"Every murder has a motive but you ain't killing me"

*Loosely based on dream I had as I can't remember all the details. Since I don't want to write myself into the story, dream me will be substituted by Barry*

*Zach's POV*

It's been a long day of working for all of us on the new album. We were all getting tired and frustrated with each other, so I decided to step out for some air. I guess I wasn't the only one with that idea, cause Barry quickly joined me. I was pretty annoyed when he decided to stand right next to me.
"All this space man and you gotta get right in my face?" I asked with an annoyed tone. "I came out here to get away from all ya'll"
"Whatever man" Barry just grumbled. I was pretty annoyed when he didn't move, it was like he was trying to get on my nerves.
"Dude, move" I growled, giving him a slight push.
"Make me" He said, now smirking. Okay, now I know he was trying to get on my nerves. Not wanting to start a full on fight, I walked away.

I decided to get into my car so I could have some privacy. I turned it on so I could put the windows down and start the radio, then I leaned my head against the wheel. Finally, some peace. Or at least I thought. When I lifted my head back up I saw Barry sitting on the truck of my car through my rear view mirror. Now I was furious.
"Get the fuck off my car!" I yelled as I leaned my head out the window. Barry didn't move, so I opened my door and stepped out. "I said move!"
"Chill man" He said with another smirk. What was his deal? I stormed towards him, ready to start swinging.

As I approached Barry, Brent walked over to us.
"What's going on guys?" He asked.
"Barry's being a total ass right now" I spit out as I flung my arm out, pointing towards Barry who was still sitting on my car.
"I don't know what he's talking about. I'm just hanging out" Barry told Brent.
"Is this about earlier?" Brent asked both of us. This morning I may have accidentally locked Barry outside the studio, but Eric eventually let him in.
"Is it Barry? I said I was sorry" I said, trying to calm down.
"We're just hanging out, aren't we buddy?" He said with a smile. Yup, he was trying to annoy me to death.
"Brent, do something" I whined.
"Come on Barry, let's let Zach cool off" Brent said. Barry just nodded and followed Brent back inside.

I sat back in my car while trying to calm down. I guess I was a bit mean this morning, even laughing at Barry as he knocked on the window to get our attention. Maybe his punishment was nice compared to what I did to him. After catching my breath and clearing my mind, I got out of my car and headed back inside to apologize.

"Hey Barry?" I called out to him and we walked inside. I found him standing with Brent.
"Yeah Zach?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.
"Sorry about this morning" I rubbed the back of my neck as I spoke. Barry smiled.
"Thanks. It was funny looking back on it now though. Sorry for getting on your nerves earlier" He said.
"Now hug it out" Brent said, pushing us closer together. Barry and I smiled and embraced each other. So glad that's over with.

*Sorry it's so short, like I said I forgot a lot of details and made up most of the conflict as I wrote. Looking at what i wrote, I should've done Eric instead of Barry as I can't picture Barry being that petty, but I'll keep it. Thanks for reading*
