Laksh comes back and finds them having dinner. The three of them looks at him as they hears his footsteps.

"Dadda... Come hele..." says Ishanvi as she signs him through her hand.

Laksh shakes off the worried expression from his face and puts on a smile as he starts moving towards them. He sits with them and starts eating. Ragini was still angry with him because she had to clean the kitchen alone.

"Did you bling my chocolatesh?" asks Aanya as she starts checking his pockets.

"I'm sorry bachcha. Dadda got stuck in some work. I'll bring you many more chocolates tomorrow." he replies.

Aanya pouts sadly at that. Laksh smiles shaking his head as he ruffles her brown hair.

After the dinner, Laksh takes the girls to Ragini's room. The three of them sits on the bed and Laksh starts telling them a story. After a while, Ragini also enters inside the room. She sits on the couch and starts doing some work on her laptop. She didn't even give a glance to Laksh. Laksh chuckles inwardly at that.

"Aww mela babu abhi bhi guchcha hai kya mujhse? (Aww my baby is still angry with me?)" he says looking at Ragini.

Ragini immediately snaps her head from the laptop to him. Laksh instantly turns his eyes to Aanya.

"Alle babu aeshe choti choti baaton pe guchcha nahi kalte. Mela babu to bhot achcha hai na. (You should get angry on small things. My baby is very good.)" he says pulling Aanya's cheeks while his eyes were on Ragini.

Ragini was looking at him already. She very well knew that he was saying that for her.

"Then you'll bling chocolates tomollow? You'll not folget like today?" asks Aanya seriously.

Laksh nods immediately.

"Pakka plomish..." he says.

Aanya giggles as she hugs him. Laksh hugs her back as he caresses Ishanvi's head who was already asleep at his one side. Soon Aanya also falls asleep. Laksh gets up from the bed and kisses their heads.

"Babu, kitchen ganda karne ke liye koi baat karna band kar deta hai kya? (Baby, who stops talking for messing up the kitchen?)" he asks as he comes in front of Ragini.

"No! Stop doing this. Stop talking like that." says Ragini glaring him.

"Kyu? Mele babu ko kuch kuch hota hai kya? (Why? My baby feels something something?)" he asks in a teasing tone while wriggling his eyebrows.

"Laksh! Just stop it. I'm warning you." she says with gritted teeth.

"What if I don't?" he asks as he bends down to her level and cages her in between himself and the couch by placing his hands on either sides.

"Move back!" she says turning her eyes away from him.

"What if I do the opposite?" he asks as he starts moving his face closer to hers.

Ragini's breath gets stuck in her throat. Her body keeps losing it's senses as he keeps on coming closer and closer. She was trying her bestest to keep her feelings in control but with him being around, it is nearly impossible for her. And the fact that he wasn't at fault and he didn't do anything intentionally. He didn't betray her or played with her feelings was also not helping her in controlling her feelings. If he was wrong then it would be easier for her to push him away but now it was very very difficult because her heart can't find any faults in him. She was feeling herself being pulled towards him and his flirtings and teasings from a few days weren't helping either.

"Ragini, did I tell you that you have become more chubby, more beautiful now?" he asks as he brushes his lips on her cheek.

Ragini's forgets breathing for a second. Her heart was running a marathon. She was losing it.

"Laksh, get away." she somehow manages to say.

"I didn't come here to get away without my family." he whispers in her ear.

Ragini looks up at that. His eyes were filled with determination and longing. They were speaking thousands of things to her but she couldn't figure them out.

"I won't let you take Aanya and Ishanvi away from me." she says.

"When did I say that I'll take only Aanya and Ishanvi?" he says as he starts caressing her cheek with his thumb.

Ragini looks at him confused.

"I'll also take their mother with me." he whispers.

"Huh?"

"My aalu will also come with me." he says as he pecks on her head and steps back a little.

"Stop dreaming with open eyes. That's never going to happen and don't you dare to call me aalu ever again!" she warns him angrily.

"Mele aalu ko filse guchcha a gaya! (My baby got angry again!)" he says like a kid.

"Laaaksh!!!!" she says angrily.

"Arre, didn't I tell you that you look like a hot and sexy girl that's why I call you aalu, to keep my mind off the things which I imagine in my head with you? You don't have any idea. " he says winking at her.

Ragini looks at him with wide eyes and open mouth.

"Laksh Maheshwari!" she says gritting her teeth as she gets up from the couch.

Laksh jumps and runs out of the room.

"Idiot pig!!" she says stamping her feet angrily.

Three weeks later.

It was Sunday but Laksh was out of the house from the morning with his bodyguard. In the afternoon, he enters inside the house only to hear some chaos and witness a scene.

"You can't do this with us. I'm living here from more than three years!" says Ragini to the middle aged man in front of her.

"But I'm getting profit from them then I don't mind it. Find some other house for yourself." says the man.

"Are you serious Mr Bose? You're telling her today that you want this house evacuated tomorrow? Really?" asks Arjun angrily.

"I don't know anything. Either leave the house or I'm increasing the rent three times." answers Mr Bose.

Ragini looks at him shocked. If he increases the rent three times then almost half of her salary will go in the rent only. How will she survive like that?

"What's going on?" asks Laksh as he moves towards them.

Ragini doesn't answer him.

"I asked what is going on here?" he asks again but more sternly this time.

"I want them to leave my house." says Mr Bose.

"What? Why?" asks Laksh.

"Because I'm getting a great deal from a party. They're buying the house in great price. I don't want to lose the offer." he tells Laksh.

Laksh looks at the man and then at Ragini.

"Whatever he's giving to you, I'll give the double. I'm buying this house." says Laksh crossing his arms around his chest.

Ragini looks at Laksh with wide eyes.

"Laksh..." she tries to interrupt but he didn't let her.

"Huh..." says the man not believing his ears.

"You heard it right. I'll give you the double money. You may leave now?" he says sternly to the man.

The man happily nods and leaves from there. Just then Naina comes out of Ragini's room.

"Ragini, they fell asleep while playing." she informs Ragini.

Ragini nods while thanking her and the couple also leaves. She then looks up at Laksh.

"What do you want to prove by doing all this? That you're very rich and you have lot of money? That I can't do what you can? You can do whatever you want by using your money and status?" she asks angrily.

Laksh shakes his head as he steps closer to her. He holds her shoulders. Ragini tries to move away but he didn't let her.

"No! This isn't like that Ragini. As always, you're taking me wrong. As a father, it's my duty and responsibility to provide everything to my daughters and I just did one of the things every father do. Till now, you did everything on your own, alone because I wasn't there to complete my part of the responsibilities. And believe me, I'm very proud of you for giving such a normal life and providing everything to our daughters without any kind of support or help. I know you must have struggled a lot for that. You proved yourself a great mother and strong woman. I'm very much proud of my babu. I didn't do anything for them till now but I'll do everything from now on. I can't let anyone treat my family like that. They need to know that my family isn't alone. My daughters aren't alone. They have their father, standing in front of them like a shield. You're not alone. I'm here for you and to be with you. And I'm not proving anything by showing off my money because accept it or not, everything of mine is my daughters'. Everything is for them only, no one else. And you are so innocent. You don't have any idea what all you can do. You're my brave girl. You can do anything and everything you get determined to do." he says patting her cheek with a small smile on his lips.

He was starting her, just her without a word more, like she was the most precious in the world and he didn't want to let her go away from his eyes. He takes one more step towards her. He circles one of his hands around her waist while with the other, he was caressing her chubby face.

Ragini was all the time looking into his eyes, only to see truth, care, concern and honesty. What she missed to see was love. She was listening to him very carefully and his words made her happy and relieved. Till now, did she get a single reason for pushing this guy away from her and her daughters? She knew the answer very well.

"You must be hungry. You didn't eat anything from the morning. I'll bring something for you to eat." she says trying to escape from the situation and him.

His intense stare was making her hair stand at her back. She couldn't handle the intensity in his eyes. It was weakening her senses and captivating her heart all over again. His touch was making firecrackers erupt all over her body. How badly she wanted to lean into his touch and warmness but she was holding herself back. She was alone all those years without anyone caring for her like a family but now he was doing it. He was making her feel wanted. He was slowly taking her loneliness away from her and was making his place in her heart again.

She starts leaving but stops when Laksh holds her hand. She turns to look at him.

"Ragini, now they know that I'm their father and..."

"And?" asks Ragini fearing about what was coming.

"I need to go back." he completes.

Ragini's heart drops at that. From the past few days she was thinking about this only. The girls knows about him being their father and he proved himself. What now? Will he leave? Will he try to take the twins with himself? Or he'll try convincing her to come with him? Lots of questions and possibilities were arising in her mind. He can't stay here with them forever. He has a business to take care of, in the other state. He has a life in that city. He can't leave everything he have there.

She didn't want to get used to of him but she did get used to of him being around her, teasing and irritating her. She got used to seeing him playing with her daughters and pamering them like princesses. Her daughters have got used to of their father's presence and love. From the time he is living with them, she has slept without worries and fear because she knew he's there to protect, that she's not alone. Now she don't check the doors and windows again and again. She don't feel unsafe. With him being there she feels protected and safe.

"Oh! When are you leaving?" she asks trying to hide her disappointment and sadness.

"Tomorrow morning!" he replies.

"Hmm... Okay!" she says.

"I'm scared to tell the girls about it. I can't see them sad or crying. It's very tough for me, to leave them." he says sadly.

Ragini looks at him surprised. He don't want to take the girls with him now? And her? He don't want them anymore? He changed his mind so soon! What happened to his 'I won't go without my family' thing?

"Don't worry! I'll handle them. They'll be fine." she says assuringly, keeping her feelings to herself.

She frees her hand and starts leaving again but stops. She turns back to look at him.

"Saying something is easy but doing it is difficult. Isn't so?" she asks chuckling bitterly.

Laksh gives her a confused look. She leaves before he could ask anything.

Laksh was sitting on the dining table, eating. While Ragini was sitting at his opposite side.

"I'll take care of the monthly bills, school fees and all other things. You don't need to worry about anything. If there's any problem then call me." he says looking up at her.

"You don't need to do that. I was doing everything myself before also and I can do it now as well. I was tackling with every problem myself and I can do it in the future too." she says coldly.

"But nothing is like before now." says Laksh.

"Oh really? What changed Mr Maheshwari? I see everything will be same after you'll leave tomorrow morning." she taunts.

"You don't want me to leave?" he asks hiding his smile.

"No! Who am I to stop you? Why does it matters what I want and what not? Why will you listen to me? It's your life, your decisions. Do whatever you want." she says throwing her hand up in the air.

Laksh smiles inwardly, understanding her anger and frustration.

She gets up from her chair and starts leaving. When she comes to Laksh's side, he holds her hand and pulls her to him that she directly lands on his lap. Ragini looks on shocked at that but not Laksh.

"Maybe, I'll listen to you because for me, you're more than just the mother of my babies. Try asking Ragini. Maybe, I'll listen to you because I..."
