Chapter 2: Strange Deaths
Lee Yong Soo pulled up his car at Grasshill Middle school. The building was nested between two ruby cyclone gates, painted in blue and yellow and had two large oak doors. He came out from the car, went to the passenger's seat and opened the door. Lee Min Yin came down from the car and stood beside her dad.
" Stay safe at school", said Yong Soo as he gave his daughter a kiss on her head," I'll see you at one O'clock".
" Bye daddy", replied Min Yin who then turned around and walked towards her new school.
Yong Soo watched her until she disappeared in the building through the doors. He then went back to the driver's seat, entered the car, turned on the ignition switch and drove off.

Lee Yong had to abandon his house duty and drive to a police station. Dressed in a white shirt that had a police badge on it, accompanied with black trousers, black shoes and white socks, he walked into his new office, a big room which had a wooden table, a black rotating chair and a item frame at one side. He sat down and then took a deep breath, getting ready for the day's work.
He was now working as the new sheriff in a local police station in the Nin Xin community. His predecessor got transferred to another community that was forty-three kilometres away. He was about to check his cabinet which was under the wooden table in front of him, when a man wearing a similar wear with the exception of a blue shirt barged in unannounced.
" You're not gonna beli...", he started talking but stopped on the sight of Yong Soo," Hey where's Lang Tur?".
" I'm his replacement", replied a smiling Yong Soo as he rested his back on his rotating arm chair," And you are?".
" I'm Park Min San sir", replied the man with a short bow," I'm guessing you're the new shrieff huh?".
" Yep I am", said Yong Soo in a satisfactory tune.
" But when was he transferred?".
" Yesterday. And what do you have for me?".
" Oh yes", said Min San as he handed a file to Yong Soo," Just received a call from a resident who said that two guys were murdered. These are their photos and information. You may not like what you're gonna see".
Yong Soo took the file and opened. As soon as he saw the first photo, he threw up in a waste bin which had a trash bag in it and was placed near the table.
" What the fuck was that?", he asked while throwing the file on the table.
" It was their remains sir", replied Min San as he took the file from the table," Their internal organs were removed completely".
" You mean all of them?", asked Yong Soo as he spat in the waste bin and cleaned his mouth with an hankerchief from his pocket
" Yep. Hearts, Intestines, kidneys and even the brains.".
" What kind of sick meniac murders people and steal their organs?".
Min San sighed and said," Don't know. Still beats my imagination".
" When were they killed?".
" About to find out sir. Our team has brought their bodies here for research. After that, they're gonna dump them in the mortuary".
" Let's have a look at them then", said Yong Soo as he stood up from his seat.
" You sure boss? I mean you just threw up remember?", asked Min San.
" I won't", replied Yong Soo," Let's go and see what useful hypothesis we can deduce from them".
Both men then left the room, with Min San leading the way for Yong Soo.

During lunch time, Min Yin sat in front of a round table with three other fifth graders. They seemed to be getting along together quite well, since she was good at making friends. They then listened to her as she tells them the legend of the Shin-shus.
" They're just forktale stories Min Yin", a boy among her three friends spoke up after she was through," I don't think those things are real".
" They are Kang Soo", defended Min Yin. She then faced a girl who wore dark reading glasses and asked," What about you Nin Yi?".
" I think I'll have to side with Kang Soo on this", replied Min Yin's only female friend among her three new besties. She adjusted her glasses and added," They're just too good to be true".
" And what about you Tye Shin?", asked Min Yin in a desperate tone as she faced another boy.
" Well to be honest, the story's kinda convincing in the sense that there was really a Japenese king that needed help from the gods and was blessed with warriors that surpassed even that of his whole army", replied a fat Japanese boy," But what happened after the king died if I may ask?".
" Well that'll be all for today. By this time tomorrow, I'm sure you'll all get to hear what happened next", said Min Yin.
" That's okay. It was nice meeting you", Kang Soo said and shook hands with her." I'll have to be going now", he added and left to join some boys passing by.
" Same here", said Tye Shin as he stood up with a smile on his face," Gotta do somethings and later browse out your story to see whether it's true or false".
" Hmm, okay. Good luck with your findings", replied Min Yin as she smiled back.
Tye Shin smiled again and finally left. After that, Nin Yi said to Min Yin," Looks like it's just you and me. Wanna have a girl's talk?",
" Oh yes please!", exclaimed Min Yin in delight.
Just then, a muscular left hand placed itself on Min Yin's right shoulder, startling both girls.
