So Walter's on my side. Good. That makes keeping him alive much easier. However, the golden, holy light from his gauntlet shows God's trying somthing. I destroy the gauntlet with a blast from Antichion.

"What the hell was that for!?!" Walter demands.

"God is our enemy," I explain, "gauntlets are his eyes and ears. We can't use them. We need to move before Issachar arrives." I break the door. We go deep into Naraku, and after defeating the Minotaur and Medusa, we enter Tokyo.

Other me approaches. "What's our play?" He asks, "and why's Walter with you?"

"Long story," I reply, "but we can trust him. Here's the plan. Issachar will likely be going after Fujiwara assuming Navarre can't stop him. Chances are, without a gauntlet, he can only stall. Go with him and help him. I'll handle Lucifer. Walter, when I go to face Lucifer, a powerful demon known as Lilith will get in my way. This sword will kill her with ease."

I hand Walter a spare plasma sword from a previous reset. We go our separate ways.

"So," Walter starts up a conversation as we walk, "how exactly did you get this power? And what was with the other guy?"

"Well," I explain, "God re-created me in his image, but that me betrayed God. As for my power, on my first run, my very first run, I was convinced be beings called "The White" to destroy the world. I destroyed the Yamato Reactor... and woke up as if nothing had happened. So, I sided with God, died, and again, I woke up. That's when it hit me. I had the power to return to that moment, just before I became a Samurai, at will. So, I tried to save you and Jonathan. After a while, I helped Navarre and Issachar get this power. Issachar betrayed me. Now, here we are."

"Could... I get this power?" Walter asks.

"Let's see how the plan goes," I reply just trying to make an excuse. Walter may be under control now, but such an ability would probably go to his head. It's not worth the risk. We reach the Ring of Gaea. We defeat Lilith and Lucifer.

"So what now?" Walter asks.

I hear footsteps. "So," a familiar voice sighs, "you have chosen to betray Mikado."

Jonathan appears with Issachar. Oh shit. This was not what I expected. Issachar is going to be a pain to deal, I can already tell.

"Jonathan," I try to explain, "we simply fell down a pit chasing a demon, nothing more. You're being manipulated by this man. He is the true threat to Mikado."

"He's lieing," Issachar smirks, "I'm your friend Jonathan, and I would never betray your trust. Kill them, for Mikado, for God."

Issachar begins to summon his demons.

"Hoi," Walter tries to talk to Jonathan, "this man's story is true. We were chasing a demon that killed his son. That demon, happened to be Lucifer himself. This man, defeated Lucifer single handedly. I simply tended to lesser demons who got in the way. Walter, Lucifer is dead. The threat is gone. No one even has to know we came to Tokyo. Let's go back."

Jonathan seems swayed was Walter's words, but then asks, "then where is your gauntlet?"

"Lucifer is very powerful," I explain, "the gauntlet was destroyed in the battle. I'm sure that another will respond to him. In the meantime, how did you even get permission to come down here?"

"We were blessed by Gabi," Jonathan explains, "you are unclean now, and must be blessed as well. I'm sure Gabi will clean you of this sin. Come now, it is clear that what you have done is a service to Mikado and God. You have slain Lucifer himself. This is not a time to worry about sins, we can absolve those later. Now, is a time for celebration. Let us return to Mikado and spread the word. The demon king is dead!"

We begin towards Mikado. Issachar is clearly annoyed by this development, but can't kill me without Jonathon turning on him, who has likely been given powerful angels.

"For what it's worth," I whisper to Issachar, "God did want you dead, as you may recall, and when I learned saving you was possible, it became my priority. We can still save everyone. Think it over."

"Feh," Issachar replies, "God is the protector of humanity. I was only to be killed because that would force you to reset. You are a threat to Mikado and God, resetting for your own selfish goals. Watch your back, or you'll get a bullet in it."

Issachar walks back up to the front of the group with Walter and Jonathan, who are chatting and getting along well. This reset will be very very difficult, but if I can pull this off, this is the best run to do it. Walter and Jonathan are still friends, Issachar is alive, and Lucifer is dead. Gabi is next, and the ceiling can then be broken. This could be the run...
