"You can blame bad luck but you were asking for it"

*Barry's POV*

"Barry, wake up. We've stopped" I heard Zach call out. I slowly opened my eyes and stretched. I must have fallen asleep on the bus. As I stood up, my band mates started filing out of the bus. I followed close behind.
"What the..." Brent suddenly said.
"So much for nice spring weather" I heard Eric mumble. I took a look around to see a sheet of snow on the ground. It was then I realized how cool the air was. I was wide awake now.
"I guess winter lasts longer here" I said, looking up to see the clouds begin to part.
"Shouldn't last this long" Zach complained. "We were promised nice weather" I just shrugged and started to follow Eric towards the hotel.

I thought Brent and Zach were following close behind, but suddenly my back felt cold and wet. I turned around to see the two of them trying not to laugh. Did one of them really throw a snowball? I rolled my eyes and kept walking, until Eric got hit next.
"Hey!" He called out as he turned around. The two were laughing again, this time Zach still had a snowball in his hands. This was war.

I walked over to a snow pile and scooped up some snow. It wasn't the best snow for a snowball fight, but it would have to do. I packed it together as well as I could and took aim at Brent.
"You asked for this" I said as I threw as hard as I could. It hit his shoulder , making him jump. Eric quickly threw one at Zach, hitting his chest.
"It's on now boys" Brent yelled. We were quick to build each snowball and pelt each other. It started as Brent and Zach vs me and Eric, but by the end we were all pelting each other with snowballs. We kept at it until the sun came out, making it impossible to form the snow anymore. We called it a draw and grabbed our bags, walking into the hotel. It feels great knowing I get to work with such great friends who know how to have fun.

Just a cute short story inspired by waking up to snow this morning, despite it being late April. I just wanted to write something fun from that idea so sorry if it's not the right time of year for a idea like this. Sorry it's really short, just wanted something short and sweet. Hope ya'll like it
