I was in Necrozma's room. This was supposed to be a special occasion as a giant monitor was placed above her containment unit, the team wasn't the same, constantly being changed on an hourly basis, I was there in the middle of the room, abandoned as I looked at everyone and everything rushing around me, My eyes constantly gazing at everything around me.

It was breathtaking how far we've come, It has been a few years by now, and I got to see it all happen, a test fire on an uninhabited Island is what everyone finally agreed on. I was the only pokemon in the room that got to watch it all unfold. The seconds going by as the huge monitor was split up into two very different perspectives.

One of them was looking down onto the cannons barrel, looking straight into it all we saw were smoking wires. The other monitor was looking straight at the island from what seemed like orbital view. It was watching it maticulously, as we saw the countdown above the screens stars dropping.  13...12...11...10...

I heard everyone cheer as the countdown continued onwards, it wasnt untill the final 5 seconds that everyone stopped shouting and cheering that they watched the screen.

3...2...1...0

The moment the clock hit zero the lights flickered and the monitor became a bit static, through it all we only saw the right screen lit up in flames as something black and deep purple come out of the static looking picture, the cannon was fired and everyone was silent, watching the inferno fly off into the distance as the camera turned towards it.

Buildings shook, our facility became a bit unstable as the cannon had such a huge knock back. Many of the researchers fell to the floor, others holding on as they saw the island on the other monitor, soon, the strike hit the island.

I was in disbelief.

The island, filled with plant life, vegetation and the beautiful beaches and skies.

Dissapeared.

In its place, a ring of lava spewed forth, the islands trees burnt and shrivelled up with a single strike, blown away as if they were feathers. The water evaporated immediately around the impact zone, the camera zoomed out so we could watch the islands vicinity be burnt up as well. The walls of inferno moving out towards the mainland, the island was no more, I was baffled as I the Southwest side of Kanto was visable, the blown up area was comparable to Kanto's size, if not slightly bigger. Everyone cheered as the cannon was a great success.

I was terrified.

-Present.-

I woke up once more. I wasn't in my room with her anymore, we've been traveling for a hour south of the Citadel. I was carrying her in the cage, my arm slowly getting tired as I continued, she sat there almost perfectly still as she was eyeing me by my side.

"Care to tell me what we're doing again?"

"grabbing my cannons so that I can at least put up a fight before everyone dies."

"and why would that be?"

"After that first fire of the cannon necrozma along with dark matter got freed from my grasp, it took 70 years for me to find them amungst the chaos before I managed to banish them, now I can only talk about things during spicific parts of the day because Dark matter dwells within me, and in a separate dimension."

"You're Insane Ludwig."

"I know I am, but that's just how things worked out."

Our travel continued for a long while, many things about our journey would make us have to take a huge detour if not completely stop us in our tracks.

"Hey Ludwig, ever thought about getting mental help?"

"no, It would actually be a waste of te and effort on my behalf, and it might actually hurt more then help."

"so... How does being a coffin feel?"

"what do you mean by how does it feel?"

"It feels like normal, any ghost type feels like me, as for you... Hmmm... Best way to describe it is to actually just start flying but not moving at all, hover to be more precise."

I said as she just laid down her head and went to sleep once again. I just continued onwards as time passed on like the never ending sand this place had, eventually I started seeing her fur get a bit sticky from how hot it actually was, I eventually rolled my eyes and put her inside myself, plenty of space inside actually, and inside my coffin the heat didn't even reach thanks to the protective coating, making it cool inside, perhaps a bit too much as I felt her shiver a bit.

In the end I decided to keep her in my coffin, the moment I felt that she started waking up I picked up the cage she was in and pulled her out, we reached our destination, the Southern Wall.

It was massive compared to the other ones, troops walking everywhere all at once, some of the troops were training on the other side, I could hear the clashing of metal as almost ten troops were pointing weapons at me, they could have easily spotted me over the distance.

"Hold it right there, The Southern Wall is closed off as of today."

One of them said as I just stayed there and growled, I heard Alexandria yawn once more, and I just looked at them before I knew that confrontation was inevitable.

I pulled out one of my special weapons and activated my soul, some of the soldiers immediately ran down to greet me with weapons, however I looked at the glass sphere before fully charging it with magic and the over flowing it before throwing it towards the wall. One of the soldiers picked it up and almost flung it back to me but it blew up straight in his hand, Alexandria jumped inside of me as I heard the cage sizzle a bit before I grabbed the top of the cage.

"get ready Alexandria... Arcane shift speed!"

I shouted as I felt my face almost turn to mush as I went straight through the wall towards the pokemon that were training inside, one of them tried to hit me with his spear, I slid under him and hit the sand, flinging myself upwards as I hit the secondary wall, I heard a small Crack from I side myself as I felt something warm flow near the bottom of my insides, I quickly lived over the wall and hit two of the guards in the face with my lenlongated arms before jumping over the secondary wall and going away quickly. After a minute of speeding away from the wall I opened my coffin lid and felt energy rush to me once again, but also a crimson red liquid came pouring out as well as 8 saw that Alexandra's front leg was broken almost in two, I looked at it for a few seconds, unmotioning it with my magic as I looked at the wound, It was worse then I though, In the end I had to use my Magic to start repairing the bone first of all, then get her veins to stop for a little while so she wouldn't bleed out and die for me, then put her paw back together and fix everything up. By then end I had wasted twenty minutes, thankfully I stopped most of the bleeding 5 minutes in but I knew she would be in devastating pain for a while and if this went untreated for a while, she would have massive brain damage and later on organ failure thanks to lack of blood cells in her body.

"great..." I thought to myself as I looked around, not seeing anything then just the grasslands and the Sahara behind myself, I started making my way deeper into the grasslands to find water, but I didn't find any for a good while, I felt her body shiver and I immediately picked up pace the forest greenery and the brown bark around us began whizzing by fast. It was obvious that some pokemon were nearby but I didn't care, when I found the nearest water stream I looked around for a dead tree, I tore off the bark and used my magic to turn it into a cleansed wooden cup, slowly I began filtering water from the stream into the cup.

Little by little her spasms stopped, from the initial every three minutes to five, then ten, then it stopped. I felt that she was starting to get better but I wanted to make sure.

My hand went Into my coffin and took out a small bag, I took out one of the vials and saw that it had shattered, another one, also shattered, I rummaged through all of them and found the one I was looking for, the vial was shattered and the bacteriophage inside was leaking out into the bag, I turned it upside down to see if ANY of the vials were not shattered, unfortunately, only 2 vials out of the twenty or so made it through, but one of them was cracked near the top, and the other one had a Crack near the bottom, letting its contents leak out, I sighed as I looked at her, grabbing a small amount of string I had brought along with me for quite some time and began creating a small tent made of sticks and a couple of branches with thick leaves as cover placing Alexandria under it and healing her with magic directly, though, because I couldn't see it I had to personally sence it which made it extra straining on me.

By the time I was finished with healing her I was exhausted the small hut I made was barely big enough for her, I couldn't even get under it as I just laid myself upright and slammed myself into the ground and pulled my arms into myself.

"wha-what happened?" I heard a weak voice ask from under the branches, I only looked at her and saw her already trying to stand in her feet as I just looked at her.

"Don't move... Your paw is broken."

"oh yeah and who's going to stop me from trying?"

She asked a bit irritated as she slowly got up from the ground. And began to slowly walk away. Her front paw was probably something that you might have needed a lot when you're a canine.

"Yeah,good luck, with that pace you wouldn't get far."

"I...dont need to go far you stubborn coffin!" Alexandria replied as I just gave her a chuckle and closed my eyes again, the world around me has changed astronomically, or perhaps it was me who changed, either way, I just looked up at the sky and watched the stars as I felt the presence of another pokemon amung us, I quickly got up and looked around, nobody.

"Someone is nearby..." I said as my arms shot after Alexandria and I threw her under the makeshift tent and got into a normal fighting stance, something that was odd for Me, I never faught head to head before, however relief came over as I saw a familiar Alakazam approach us.

"Bazalt?"

"Ludwig? W-what are you doing here?"

"I can ask you the same. Bazalt, but for me I'm fleeing."

"oh,and where too?"

"South of here to the maw."

"Alright,he's here boys."

Bazalt said as his body became a tiny bit disoriented and a Zoroark took his place instead, a small pack of Zoroarks all wearing iron gauntlets. These were the fabled illusionists of the Dunes, I only got ready to strike as three of them already began approaching me.

"I hope you all know who your facing."

"we do."

The one on the leaders right stated as they kept on approaching me, I only smirked as I gave them a taste of my medicine, The moment one of them jumped at me, I threw some dirt in his face and twirls up two of my arms into a coil and clutched my palms into fists as I uppercuted the first Zoroark, barely anything was dealt to him but I did send him flying back a few feet as the other two took a look at him and proceeded to continue.

"Its over Ludwig, Bazalt has been caught and we know where you're going."

"well, good play by you guys, however what you didn't notice was the mienshao under the makeshift tent!"

one of them turned around to look and I blasted the other one with a will-O-wisp to the face, making him back off a bit before the one that looked away charged at me.

" You'll Pay for your tricks!"

" You'll pay for containing me."

I replied back as I couldn't get a hit on this one, obviously he was on edge already and only began clawing at me with shadow claw, I blocked almost all of his attack as he surprised me by using dark pulse at almost point blank. However he was denied that as well as I let off a small burst of Arcane magic, throwing him back into the tree from the explosion around myself and the ground around me also was blown to bits.

I only saw one of the Zoroarks helping Alexandria for a second as he was trying to slip away, I threw a ball of my magic at him that almost exploded like a grenade near his head. He flew a few feet back towards me as he dropped Alexandria and she came crashing down into the river, I grabbed her and held her up to myself as I was about to go and grab the other Zoroark I saw at least a dozen pair of eyes staring straight at me, I slowly backed away as there were 8 Zoroarks a bit less armed then the previous ones, but the final pokemon in the group was a Magmorter with a cowboy hat that was reminiscent of lava. The hat had a yellow star on it, from the hat came a chain on the side with a mega evolution stone on it. I knew I was going to be fighting sherif Garrarupt who wasn't a joke, especially If I get into a long range duel with him.

I quickly turned around and fled for my life. He went to persuit me and Alexandria, but I only looked back to see him having a hard time catching up, the Zoroarks however weren't having trouble and they managed to close the gap between us easily, only after I shot three of them in the face with will-o-wisp did the rest get the memo of being burnt if you get close.

However they soon began using dark pulse, my special way of beating this was simple, dodge.

I fleed from the pack for about 2 hours before they began showing signs of exhaustion. I was also exhausted a bit as I finally reached the top of a hill, only to see the shoreline from there, however I saw Garrarupt on the small connection line between Savarein territory and between Southern Battalonia.

"heh... Alexandria, I'm sorry but I'll probably have to let you off, It was nice travelling with you, but all things must come to an end." I said as I approached Garrarupt and opened myself and took out Alexandria, who was actually sleeping up to that point.

"well well well, looks like I out tricked you Ludwig. I must say that you were smart back then, not so much now."

"heh,actually only you lost... I can easily run for about 8 hours, your little pack of Zoroarks seem to be on the verge of collapsing however."

He only looked behind me as I did too, most of the pack collapsed right there and then, a couple of them dragging others as they approached slowly as if they were weighed down, all in all only one came face to face with me again, and it was the main leader of the pack back at the river.

He was growling as he bared his teeth at me, ready to strike again, Garrarupt held both his cannon hands at me as I teleporter Alexandria out of the soon to be Frey. However it would only last a few seconds as I saw them charge up their attacks, I looked between the two of them as I felt like they were going to blow each other up if I moved out of my way, however that wasn't an option, I held out a pair of my hands towards the two, getting ready to reflect any attack that they would throw at me.

The sun was setting behind Garrarupt as the hill behind the Zoroark swayed, the lush green grass breezing in the wind as darkness fell upon it, and I saw it again, The terror that I saw that day. The day I realized my true purpose in life.

"FIRE!" Is what got me out of my transe as the Zoroark fired a dark pulse at me and Garrarupt fired a flamethrower, their attacks made the earth shake, Garrarupt from rage, and the Zoroark tried with a desperate attempt to redeem himself in front of Garrarupt.

I slowly let go of myself as I fell backwards feeling like their attacks slowly approach me, when I hit the ground I only heard the explosion as both attacks collided, The Zoroark rushed at me once more as Garrarupt fired another flamethrower from his other cannon. This time the flames hit me, I only felt the burning sensation on my coffin as I fired my Arcane magic, It was almost a lightning bolt, it hit the ground near multiple ends before I hit Garrarupt right on his hat, and blew through it and exploding right on his forehead, making him fall back a few meters before I felt the shadow claws pierce through my coffins exterior and slash me on my back, I almost fell forwards but I turned around in the air and managed to uppercut the Zoroark in the jaw, and that little time he lost was enough for me to grab him by his ankle and charge a point blank Arcane spike to his forehead.

I only saw him fly back as well as purple electricity shot through his whole body and the grass, scorching it slightly as a couple blades of grass got sliced off the ground.

"poetic." I heard behind myself as I was blasted in the back and scorched, I only heard the footsteps approach me as Garrarupt was approaching me with his cannons held up against me, I only looked at him with a single eye as I felt defeated for a moment, before I recalled my trick, I layed down.

"Well, you got me Garrarupt... There. You got me good this time, anything you wanted is now... Nothing!" I replied as his steps towards me stopped as a small black hole appeared behind in my coffin as I smiled wickedly.

"Hands of the puppeteer!" I shouted as he tried backing me off but was hit with five fists landing on his body, some more damaging then others, but he was knocked out cold for the time being, the Zoroark got back on his feet and rushed at me, I was already feeling beaten as I closed my eyes and only heard his footsteps rapidly approaching me.

I felt my blood fly through the air as he hit me with a dark pulse dead center on my back, feeling myself fly forwards and hitting the corner of my coffin, making me spin sideways as I spun through the air until I slid on the grass a little, blood spilling out in a line as I got back up and saw the Zoroark running at me with a shadow claw, I only acted by instinct and opened my coffins lid, letting him run straight into me and my jaw, my serrated teeth somewhat crunching down onto his whole body before I spat him out, seeing his body have multiple dug in wounds, he only got up as his whole body shook. I slowly backed away from him as I looked him dead in the eye.

"I'll leave with Alexandria this instant... Alone, and I'll let you off with everyone except me and her. However, refuse and I'll slaughter every single one of you!"

I shouted as he chuckled as He just looked at me as he stood up, laughed in my face and pulled out his claws.

"I'll take death, You killed so many that you're more then just a mere mass murderer, you're a demon spawn! Someone who's destroyed nations and killed millions!"

He shouted as I got bored of his shouting and just knocked him out instantly with and Arcane spike.

" Okay, fine, If you think so little of me I'll let you live, I'll make it a suprise for you however and let your clan maybe rest up in a better place.. Now I... Just... Oof man you guys are heavy"

I said as I brought out my hands of the pupeteer and got them to a nearby shallow cave, only a small fire place was there that only consisted of stone lined up in a circle with Ash in the middle, an adventurers post.

I slowly looked at the nearby cave I set everyone inside in and slowly transformed some of the nearby stone into wood, feeling my energy sap away slowly as some of them woke up, but I felt them cower in fear a little as I was using my Arcane magic, I presumed they got what happened to their presumed boss or bosses and just let me do my thing, as I finished the fire I grabbed Alexandra's cage and started going away from the group, leaving them behind to rest a bit, keeping a couple of my hands behind my back so that if they did try to ambush me, I could easily counter with what little power I had left.

"Why are you like this Ludwig?"

"Like what?"

"Like what you were back there?"

"Oh, why I spared their lives? Easy, life usually gives back what you gave it one way or another, even though I'm considered a monster, even monsters have a heart and soul, you just have to know them."
I said as she just looked at me as I looked back down at her.

"You know what, Imma keep you hostage but I think I'll take this stupid cage off of you."

She was stunned as the cage around his dissapated and I caught her in one of my hands, slowly petting her as I continued onwards.

She didn't take too kindly of course, growling a bit as I felt her bite my fingers once or twice, I only ignored it and kept on petting her, eventually she just gave in and let me pet her to my desire, we kept on walking through the small land that was the bridge between the two nations, of course I knew I was going to be met with resistance. The chain archipelago was a place where spices were cultivated, and from what I believed, they're still a highly valued market.

"I have to admit... That fight took its toll on me." I whispered as Alexandria looked up at me and stopped growling.

"then why did you fight, why didn't you flee like-"

"like a coward? Because I'm not a coward. The cowards are the ones that refuse to listen and acknowledge that impending doom is going to come if I'm not around, Since Everyone failed the test, nobody is as powerful as I can become." I stated as she seemed to just shiver a bit, however I slowly started infusing my hands with my power, letting my energy go through her muscles, loosening them a bit as if I was giving her a massage, I didn't really feel like being a captor anymore, rather, I just wanted to finally be free for once, seventy years was enough time for me to stay inside a cooped up cell with only a Library in view.

As I slowly continued we reached the first plot of land the new nation had. I didn't have the energy to move on, and the sight was beautiful. The whole place was reminiscent of Kanto, cherry blossom trees were planted with some pecha Berry trees through the area, both fruits were growing abundant on the trees as the island wasn't that big at all. It had fifty or so trees almost clumped together. On another island very close nearby was a small wooden hut with a small garden growing Rawst berries, I slowly began approaching the house as some of the waves hit the side of the island splashing onto my coffin a bit, and hitting Alexandria who immediately jolted awake, she quickly got out of my hands and ran for it. I really didn't care that much anymore if she left or not, she had her own will and I didn't need her hostage anymore.

As I approached the wooden house I saw a Lucario and a Zoroark come out of the house, both of them seemed rather old for their age. They waved at me before I approached, both of them just walking up to me and then backed away as quickly as they could.

"I-Its Ludwig!" The Lucario said in a femanine voice as I just sighed and walked up to her and grabbed her by the shoulder.

"Mam, may I help you with something? My name isn't Ludwig but Dersza."

"Y-You aren't Ludwig? But you're so reminiscent of that freak... Excuse my Language." She said as I went along with my name change, even though I personally felt quite hurt that she called me a freak I didn't feel like fighting with an old lady over Ludwig's intentions and such.

"I see that most of the harvest here isn't picked at all."

"well,yes...our grandkids are way too busy nowadays and our last child moved to Veszpasia a few days ago, and we were left here alone."

"uhmm,would it be a problem if I picked them for you two?"

"Oh, I'd be grateful, my powers have been waning over the years along with my husband's, we can really move as fast or as much as we used to."

I smiled and nodded slightly before going over to the trees and slowly picking the berries, pulling out the box the vials were in and I fully pulled it apart and put the berries on it as if it was a massive plate, slowly I picked off the entire orchard in an hour or so and brought it back to the family of two.

This was something I could live with, but it slowly dawned on me that even if my goal of killing my last target, I still couldn't have a life like this of solitude and solem peace. However with how undignified I currently am, I wouldn't even stand a chance.

I slowly brought the fruits back to the Lucario who already was looking at me, inspecting my every move as the wind blew on me a little, I of course didn't really get to feel it but rather saw it as the Zoroarks lush hair blew in the wind, untied any longer.

I placed the box filled with berries onto the table and sorted it out for them.

"I know your Ludwig, don't lie to my wife, and get off our property."

" I'm not Ludwig. I'm Dres-"

"Your Ludwig... I can remember the face of the one who took my sons life." He said as I froze in place.

"What was your son's name?"

"Does it really matter to a beast like you? Tell me now... DOES It?" He yelled at me as I looked down at him.

"yes... Yes it does." I replied as he just stared at me.

"Light... Lightseeker." He said as I somewhat remembered the name from somewhere, but I couldn't remember where.

"May his soul rest in peace with the rest, and be given mercy by Arceus."

"Mon like you shouldn't have the right to speak of the God above us."

"Well I am, what are you going to do about it huh? Do you think I kill because I want to? Killing isn't my hobby, I'm forced to do it because I'm a slave to someone greater then Arceus herself!" I responded as for the first time I raised my voice in a very long time, seeing the Zoroark back off a bit and the Lucario pulling him away from me in horror.

"Besides, Nobody gets my situation... It was either I took the blame for killing many but having a chance for every to survive, or let our world Die to my master."

"Dre-"

"Ludwig...just call me Ludwig mam... I don't deserve to be called a name I'm not."

"Tell me... We don't have many more days left to live... Tell us why you did this."

I sighed as my cold breath could be seen as I looked at the sun shining on the horizon, reflecting their rays onto myself, giving my golden coffin a slightly darker tan, almost like a massive field or rice.

"Way back when, I killed a fusion between two godly creatures. Necrozma and Dark Matter, their fuel source is pain of any kind, and their goals are the same... To kill us all."

"I know that they can come back that way... But why are you helping then?"

"because I'm not going to live forever. And neither are the few pokemon left that can aid me. I'm racing against time to bring them back so I can seal them away properly, because If I can't... A cycle will start that nobody can stop. Not even our gods."

"then tell me... Why haven't you just given up?"

"b-because...because..." My mouth already barely opened as my tears were running over my lips. I just stayed silent as I looked down at the grass for a few seconds, sniffing and wiping the tears away as the Lucario inched forwards towards me.

"Because of a vow I made to my Love who I lost because of them... I'm going to take revenge not just onto Necrozma, but after My goal is over, They can do whatever they want to me... I know the pain I caused to this world, and that's just unforgivable in my eyes, regardless of what you think." I said as I put my hands over my eyes, just not wanting to see anything anymore, I however slowly felt like I was pushed back slightly. I only pulled my hand away from one eye and saw the Lucario give me a hug.

A hug of acceptance...

"I can't relate to you... But I can only imagine what you had to go through... But are you truly insane?"

I heard her ask as I slightly pushed her away and but still had my hands on her shoulders as I wiped my tears away.

"A truly insane person thinks they're normal... I'm a bit insane and I know it... But I'm not a madman... I know the limits. But I am dancing on the edge."

"Well, I doubt Darkness would have a problem with you staying over for a single night you seem... Beaten."

"Dont mention it... I was beaten down as I came this way." I replied as I just finally collapsed onto the dirt, slightly turning towards the sun and settling myself down, hearing the wind go through the Cherry and Pecha Berry trees, rustling their leaves in front and around me as I just watched the sun's rays slightly on me.

"Its been a while since I got to enjoy the sun like this." I said as the Lucario looked at me before slightly smiling. Turning around and then walking back into their house with the berries I picked for them. I only heard the Zoroark named Darkness knock on my coffin lid later, the sun had already set and I got to look up at the stars for the first time in seventy years. I just watched all the twinkling lights, the galaxy's and the golden vial in the sky with different colored stars twinkling in it.

"wha-what is it?" I asked quickly rubbing my face so I was awake and got myself up from the dirt as I looked at him.

"My wife made dinner, more spicifically pecha Berry pie."

"Heh...wait,why is the wind blowing yet I can't hear it... Same with the water... And I feel like my hands are... Cold....colde-" I stopped as Shadow looked at me, backing away slowly as I charged myself with Arcane magic and blew up the island that was in my head.

I slowly opened my eyes as Shadow was still there, a few paces away from me in shock as I looked at him.

"Never, And I mean NEVER put me in a false reality... I can easily distinguish the differences..." I said as I looked up at the sky. Unlike previously, it wasn't that gorgeous, but the stars still shined, Still, I liked real things better then illusions.

" I knew it... You came here to destroy our quiet sanctuary... Now begone!"

"Honey! I told you not to play tricks on our guests! Even if that's Ludwig!" The female Lucario siad as she walked up towards me whilst Darkness went back into the house.

"I'm sorry Ludwig, he can get a bit... Upset at times."

"well, I think I got the memo... Anyways... Thank you for giving me food, but I don't want any."

"Are you sure? You seem to be starving to me." She said with a chuckle as I just looked at her.

"uhmm... What's your name if I may ask Mam?"

"Oh,I didn't introduce myself yet? Guess old age really took its toll on me. My names Victoria."

"I guess I should tell you my full name then... My full name is Ludwig Reparon. Actually... Now that I think about it, I'll have some Pecha Berry pie... Only if I can do something to the two of you."

He upbeat self went away as she looked back at me.

"were not going to be partaking in your ludicrous experiments... We know that you cut up ot-"

"oh no no... I'm not going to preform a procedure like with my cancer patients... I want to... Hmmm.... How do I say this... Revitalise the two of you a bit."

"what do you mean?"

"Simply put, I can reverse the damage your body took over the years... If you'd want I can make you younger."

"by how much? If you can get us to look like teenagers, we won't even accept it." She said with a small laugh before I snickered a bit.

"as you wish."

Omg... What can I say except... "This was one of the best chapters I wrote to this book so far, and I'm Extremely happy as to how it came out.
