Naruto couldn't be more excited, today was the day that the baby was due, but he was also terrified... what if something went wrong? What if Sakura was in to much pain. The normal thoughts ran through Naruto as he sat in the waiting room with Ino and Sakura's dad. Her mother was currently holding her hand making him gritt his teath slightly in annoyance. He wasn't allowed in there until the baby was born because there were to many doctors in their because she was such a renowned medic ninja that they wanted to give her the best possible care.

Ino reassured him making him look over in a sigh... she was a few months along with a baby of her own, her and Choji were easily the strangest couple, but since they were happy he couldn't not be happy for them.
Tsunade suddenly came out from the staircase with a warm smile making the three jump up hurridely and waited for a response.
She is doing fine, the baby is healthy.
They all sighed in relief before she looked towards Naruto.

Naruto felt his heart flutter at the sentence. His son... to think he would even have a son..
He nodded his head as they all walked more quickly towards the room where they left Sakura.
Naruto slowly opened the door to see Sakura holding a small bundle with a small amount of blond hair. He smiled warmly... he reminded him so much of his dad. The small little baby yawned and his eyes slowly fluttered open and began looking around slowly. He took a breath in seeing the same emerald green eyes like Sakura's that he went over towards Sakura quickly to get a better look.
He has your unruley hair.
She teased making Naruto grin slightly as he watched the baby.

He said back making her nod before she proped herself up slightly and lifted the baby up.
Do you want to hold him?
Naruto looked up quickly and nodded before Sakura gently set him down.
Did you think of a name?
Shizune asked from the side of the room seeing the little boy look up at his father.
Yes...
Sakura said while Naruto gently held the baby.
Shinachiku...
He muttered making Shizune tilt her head.
You named him after bamboo?
Sakura shook her head slightly before her eyes landed on the baby again..
Strong and sturdy but never alone.
She recited what she thought of with Naruto making him smile. There was another reason, when the two went into that world where they had to escape from the psudo tsyukyomi they had to deal with, they wanted to honor Menma and his family with his counterpart.
Shinachiku Uzumaki... a very fitting name.
Tsunade said as she wrote it down before passing it to a nurse.
Naruto passed Sakura Shinachiku making her gladly take the baby.
He sat down next to the bed and looked up towards everyone in the room.

He grinned making Tsunade nod in agreement before the babe looked towards her and lightly tried to stick his little hands out.
Do you want to hold him shisou?
Sakura asked gingerly making Tsunade look down at the babe who seemed to be smiling at her toothlessly. Smiling herself she lightly grabbed the baby who seemed to look up at her in wonder.
I feel very old you know.
Tsunade mocked the baby making the occupants in the room chuckle at her response.
