utterly not interested in me" she smirked rolling her eyes.

"Our 5 minutes is over and you can go now" she said.

What the hell just happened? She spoke something and I couldn't get her Final point. What was she trying to imply? I got up from the chair and moved towards the door.

"By the way!" She called put and that made my body spin towards her direction.

"Taemin doesn't know that Jongin is Kai..He's thinking that Kai is just some random guy. So make sure he stays like that.."

"Why is it so...Do they know each other?" I asked her but she smiled in turn.

"You're really a curious person aren't you? Well it's better to not know certain things.." she smirked. My eyebrows crooked.

"Haneul!" I heard Taemin calling me and I suddenly looked back.

"Go for now... Make my brother happy. It's nice to see him smiling like that..." she got up to open the door. When her hands were firmly placed on the handle, she turned towards me.

"And one more thing...Don't ever let Taemin and Jongin meet each other...And I'm repeating this again, don't reveal it to him at any cost that Kai and Jongin are the same person" she opened the door with a smile before I could ask her anything back.

"Just random things and no big secrets!" I said to Taemin for the 10th time cause he kept on bugging me about my private talk with Taehee. He looked down seriously contemplating things.

He has been so curious about our conversation for the past half an hour.

"Yah~" I called him.

"What?"

"Take me out" I hit him. He looked at me raising his eyebrows.

"It's your birthday! So let's go.."

"Where do you want to go?"

"Somewhere...I don't care even if that place isn't pleasant or whatever..as long it's just us. I want to be alone with you.." my hands ran through his hair.

He gently grabbed it and kissed my knuckles.

"I'll get the car.."he whispered.

"No..let's walk.." I whispered back.

"Why?" His sounded soft.

"If we take a car, we'll go to the place faster and come back soon..that's why"

He just smiled at my sentence and placed a small kiss on my forehead before getting up.

We were welcomed by the mild snow fall, the minute we stepped out. He had his protective arms around my shoulers making me feel warmer. I pretended to shiver hoping that he would held me even more closer. My hands tightly gripped his arms and I leaned over him so our side bodies were linking.

The serene night sky blanketed us as we took each step on the snow covered lonely path. I could feel his beautiful eyes staring at me with a gentle smile even though I never looked up. He planted a soft kiss on my hair and rested his head against my head and walked silently.

There were no sounds except for our breathing and the sound of the leaves that are getting crushed under our feet. My hand slowly reached his large hands and entwined our fingers..holding it tighter.

"...and a small birthday party was conducted with my family members and a few shareholders. And the next minute I was back to my work cau....." he was going on and on but I couldn't concentrate on his words cause his plump lips kept on distracting me.

I pretended to concentrate on his words whenever he looks at me sideways.

"The work will be completed by next Monday and I'll be leaving Alaska and going back to New York...along with you. And I'm 100% sure that you never listened to me all this while cause you're mind is thinking of ways to kiss my lips" he said it in a go.

I just hid my face in his coat due to embarrassment. And I could hear him smiling while naturally pulling me even more closer. We sat on a bench beneath a lonely Xmas tree. The place was deserted.

We stayed silent, simply staring at the shimmering stars. I quite often caught him stealing glances at me.

This feels like magic. I seriously think it's a dream cause it's hard for me to believe that I'm next to him.

We stayed silent for a minute..

"You know...I've fantasized these scenes when I was alone. Sometimes...I felt like I didn't wanna live in reality because I was contended with my dreams with you in it. And I imagined crazy scenarios like you popping out from my wardrobe on Valentine's Day and telling "Surprise!".. I sound stupid right?" I just laughed.

But I never knew he was looking at me deeply.

"But now I've realized that....With you each and every day feels like a Valentine's Day. I don-" I was cut off when he grabbed me by neck and kissed me.

"Saying such sweet things..." he murmured making me go red. I gently caressed his face.

He placed his hands on mine and kissed my palm.

"Happy 19th Birthday Taemin. It's 8.30 now and this is your birth time" I whispered in his ears.

He closed his eyes for a brief second with a beautiful smile on his lips. He pulled me closer to him.

"Grant my wish then"

"What's your wish? I'll grant it unless it's something perverted" I shot back.

"Just..."

"Just...?"

"Call me Oppa...till this day ends"

"Taemin!!!! Please..." I looked at him shocked. He raised his eye brows.

"It would be embarrassing.."

"Yah! I'm telling you to call me, your boyfriend, Lee Taemin as Oppa! I'm not asking you to call some random guynas that for you to feel embarrassed!" He yelled laughing at my helpless reaction.

"Just once at least...please" he worked on with his puppy eyes. I gulped my saliva and my face already started tor turn red.

"Taemin O-O....p.....p....I CAN'T!!!!!!! I CANT CALL YOU THAT!" I pushed him down and started running.

Seconds later I ran even even faster with all my might when I saw him running after me. He's chasing me!

"Haneul!!! I'm warning you! Come back here!"

"I won't!!"

"If you come back to me and call me "Oppa" voluntarily then I'm sparing you...but if I catch you ...."

"What will you do?!!"

"The consequences will be very perverted! And you have to do more things other than calling me Oppa!" He shouted almost catching my wrist.

"What things?!" I laughed at his failed attempt.

"Do you seriously wanna hear?! Lend me your ears..I'll whisper it!" He shouted.

"Do I look that stupid??? Hahahahahahaha! Try to catch me!" I shouted victoriously looking at the wide gap between us.

I heard no reply from him and I continued to run and run. I never bothered to even turn my head cause his face would seriously distract me.

My laughs slowly subsided when I could no longer hear his foot steps.

I halted and turned back. My eyes widened when I couldn't  see Taemin. I nervously looked around the place. My eyes examined the entire place, panting harder.

"Taemin?!" I shouted but there was no response.

"You're playing right? I know you're in here.." I tried to sound okay.

When I heard no response I started to panic. My breaths hitched and my Palm started to sweat.

"Taemin! This better be a prank! Or I'm skinning you alive!" I shouted seriously. I started shivering when I could no longer hear him.

Minutes passed....and there were no signs of him. My vision blurred.

"Fine! I accept my defeat..just please come out! You're scaring me!" my voice cracked.

I almost had a panic attack when I felt a pair of hands covering my eyes from behind. My eyes got fully teary. I spun around and hugged him.

"Stupid! Idiot! Perverted creature! I'll kill you if you do this ever again!" I slapped his chest while hugging him. I poured out my two minute scary experience all over him.

But........ then I felt something strange. My body quivered when I felt something different.

Wait.......T-This.....is not....

I flinched back immediately and pushed him gently.

T-This scent......it's familiar.....b-but..

"What happened to you Haneul?"

My eyes widened and my heart beat increased its pace when I recognized that voice. I dared to look up. It took a while for me to even react.

"K-Kai...?"

"How are you Haneul?" His voice proved that my assumption was right.

"What are you doing here?" I turned around. My eyes fell on Taemin who stood on my either side.

His fists balled up and his jaw tightened. His sharp eyes directed at Kai. This look...I've never seen it before. He looked really....scary.

My mind imagined worst things as Taehee's words rang like an alarm in my ears.

"And one more thing...Don't ever let Taemin and Jongin meet each other..."
