I sob and cry out as Reiss sets up this big machine next to me, a giant needle ready in his hands as he connects it to a pipe going into the machine. I scream out to Historia but she ignores me, listening to her father going on about Frida and the Founding Titan power and how she can eradicate the titans beyond the walls.

Historia, please!

I scream and try to move away from Reiss and Eren starts growling out and screaming at him to get away from me. "Now that power that resides in Eren, but it's wasted with him. The Founding titans might can only be wielded by a member of our bloodline. As long as he remains to be the vessel of that power, this hell will never end."

"Hey hey hey! Wait a damn minute! Sounds like you said that if someone who isn't a Reiss eats Eren, they won't get the powers of the King!?" I look over to see Kenny come back and his eyes narrow as he saw me in tears.

"Yes, that's right." Kenny suddenly goes ballistic and grabs Reiss yelling at him as the needle falls next to my feet. Kenny starts spewing facts to Historia about how her father didn't care about her but Reiss tries to convince her otherwise. I look up to see Eren absolute dejected, his head bowed and I watch as Kenny walks up the stairs to him.

"If she wants to turn into a titan, well that's her choice to make. But I say the boy should be given a fair shot."

"Historia! This is your chance! When you turn into a titan, make sure to consume his spinal fluid!" Reiss goes frantic, shoving the needle into Historias hands before running up the stairs towards me. Historia screams at Eren to defend himself but I was focused on Reiss as he picked up the fallen needle again.

No no no!

I shake my head frantically, trying to pull away when I feel the back of whatever dress I was wearing rip away.

No!

This can't be it!

I howl in pain as the needle is shoved into my back and Historia screams out for me, running up the stairs. "Father! Stop! You're hurting her!"

"Historia! Now is not the time! You must inject the liquid in your body!" My vision starts to get blurry but I try to not blackout as blood pumps through the pipe. Historia screams at her father as she slaps the needle away. I weakly watch as she runs up the stairs to free Eren, Kenny laughing at the drama. I suddenly get blinded by bright light, harsh humid winds blowing against me as Reiss turns into a pure titan.

"What the hell are you doing!?" Kenny yells out as Eren screams at Historia to go save herself. Historia screams as she gets blown back and Mikasa catches her and I know the gang is here.

"(Y/N)! STAY AWAKE!" Levi yells out as he lands in front of me, untying the mouth guard from around my head and pulling the needle out from my back. "Give me the keys!" Mikasa zips over with the keys and Levi gets to work, freeing me. "Just try to stay awake (y/n)! Don't you dare close your eyes on me!" Levi catches me as I finally get free but I was struggling to stay awake from the amount of blood I lost.

"Captain! The ceiling!" Levi carries me to the other scouts, holding me as we all brace against the wall as the pillars start to break and fall around us.

"Dammnit! We'll get buried alive!" Everyone sticks close together as Reiss continues to grow double in size, the heat starting to get unbearable as the wind picks up speed.

Eren starts crying, slinking to the floor in hopelessness. "I'm sorry. I can't. I've been dead weight every step of the way. This power should've never been given to me. I can't be humanity's hope. I'm just too weak."

"Come on. Stop playing the tragic hero. Of course, you're too weak to achieve jack by yourself but no one expects you too." Jean growls out.

"Yeah, calm it down." Connie chuckles dryly. "We've been through a lot more worse than this man."

"Not that I really wanna get used to it."

"Still, it's going to suck to fly through that mess." Connie mumbles out after Sasha.

"I'll take Eren." Mikasa nods and Levi holds onto me carefully.

"(y/n) is coming with me. She's too weak to hold onto anyone."

"It's going to take all we have to not get hit. So hold on for your life." Historia nods as Jean decides to take her.

"It's useless... You know we won't make it-"

"-so we should do nothing!? Wanna sit here and hold hands till we're crushed!? Or till we burn to death!?" Historia growls out at Eren, making him flinch back in surprise. "You know dying here won't make anything better!"

"Listen. I really hate having to do this to you all the time but," Levi mutters out, turning to Eren. "you have to make a choice here."

"Eren." I bend over and pick up the armour bottle and toss it to him. He looks at me as Levi yells, asking what I just did. "You know what to do." Eren nods and runs off, biting down into the bottle as lightning breaks out again.

"(Y/n)! What did you do-No! Stay awake!" Levi growls out but I let the darkness takes over me again.

What is this, the 7th time now?

Fuck my back hurts...

I hiss out as my back collides against something hard when my body is thrown up and comes back down. "Shit-"

"-(y/n)! You're awake!" I open my eyes to see Armin lean over me with worried eyes and I see that I was in a cart.

"Hanji?" I mumble out and I feel someone poke my shoulder, turning around to see her laying down next to me. "Shit, your shoulder." I wince at the blood drenching her shirt.

"Don't worry about me my sweet baby. Hows your-"

"-how's your back going brat?" I turn to see Levi sitting down on the cart next to me.

"Sore and numb at the same time. But I just feel so drained." I mumble out and Levi raises a brow at me.

"Cause you were actually getting drained."

"Right. That." I yawn out, struggling to sit up and Levi helps me. I look over the cart to see Reiss crawling towards Sina.

"Any light you can shed for us about this situation (y/n)?" I look up to see one-armed Erwin on his horse alongside the moving cart.

"Ah, eyebrows. I'm pretty sure everyone knows what's up so far. Reiss was after the Founding titan power in Eren which can only be used at full potential of royal blood like Historia. But the thing is, the royals take on the First kings ideology to wipe humanities memories thinking it's the best way for peace."

"Quite a conundrum huh." Hanji mutters out tiredly.

"But why was he after (y/n)?" Armin asks and I freeze up.

Everyone notices my jumpy state, especially when Levi grips my shoulder. "What are you hiding from us?"

"I'm not hiding anything. More so I was told something that I never knew before..."

"Would this new information affect our future?" Hanji asks and I just look at her.

"No. It won't."

I don't know if it won't...

I let everyone come to a conclusion with the information they were given about Eren's father's motives and the reason he was given the Founding titan power. Everyone comes to a conclusion to kill Historias father and I hear Levi shift next to me.

"Something is on your mind." He mutters out as the others continue talking.

"How did you know?"

"You're too quiet even if you're injured." I look over at Levi with tired eyes and he stares back at me. "What are you not telling us?" Levi whispers and I sigh out.

"I-"

Do I tell him?

"I don't know what I'm about to tell you will do anything to your future but... I'm apparently supposed to be here as the Guardian titan. It wasn't an accident." Levi narrows his brows at me as I frown, recalling what Reiss told me. "Every millennium, a new Guardian titan is chosen, either from this world or from another universe and brought here to protect humanity. I guess I was chosen..."

"You didn't know this?"

"No. No such thing existed when I was watching the show. This isn't right. This... why me? Why was I ripped from my family and brought here? I don't want to be-"

Permanently turned into a mindless titan just to die 1000 years later...

"Don't want to be what?" Levi prods but I shake my head.

"I can't control Eren." I dodge Levi's question and Hanji looks at me in surprise.

"Why not? You can control the other titans."

"The Guardian Titan and the Founding titan are supposed to have the same abilities so they can't use it on each other. They both are at the top of being the more powerful titans. Only difference is, the Guardian titans sole purpose is to protect humanity-"
