I look at Annie, lifting a sharp pen to my wrist. "Please work." I sigh out and slice my arm deep, loud buzzing suddenly surrounding me as heat and gold light engulfed me. I howl out as I open my eyes to see my view taller than the houses and I look down to see that I was in titan form.

Holy shit it worked. Thank god.

I howl at Annie, rushing forward to grab her foot and pin her down to the floor before she could break the underground ceiling or squash people beneath her feet. She growls at me and throws me off, going back to destroying the ceiling to try and get to Eren. I see Mikasa and Armin fly out and I dive to body slam Annie before getting Eren out from the rubble that threatened to fall on him. I grab him and hand him to Armin as he runs off, smacking away the flying boulders that were thrown in Mikasa's direction.

Reinforcements come flying in and I try to stop them but they all quickly get slaughtered like bugs. I gasp out, fury building up inside me and I let out an extremely loud screaming howl. I rush forward and punch Annie in the face, kneeing her stomach and she stumbles back. She suddenly grabs my hair and slams me into the house, the rubble falling onto Armin, Jean and Eren.

"Armin!" I yell out and he looks up in surprise as he and Jean dove for safety. I screech out, seeing Eren pinned under a fallen piece of debris and I flip Annie forward but she lands on her feet and I rush to save Eren, lifting him out of the rubble. I hand him to the boys again and I rush over to Annie screaming at her. I run past and she follows me, quickly chasing me while trying to grab me. I run past a certain house and I see the glint of Hanji's glasses when she fires the grappling hooks into Annie.

She falls to the floor and is trapped under a metal net. "And to think having a Plan C was being paranoid. Erwin you genius." Hanji cackles as she zips down to Annie's eyes, threatening her and I quickly go over to hold her feet down.

"(y/n) what are you doing-" Mikasa gets cut off when I get thrown off suddenly as Annie swings her legs and destroys the cannons.

Shit, I'm still weaker than her!

I mean, my titan form is much smaller than hers and Erens.

She runs off and I hear the loud rumbling breaks through the earth when gold lightning erupts.

Eren.

He howls loudly and I quickly get up to where he was fighting Annie. There was nothing much I could do and let them duke it out themselves. I try to protect the civilians that were still running, catching the rubble and crushing them so they wouldn't hurt the people but Annie and Eren were destroying everything in sight.

I turn around and howl at Eren as he throws Annie against a building and I slam her head down on the ground, throwing her back to him. She quickly gets up in her fighting stance again and Eren charges for her but I see her leg harden in crystal.

I rush forward shoving Eren back as Annie breaks my leg in two and I screech out in pain. Annie swings her leg again and I take the hit for Eren as I get slammed into the building. Annie howls at me and I cry in pain as she breaks my jaw and slams her hardened hand over my head over and over. I blink in and out of consciousness as Eren fights Annie again, getting his own limbs broken before charging after her and body-slamming her into the town square. I slowly get up, stumbling towards the scene and see Annie trying to escape but Mikasa manages to cut her fingers off.

Eren howls and howls at Annie, ripping her nape to reveal her human body in tears from beneath the muscle. I quickly rush forward and shove Eren off Annie's body when blue lightning erupts. I howl out as I try to escape, my titan form merging with the crystal but all I felt was cold cutting pain rip through every inch of my body. My vision darkens and I see Levi flying towards me before I pass out again.

"Ugh, why do I keep passing out?" I groan out in pain as a sharp cold shiver runs down my spine. I shudder and curl up in a ball, my teeth chattering. "Why is it so cold?" I huff out, opening my eyes to see that I was tucked away in a bed. I didn't recognise the bedroom, it looked and smelled far too clean to be my dusty old room.

Is this Levi's room?

Why am I in his room?

I sit up, smelling the lemon scent of cleaner as a warm breeze from an open window wafted through the room. "It's warm outside." My whole body felt stiff and achy as I got up from the bed, gripping the edge to keep me up on my shaky feet. I stumble towards the door to reveal Levi's office empty and dark, only illuminated by the light from the moon hanging in the night sky.

How long was I out again?

I shivered from the cold as I stumbled out of Levi's room, padding down the hallway quickly to emerge outside. I sigh in bliss from the warm breeze brushing over my unusually cold skin, goosebumps rising on my arms. I look up and stare at the star-filled sky, mesmerised by how many there were as I let my feet take me where they want to go. I end up by a tree and I settle down on the ground, leaning against the trunk as held my knees to my chest.

I hiss as I lifted the long sleeves of the shirt I was wearing, seeing the scars and wounds of battle reflected back on my skin. My hands felt cold, too cold that it was almost numb.

What's going on with me?

I try to warm myself up, the heat from the air barely helping to raise my body temperature. It was so peaceful and calm, the sounds of crickets filling the silence as I played with the hem of my pants, glancing at the scar where Annie would've broken my foot.

"What are you doing out here brat?" I jump and turn around to see Levi walking towards me with his eyes narrowed. "You should be resting-whats up with you?" Levi questions me, noticing my body shivering.

"I'm so cold. It was cold in the castle but it's warmer outside." I mutter out and Levi furrows his brows.

"It's not cold in there..." Levi mutters in confusion and I just shrug.

"I think something happened to my body when Annie tried to merge with me. I-I'm being affected-" I shudder out, a spike of cold running through my body.

"Shit-" Levi bends down and wraps his cloak around me tightly, flinching hard as his fingers brushed against my skin. "-you're freezing! Let's go." Levi pulls me back up on my feet and leads me back to his bedroom.

"Why?"

"Just get in here." Levi forces me into his bedroom and sets me down under his blanket, wrapping me up. I shiver, curling into a ball as he leaves and quickly comes back with another blanket, probably from my room. "This should help..." Levi bundles me up and my body finally starts to heat up.

"Thanks." my voice is muffled under the layers of cloth but Levi just nods and heads back out to his office. "Aren't you going to sleep?" Levi turns back around and shakes his head.

"I have some paperwork to finish off. I'm letting you sleep here just for tonight." I nod and slowly drift to sleep. Before I completely nod off, I hear Levi mutter out a few words to me, "You saved a lot of lives today (l/n). You did good kid."

I groan and open my eyes when I get blinded by sunlight, almost burning my eyelids. "Shit it's too bright." I groan out and struggle to open my eyes, peering next to me and almost screaming when I see Levi sitting up on the bed but fast asleep. I wince as his neck was hanging low, his arms crossed.

His neck must be hurting.

I slowly get out from beneath the blankets and walk over to Levi, gently setting him down on his bed comfortably before draping the blankets over him. "Goodnight Levi." I smile before tiptoeing out of his room. I sigh out and head towards mine, locking the door behind me to brush my teeth and change into my uniform. I frown in the mirror as I held the white shirt, glancing at the bruises and marks all over my arms.

I need to hide them.
