There was an uneasy tension in the air as I followed Levi out of Erwin's office when their meeting was over. Eren's incarceration was rescinded and the next plan of action was to try and figure out the other titan spies hiding within the walls. Of course, I knew who they were but I can't just blurt out their names. Yet.

Levi walked quickly out to the stables towards his horse and I wonder if he remembers me settling him beneath his blankets this morning. "Oi brat, let's go." I look at Levi in confusion as he got ready to saddle upon his horse.

"Where are we going?"

"Hanji is waiting for you on the wall. Let's get a move on already." I hesitantly walk towards the onyx horse and it huffs at me. Levi was already sitting on his horse and I scratch my head.

"How do I get on?" My cheeks slowly turn red, realising how useless I am in this world. Erwin would always pick me up like a child and help me on a horse but I never learnt to get on one myself.

"You've got to be kidding me." Levi sighs out, leaning over and easily picking me up before settling me down in front of him. I suck in a gasp as I feel his arms wrap around my waist to grab the reins in front of me as his horse bolts off in a gallop. I shriek lightly at the speed, quickly holding onto the horse's mane and I feel Levi's chest press against my back.

Oh, holy fucking shit!

I turn red, my whole body suddenly focusing on the feeling of Levi sitting behind me as I feel his breath fan my neck. "W-what is your horse's name?" I try to focus on something else other than literally having Levi on me and I hear him tsk.

"Why do you want to know?"

"I'm c-curious. I never figured out his name in the show and I want to hear it straight from you." Levi stays quiet for a moment, the wind howling past my ears as he ran through the streets past various houses and civilians. I turn to Levi slightly behind me to see his brows furrowed in confusion. "Wait, you don't have a name for him."

"What's the point of doing something so stupid-"

"-I'm calling you Midnight." I grin down at the horse, patting it gently and it neighs gently at the name choice as if it likes it.

I hear Levi sigh out in frustration behind me. "You had to call her Midnight."

It's a she!?

Well, I'm not an animal expert.

"Who said I was creative." I shrug, chuckling as I turn back around to watch the scenery fly past me.

It was oddly beautiful, just like in the anime despite the dark atmosphere of pending death. The sky was a bright blue with puffs of clouds wafting about, the sun beating down warmth just over the walls. The sun was like a giant orange ball, casting golden light over the people within the walls.

I looked around and people mingling about on the streets, either selling various items in cute little stalls and shops or doing simple housework. Children ran around playing with each other and adults bundled around ledges with pints of beers in their hands.

"Everyone looks so domestic and peaceful." I murmur out softly, watching a happy family spend time together before I passed them. I whip my head around, trying to get a longer glance of them but they leave my sight just as quick as I saw them.

"Turn around brat. Don't want you killing us." Levi mutters out and I look at him. Our eyes meet for a second and he quickly turns back to looking straight ahead as we reached the walls.

As soon as we got off Midnight and kept her in a barn, Levi grabbed me like a sack of potatoes and zipped to the top of the wall. "SHORTY'S WIFE! MY BABY!" Hanji squeals as soon as she sees me and I quickly back away.

"Hanji no! Hanji down!" I shriek as she body slams me to the floor, almost hugging the soul out of my body. "I. Can't. Breathe!"

"Oops! Sorry!" She picks me up again from under my arms and carries me all the way to the pastor that was being held by other soldiers. "Meet (y/n)! My child that knows more about us and this world than you." Hanji drops me and swings an arm around the pastor whose name I've forgotten, forcefully bringing him closer to me by lowkey choking his neck. "So if you don't tell us what you know about the titans in the walls, I'll happily let you fall to your death and (y/n) here can just tell me. She has secret powers you know."

Hanji is scary when she wants to be.

I shudder as she continues to threaten the pastor by hanging him over the edge but he drones on and on about faith or some shit. "Wait. You said titans in the walls?" I gasp out, suddenly remembering what episode this was.

"Yeah, brat. Why." Levi narrows his eyes at me and I quickly pull up my sleeves.

"Which way did you station the cadets!?" Hanji just points out to a direction and I run towards the edge, pushing a sleeve up.

"Oi! First, tell us what the fuck is going on!" Levi's grip on my arm tightens and I look at him frantically.

"Titans are coming towards them from the south! Tell Erwin! Miche is in trouble!"

"In wall Rose!?" Hanji gasps out and I use Levi's blade to cut my arm. As soon as I hear the familiar buzzing in my ears, I jump off the edge of the wall as the gold electricity surrounds me and I transform. I howl out as reach the ground, a crater forming beneath me from the impact before I bolt off in a run.

"(y/n)!? What are you doing here!?" Connie asks as I peer at the cadets through the window.

"Run." I huff out and Marco looks at me in confusion.

"What?"

"Titans coming from South." my voice gruffs out and Sasha stands up in shock.

"She's right! I can hear footsteps!"

"That can't be right!? That would mean that they broke through Wall Rose!" Reiner exclaims and I nod.

"Jump." I keep my hand against the wall and help everyone down quickly to their horses. "Hurry." I huff out and Christa looks at me with wide eyes.

"You can't stay here! Come with us (y/n)! There's too many!" I shake my head and gently shove her towards her horse.

"Go!" The cadets all hop on their horses and leave with Nanaba and the other leaders as Miche runs off to stop the abnormal running full speed towards the cadets.

"Let's take those fuckers down huh (y/n)!" Miche growls out as I run alongside him and I nod, huffing out.

I need to make sure he stays alive.

I howl loudly and zoom off towards the crowd of titans, jumping up and slamming two down with my feet. I scream out at the titans and they rush towards me, snapping their jaws at me and slam my fist across one in the face as Miche flies up and cuts the nape of another.

"(y/n)! Watch out!" I quickly turn around and see a small titan jump up and latch his teeth onto my neck. I scream out and try to pry it off me, slamming against a random house. I can feel it sink its teeth into my skin and bolts of pain shoots through my body. "Let her go!" Miche growls out, slicing the nape and I sigh in relief as the body drops to the floor. I jump up and land on a roof, crouching as I rub my nape when Miche lands next to me.

The fuck is this dude doing?

Just fucking chilling.

I raise a brow at the one titan staring at me while leaning against another house. "Only 4 of them left." Miche whistles out for his horse and I gasp when I see the Beast Titan suddenly pop up. He looks at me as he walks where Miche's horse was running from.

Fuck he's ugly as shit.

"What! He went for the horse!?" Miche growls out as the Beast titan grabs the animal and throws it towards us.

"Miche!" I quickly grab him and pull him to my chest and turn around as the poor animal slams against my back. I shriek at the power of the impact, falling off the roof and landing on the floor on my back with Miche safe on my chest.

Fuck my back!

I quickly get up and turn around to protect Miche who sat on the floor as I quickly grab the small titan that lunged after him. I growl and grab its face as it bites down on my hand, ignoring the pain and popping its face before throwing it away. I huff out and shuffle back, picking up Miche in my hands protectively as the Beast titan walks up to me.

"Hmm. I've never seen a shifter like you before." Fear swamped all over my body at how big the Beast titan was, flinching as his hand raised up to cup my face.

He could easily pop my head off like I used to do to Barbie dolls!
