Choose (Clay x Macy x Kai)

PART SEVEN- A Clay x Macy x Kai Crossover Oneshot

Kai's POV

We ran up to Clay's room as soon as we got back, but we were blocked from entering by the door police- namely, Aaron and Lance.

Lance held out his hand like a traffic cop. "Hold it right there."

Aaron pulled the door closed behind him. "This area is out of bounds, bro, sorry."

He did not look the least bit sorry.

"But we need to talk to Clay," Macy explained.

"Clay doesn't want to talk right now," Lance replied.

"We want to apologise," I add.

"Well, maybe later," Aaron said. "Right now, he needs some time to himself."

No matter how hard we tried, they wouldn't let us through. They are such loyal friends of Clay's...

Eventually, Macy sighed. "C'mon, Kai. Let's come back later."

Clay's POV

"You're welcome," Lance said as he slid back into the room. "They won't be back for a while."

"I know. I heard you," I  emerged from under the duvet- it had been getting too hot down there.

Lance let out a low whistle. "Jeez, you look a mess. Your hair is tangled, your eyes are red and puff-"

"I get it," I sighed. "I'm going to go get cleaned up."

As I washed my face in the bathroom, I thought about how Kai and Macy hadn't hesitated to come find me. They'd come running straight away. Maybe they really did want to apologise.

Then again, I didn't actually really see why  they had to say sorry. I didn't have the right to be upset. It's not like I'd actually confessed my feelings to Macy. I didn't even know exactly how I felt in the first place. She could go out with Kai if she wanted.

It would just take some time for me to get used to it.

Macy's POV

Clay must really not want to talk to us. He could have locked his door, but maybe he hated us so much right now that he wouldn't even want to shout "go away" at us. Why else would he have two people guarding his door?

Kai and I were in my room, trying to figure out what to do. We didn't have any ideas yet, and I was starting to panic a little.

"What are we gonna do, Kai? What are we gonna do? " I threw my hands up in the air as I paced my room. Back and forth, back and forth.

"Calm down! We'll think of something eventually."

"Well, have you got another idea yet?"

"You could write him a letter. It's more personal than a text or email."

"But he's probably locked all his windows and blocked up the cracks in his door, so how am I supposed to get it to him? He won't take it directly from me! He hasn't left his room yet anyway."

"Ask Aaron or Axl or Lance to give it to him."

"They won't do it! You saw how fiercely they guarded the door."

"How 'bout Robin or Ava?"

"They won't do it either. They and Axl have probably been influenced by the Aaron and Lance."

"Well, then... Kai folded his arms and leaned against my desk. "You don't seem to have any objections regarding the actual apology method, do you?"

"...No..."

"Then we should go through with it. If no one will give it to Clay for us, then one of us will. It will look better, like we're brave enough to face him and our wrongdoings. He's got to come out of his room eventually, and he can't really just walk away if we approach him. Well, he can, but based on what I know about him, he probably won't."

It was this, or nothing. I had to choose.

I breathed in deeply, then out. "Alright then. Let's do it."

Clay's POV

"C'mon, Clay. Just come down for dinner, then you can go straight back to your room." Axl said.

I was sitting on the edge of my bed, thinking. Eventually, I came to a decision.

"Alright, I'll come. Just give me a minute."

Axl nodded, patted me on the back and left.

I stood up, then sat down. Then I stood up again, only to sit down again. I was hungry, but my nerves were stopping me.

I don't know why I felt so anxious. Macy and Kai should be the ones to feel nervous. After all, they were the ones who did the wrong thing.

At least, they thought they did.

I guess I just really didn't know how I was going to treat Macy. Would I give her cold glares, or just avoid looking at her at all?

Or would I tell her that she had nothing to worry about? That it was ok, really?

I think that was the one I wanted to do. I just didn't know how I would go about it, or how it would turn out. I guess that was the cause for my nerves.

But I had to try.

It was this, or nothing. Or, if not nothing, really unfair treatments.

I had to choose.
