I groan out as light hits my eyes, diving beneath the blankets and whining loudly from how cold it was. I hug a pillow to my chest when I hear a door open and footsteps coming towards the bed.

"Brat, it's time to get up." I peep my eyes over the blanket, hissing softly when I see Levi drying his hair with a towel.

"You're not wearing your uniform?" My voice barely came out as a whisper and Levi looks over at me.

"Hanji thought it would be best to have a day off for the scouts to recover but I think it's just for her to get over her hangover." I look at Levi all dazed and tired, just nodding.

"Ok."

"Oh no you don't. You are not going back to sleep." Levi pulls the blanket off my head and I slam my face into the bed, covering my head with a pillow.

"Can't I just sleep in?"

"That's all you've been doing. Now get up. I need to change the sheets." I sigh out and turn around before sitting up. I yawn out and rub my eyes before looking up and seeing Levi stare at me. I look at him tiredly as he blinks at me, a blush on his cheeks.

"What?" I mumble out and Levi shakes his head, turning back around to do whatever he was doing. I get up and brush my hair down, knowing that it was a birds nest at the moment.

"Hey (y/n)," I turn around as Levi calls for me. His brows were furrowed like he was struggling to say something. "... thanks for last night." I smile at Levi as he looks up at me.

"It's no problem Levi. You can always come to me if you need someone." I salute him and I leave his office to pad over to my bedroom.

"Hue hue hue, looks like someone had an interesting night." I snap my bed around to see Hanji grinning at me as she held a cup of tea.

"What interesting night? I was asleep." I yawn out, walking into my bedroom to find some clothes to change into.

"Come on! Something spicy must have happened! You're still in your dress from last night!" Hanji squeals out and I sigh, locking myself in the bathroom to freshen up and dress in my hoodie and tights.

"Nothing happened. Levi got drunk." I walk out, carefully putting the dress away on a hanger before turning back to Hanji. "Which is shocking since he has a ridiculously high tolerance. What did you do?" I narrow my eyes at her as she looks away and sipping her drink. "Hanji."

"I may or may not have slipped something into his drinks to try and get you two together." Hanji spoke quickly and I almost miss what she says.

"You what!?" I hiss out and Hanji simply shrugs. "No! Get back here you little shit!" I growl out and Hanji bolts out of my room, laughing like an absolute maniac. I groan out and throw my hands up in the air, turning back around to head to the mess hall. As soon as I walked into the mess hall, I noticed how almost empty it was besides a few groups of cadets sitting together here and there. A lot of the soldiers had taken advantage of the break and went to visit family and friends. I yawn out and head straight towards the kitchen, in desperate need of tea.

"(y/n)!" I turn around and see Sasha skip into the kitchen holding a basket of different flowers and farm-based ingredients.

"What's all this?"

"Historia sent over some ingredients for us!" I peer into the basket as she runs off with some bread in her mouth and I notice some chamomile, green tea leaves and even lavender.

"Maybe I can make some tea for Levi." I mumble out, deciding to brew some lavender tea for Levi's headaches. If he even has any from hangovers. I yawn out tiredly as I walk with a tray of the pot, two cups and a few biscuits. I stand in front of Levi's door and burst it open, ignoring Levi's annoyed face as I set the tray down.

"What's this?" Levi sets his pen down and I raise a brow at how he's already working.

"Bruh, you're on a break. Actually use this day to relax." I pour Levi a cup of tea before pouring it for me. "Plus this is lavender tea. It should with headaches from hangovers." Levi raises a brow at me, grabbing his cup in his famous way of holding it by the rim and takes a sip. He hums softly, leaning back to drink it as I settled my self comfortably on the couch.

I was close to dosing off again, my hoodie tugged over my head as I drank the tea. "Where did you get the lavender from?"

"Historia sent some over." I yawn out, leaning my head on the couch arm.

"Oi, go do something productive. You're going to sleep on my couch." I peer up at Levi, just dead straight looking at him.

"Nah. I'm not on your bed so you can't tell me what to do." Levi sighs out, giving up instantly.

"Thank you for tea. It's not bad." I give Levi a thumbs up and I get up, padding over to his desk in my socks as my curiosity takes over me. I peer over his shoulder to see the paperwork he's so famously busy with.

"What does your paperwork entail for you to be constantly busy?" I read over the words, confused at what they were addressing.

"Why do you want to know?" Levi furrows his brows in question at me and I shrug.

"I want to know why this shit keeps you busy. Like, what do you have to do? I know paperwork takes a shit ton of time. Trust me I know, I used to work in admin for a company that sells things so there are hundreds of folders of paperwork."

"I have to plan strategies for upcoming expeditions with Hanji, send families letters about any cadets either alive or dead, write up reports for previous expeditions and a lot of proofreading for Erwin's past papers along with Hanji's new ones and signatures."

"Doesn't sound too bad." I shrug as Levi starts working.

"Well if you think this shit is easy, then take my work." Levi rolls his eyes and I set my cup down on the coffee table before pulling a chair opposite Levi's desk. "Wait, what are you doing?"

"If I can handle company paperwork, I can handle this. Show me what I gotta do." I grin at Levi, lowkey excited to help him despite his doubtful look.

"This is the first time I've ever finished early." Levi mumbles out in surprise as I set the pen down, groaning in pain before shaking my limp wrist to get feeling back.

"Fuck, how do you not have arthritis by now?" I hiss out, hearing a crack from my wrist and my shoulder as I roll it back.

"You get used to it." Levi looks over the large piles of paperwork that we managed to crack through, even going as far as finishing paperwork due in a couple of months later.

"Erwin is crazy to give you this much work, even from his grave."

"Most of it is from shitty glasses and her ridiculous experiments." Levi downs the last cup of tea and I get up, stretching my back. I sigh out, hearing the cracks and Levi grimaces at the sounds. "Don't do that."

"Now you're free for the next few months! Look at that, you can finally sleep properly!" I grin at the raven-head, ignoring his last remark.

"You're not as useless as a person (y/n)." I roll my eyes at Levi's comment as I pick up the tray and grab the cups.

"It's almost dinner time. Let's go." I nod towards the door and Levi walks over to his office door to open it for me.

"Shorty and shorty's wife! What have you guys been up to!?" I sigh out as I feel Hanji throw an arm around my shoulder while doing the same to Levi as she walked between us.

"Get off me four eyes. And paperwork."

"Awe, I was hoping for something more interesting."

"Hanji." I hiss out at her as she just giggles. Levi and I let Hanji talk our ears off as we walked to the mess hall and I head straight toward the kitchen to put the dishes in the sink.

"(y/n)! Come sit with us!" Hanji calls me over and I shrug, heading towards her table and sitting down on a seat. Levi's old squad was here along with Hanji's squad, all mingling about. It's been so long seeing them that they ended up being lowkey extras since they're alive instead of being dead.

"Here." I jump when someone sets a tray of food in front of me and I look up to see Levi sit down next to me with his own tray of food.

"Awe, look at shorty looking after his wife."

And the nickname got old real quick.

"Shut the fuck up Hanji. I'm getting her dinner that's it."

"Getting her dinner huh?" Hanji wiggles her eyebrows as I just start eating.

"The brat helped me with paperwork." Levi shrugs and starts eating, ignoring everyone looking at him strangely.

"Commander Hanji, what is the plan for the scouts now?" I hear Petra speak up and I realise Erwins dead so the title goes to Hanji now.

"I think the scouts should take some time off to regenerate morale and health before going back out to explore outside the walls."

Nice, some filler chapters coming up then.
