Adeline is a genuinely kind person all around and she loves to find the beauty on every living thing. She cares more than she should about everyone she encounters even a stranger on the streets. Despite her being so smart she is very naive when it comes to people in general and would probably offer to cook a meal for a person that broke into her house in concern. She is also a very hard worker no matter what she does she puts her entire effort into it and she wont stop until its successful. She is full on motivation and determination that has been instilled in her since she was a child and has driven to the success she has had today but more often than not her kindness gets in the way of her going as far as she could. She always tries to find the bright side or silver lining in everything that happens to her and it takes a lot to get her down but when she is in a bad mood or is having a particularly long string of bad luck she starts to shut people out and figure out how to solve her problems on her own and it would probably take a miracle for her to ask for help.

Adaline has always been someone that loves nature and gardening, if she hadn't already chosen a career path she might have owned a greenhouse with every flower known to man. She loved being and getting her hands doing almost as much she loved diving into old books and discovering things about the past and what people believed and how they communicated. Another thing she loved to do was people watch in the modern world. she keeps a notebook and mini sketched of the people she finds most interesting. She takes a lot of joy in caring for people as it has been second nature for her to do her whole life so she enjoys all the things that come with it like cooking doing what she can to help someone feel better.

There aren't many things in the world Adaline has an opposition to and she finds it hard complaining about things to other people. Shes doesnt really like asking for help unless she absolutely has too or she feels she needs it. She also doesn't like it when people shut her out and she is unable to help them because it's how she shows she cares. communication is her top thing in any relationship so when someone has trouble communicating it can often frustrate her.

Adaline was born to a very rich family and her childhood was full of spoils and she wanted for nothing but even though she was spoiled by her parents she still had a strong sense of independence and often didn't use her things until she felt she earned them properly. She had the life every little girl wished for, she lived live a princess, but all good things come to an end and for Adaline it was when she and her family got into a terrible wreck. Her mother and one of her sisters lost their life but her father and her younger sister managed to survive but barely. Her father had permanent brain damage and was basically a vegetable. Unable to work or get any steady income it wasn't long before her mother's life insurance money ran out and they lost their house unable to afford the property taxes as medical bills from her father piled up. Adaline and her younger sister Anna were sent to live with her not so wealthy grandparents who weren't exactly the most friendly with children but they went terrible. Adaline took on the responsibilities of her mother for her younger sister and it wasn't long before her baby sister would confuse her for their mom. Adaline was determined to get out of her grandparents and take her little sister with her and she did just that. She studied the hardest she took odd jobs and saved up money until she could get a real job. Adaline made straight A's all through school and got a scholarship to some of the best colleges. She saved every penny she made and when she was eighteen and her younger sister was thirteen with their grandparents approval she moved to New Haven Connecticut and became a history major at Yale university on a full ride scholarship. Their apartment was affordable and it gave Adaline the free reiht to only work part time as she attended college witch she poured all her hardwork and effort into. She took up internships at museums and assistance positions and when she graduated college with a 4.5 GPA she was offered a job as a museum curator in new york. By that time her sister was ready to attend college but she wasn't as fortune as Adaline to get a scholarship but Adaline was able to afford it with her new salary along with better doctors for her father that was still hanging onto life, though she had been told she could pull the plug several times since she was old enough to make the decision she refused in hopes that her father would recover. Though she was now making a lot more money she was still supporting her sister who was a little more childish than herself and still hadn't gotten a job while she attend college studying to become a fashion designer. Adaline of course supported her and didn't think twice about giving her the money that she needed whenever she needed it even though it meant she had to take a smaller apartment. As she got promoted and became more successful she found not only her sister but her grandparents asking for money but she never let them ask twice, she stayed happy in her little apartment and gave them whatever they needed as to repay them for the time they did spend there. Her kindness also got her out of several promotions she was offered as she often passed them a long so a coworker of hers could take them. She has told herself she is perfectly happy in her position, it allows her to take care of her family while still traveling a lot but she'd be lying if she said the promotions didn't sound even better than what she had now.
