There was an obvious sense of glee and excitement in the air as people rushed around to get the beach ready for the celebrations. The sun was high with no signs of clouds against the clear blue sky, the air sweet and salty as the soft rush of the ocean water gently crashed against the shore.

I could hear people chatter happily outside my tent as I tried to calm my racing heart. I fussed over my dress and smoothed it down, a simple and elegant lace dress with flower embroidery.

To say the least, I was nervous. 

Very nervous. 

I had never been to any one of these before in my life so I don't really know what goes on during these! Just what seemed to be a few months ago, I was watching Attack on Titan on my TV and being annoyed over popup ads! Now I had just surpassed living decades after being a titan in that show and getting married to THE Levi Ackerman.

It took half the year to plan the wedding the minute Levi proposed to me and I was excited as fuck as the girls helped me with everything along with Levi. Of course, I wouldn't leave him out of it. It was a special day for him too.

I never thought I would get married. I swore myself off that after witnessing my parent's own marriage burn up in flames, believing that it was a waste of time and energy. I even swore that my friends would be the first ones to get married.

Now look at me. I'm actually getting married.

I feel giddy all of a sudden, trying to take in deep breaths when I feel the curtain move. "How's my favourite bride to be!?" Hanji squeals out, jumping over to me and hugging me tightly and I just laugh from happiness.

"Nervous and excited! I', worried about having a panic attack from all this adrenaline though." I chuckle lightly and Hanji squishes my cheeks together so I would look at her.

"There's no need to worry! Levi has loved you his entire life! I'm so happy to finally see him actually be happy for once." Hanji smiles warmly at me and I lowkey think that maybe she regained her past life memories.

"He has been focused on his shop too much! He needs to settle down and gimme babies!" I blush red as Hanji cackles and it makes me wonder why I became her friend all over again, including the others.

Oh right, cause I love her.

"Now, are you ready for tonight? You know, for yall's steamy steamy night? Make sure to wear something nice that accentuates your biggies."

"Hanji! Quit it!" I swat her hands off and she laughs out, going to do my hair just as she promised.

"You guys haven't actually done it yet, have you!? Not even in your past life!?" Hanji pries and I shyly shake my head. "OMG! You guys are so cute! Saving yourself for each other!"

"Shut up Hanji, you're going to make her look like a tomato." Mikasa tuts and I thank her as she walks into the tent with the rest of the girls. Each girl was wearing a soft champagne coloured dress, all designed to their own liking. I wanted them to love their dresses and let them go wild with it.

"You look beautiful (y/n)!" Sasha squeals out and I raise a brow at her as I see her hiding a loaf of bread.

"You can eat in here, just don't make a mess Sasha." She grins and happily swallows the loaf in one go.

"Are you ready (y/n)?" Annie asks and I take in a deep breath as Hanji walks backwards to let me see the hairstyle. It was a simple half updo, braids around my head as stray curled locks framed my face as my hair tumble over my shoulders.

Yep, I grew it out for Levi instead of keeping it short like last time.

"You look absolutely amazing." Petra walks in, holding my flower crown of white roses. 

"You can finally rest as the Guardian Titan (y/n)." Mikasa gently puts the crown on me, hugging me tightly. "Thank you for everything." She smushes her cheek against mine and I suddenly feel emotional.

"You guys are too much. Don't make me cry!" I fan my face and the girls giggle.

"Is this where my darling missus is?" I turn around as I see Erwin peek his head, beaming brightly as his eyes land on me. "You look stunning (y/n)." 

"Thank you Erwin. Thank you for giving me away today." I hold his hand and he pats my head gently, leading me outside when the music started. Gabi hands me a bouquet as she and Falco walked down the aisle sprinkling flowers. Everyone was seated and I look up to see Levi in his white suit down the aisle, his eyes wide as he saw me. 

As I walked down the aisle with Erwin, I noticed Levi's eyes tearing up as he smiled lovingly at me. It was the biggest smile I think I ever saw and it brought me to tears again knowing he was so happy.

"Take care of her Levi." Erwin hands me over and I hold Levi's hands as I pass the bouquet to Hanji.

"With my life Erwin." Levi kisses my hands and I blush, as the pastor starts off the ceremony. I couldn't keep my eyes off Levi, seeing the love in his eyes and I break out of the trance as the pastor asks to bring out the rings. Levi holds my hand and slips on the ring above the promise ring, kissing my hand and I slip his ring on his finger.

"Do you, Levi Acker take (y/f/n) to be your wife-"

"-I do. With my whole life, past present and future." Levi caresses my cheek and I lean into his palm.

"Do you, (y/f/n) take Levi Ackerman to be your husband-"

"-I do. I promised myself to make sure you're happy Levi and I will keep that promise." everyone chuckles as we cut the pastor off and I blush in embarrassment.

"Then with the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!" everyone cheers as I gasp when Levi pulls me close, his hand on my waist as the other holds my face. I lean my forehead on his, my cheeks hurting from smiling so much.

"I love you so much (y/n)."

"I love you too Levi." I blush as he leans down and kisses me, the crowd going wild but I was too focused on Levi's lips on mine as he held my face. I couldn't help the tears fall down my cheeks, my arms wrapped around his neck.

"FINALLY! I WAS WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT FOR YEARS!" I jump and turn around to see Hanji screaming and jumping around, talking about her OTP finally getting married as Erwin tried to calm down his wife. Everyone cheered and I lean into Levi as he kisses my head, holding my hand as he played with my ring.

"You are so beautiful (y/n). I don't know what I did to deserve you." Levi mumbles out softly.

"I should be saying that to you." I whisper out, absolutely filled with happiness. "I promise to never leave you again Levi." I kiss him one more time before giggling as everyone went nuts. Mikasa was coddling her boyfriend Eren, Nicolo trying to hold back his fiance Sasha from guzzling down all the food, Annie and Armin simply holding hands like innocent beans as Jean and Connie snuck some vodka while Marco tried to stop them.

This is my family and I won't leave them behind again.
