Handsome's the Word (Rova)
PART TWO- A Rova Oneshot
Ava's POV
At 7pm, a few hours later, I met Robin outside his room. He was dressed in a white button-up shirt with a black, clip-on bow tie. He was also wearing black pants, and had draped a black blazer over his arm.
He looked so....what's the word....
Handsome. That's it.
Sorry, I'm not used to being romantic.
I was wearing a long, purplish-pink dress- nothing special. And, okay, a little lipstick. I didn't want Robin to think I didn't care enough to put effort into my outfit.
He beamed at me as I approached. That smile could light up the room.
"Ready to go?" Robin asked.
"You bet," I smiled back.
Robin's POV
I did a double take when I saw Ava come round the corridor.
She was wearing a pinkish-purple dress down to her ankles. Her brown hair was immaculate, and her gold, (slightly) high-heeled sandals reflected the remaining rays of sunlight streaming through the window.
She. Was. Beautiful.
She looked at me with those breathtaking brown eyes. My heart was banging so hard, it about to break out of my ribcage.
I pulled myself together and smiled. "Ready to go?"
She smiled back. "You bet."

"How are we going to get there?" Ava asked as we walked down the drawbridge of the Fortrex.
"Well....I hope you don't mind, but... we're going to take the bus. I'm still patching up all our vehicles from the last fight."
"Oh, that's ok."
We reached the pavement and were just setting off down the street when Aaron charged up to us.
"Yo, guys! We are you off to?"
I sighed and Ava rolled her eyes. "We're....going out for dinner." she explained.
"Oh, where to? Wait a second...." Aaron squinted at us, in our fancy get up. Well, if not fancy, nicer than normal.
"You're going on a date together, aren't you?"
"Um..."
"Well..."
"I'm right!" Aaron punched the air. "Robin and Ava sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! Except you won't be sitting in a tree, you'll be sitting in a restaurant...."
I don't know about Ava, but I was blushing like mad. Eventually, my date interrupted our friend's singing.
"Nice singing, Aaron. Sorry, but we gotta go.... bus to catch...."
"Hey, wait up! Can I go with you?" Aaron flung his arms around our shoulders. "I can be the really annoying third wheel!"
"Sorry, but we don't need a third wheel, let alone an annoying one," Ava wriggled out from under Aaron's arm and started down the pavement. "C'mon, Robin."
Unfortunately, Aaron chased after us and kept pestering us for the next ten minutes, begging to come along. Whenever we tried to escape, by cutting down another path or breaking into a run, Aaron would step in front of us, or grab the back of our clothes. It got to the point where even Ava threatening to confiscate his hovershield wasn't enough to make him go away.
"Please, please, please can I come? I promise I'll be good!" the Green Knight pouted and made puppy dog eyes at us.
I sighed, exasperated. Ava looked at me, desperation written all over her face.
How in Knighton were we going to get rid of Aaron?
