PART ONE- A Rova Oneshot

Robin's POV

Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out.

IT'S NOT WORKING!

I'm trying to calm myself down, but so far, I'm still in Extreme Anxiety Mode. I wish there was a switch to turn it off.

And a switch to turn on my courage.

I thought I was ready, but I guess I'm just going to chicken out.

No wonder that bird is on my crest.

You see, I was going to ask Ava on a date.
She is my best friend, and has been for a while. We both go to the Knights Academy, and we're in quite a few classes together. She's so smart. And pretty, with that long, brown hair...

As you may now have guessed, I have a crush on her.
I've liked her for so long, so I decided to finally ask her on a date, and confess my feelings for her. I had it all planned out- I was going to take her to her favourite restaurant (Sugar and Spice - they serve awesome deserts), treat her to whatever I wanted (I would use my life savings to pay the bill), and, finally, escort her to the dock to watch the sun set over the sea together... and then I would tell her how I felt about her. And hopefully hear her say the same thing to me.

But my stupid nerves were messing it all up! I couldn't even approach her without breaking out in a sweat.

I sighed. What to do? I decided I would just have to suck it up and ask her. Nerves or no.

Ava's POV

"A-Ava?"

I was tapping away at my laptop, researching 'How to Get Your Crush to Like You' when my crush in question appeared beside me.

I slammed my laptop lid shut and spun on my chair to face Robin.

"I wasn't doing anything- it's not what it looks like."

"Huh?" Robin blinked in confusion. He looked so cute when he did that....

Don't tell him that, though.

"Oh, nothing....Yes?"

"Um," Robin looked down at his feet. "I was wondering .... if you wanted to, um...."

"...Yeah?" my heart was beating fast. What was he going to ask?

"Doyouwannagoonadatewithme?"

"S..sorry?"

"Do you want to go on a date with me? Oh, its finally out." Robin leaned on the table and breathed out, seemingly relieved, while his face turned as red as Macy's armour.

My face decided to follow suit, and was now turning the same shade.

"Oh, Robin. Yes. I do. When?"

"Really?" Robin looked up at me, a beam spreading slowly across his face. "Meet me outside my room at 7pm!" Then he skipped off. I could hear him whooping and singing as he pranced to his room.

"She said yes! She said yes! She sa-a-aid YES!"

I smiled. I could feel the excitement taking over my body. It controlled me as if it were Robin and I was his Black Knight suit. My foot tapped, my arms waved around, and my fingers clicked. I couldn't believe it! I was going on a date with the love of my life!

 I danced my happy dance all the way to my room.
