Today has been a relaxing Sunday at the Shepherd-Aguiar household!

Currently, Benji is playing Animal Crossing, Theodore and Harlow are having a tea party and Coralei and Averie are playing with their Barbies! Luca has been clingy to Will and RJ all day because he has been teething.

Will and RJ are cuddling on the couch together with Luca watching Cocomelon on Will's iPhone. Luca managed to take a small cat nap today which was good since he didn't sleep well the night before.

Averie and Coralei happily walk over to RJ and Will, wanting to talk to their Papi and Daddy.

*Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca's outfits*

"Hi, girls!" RJ says with a cheeky grin.

"Hi, Cora and Avy." Will says with a smile as he plays with Luca's hair.

"Hi, Papi and Daddy!" Averie and Coralei both say in unison with big smiles.

"Daddy! Papi! Can we go get some frozen yogurt? Pleaseeeeee!" Averie says with a little pout.

"Yes, Daddy and Papi! Please! Please!" Coralei says as she also pouts.

"That sounds yummy. Does that sound yummy, Luca? Some frozen yogurt? Mmmm!" Will says as Luca smiles and claps his hands.

"Yummmm!" Luca says with a giggle.

Luca really loves yogurt, it is one of his favorite sweet treats.

"Let's see if Benji, Harlow and Teddy want some too!" RJ says as Coralei and Averie both get excited.

RJ stands up and him, Coralei and Averie all walk to the playroom where the younger kids are still playing tea party, while Benji is on a chair with the Nintendo Switch.

"Hey, guys. Do you wanna go and get some frozen yogurt?" RJ asks with a smile.

"YES! I love dat!" Theodore says with a big smile on his face, and Harlow jumps up and down.

"Yeah! Fro-yo! I gonna get spwinkles on mine!" Harlow says as she squeals with excitement.

"Yes, please! That sounds like fun!" Benji says, while he saves and turns off the game he was playing.

"Let's all go and get it!" RJ says and goes back to where Will, the dogs, Coralei, Averie and Luca are.

Everyone gets their shoes on, say goodbye to the dogs and head to the car, discussing what flavors they'll all choose!

"My favorite is mango! Or s'mores!" Averie says happily, playing with her Barbie in the car so she doesn't get bored.

Luca, Harlow and Theodore also all have toys to play with on the way there. Luca is biting his toy.

"I think I'll get pineapple! And Luca might like chocolate!" Benji says and giggles at his baby brother.

"I think so, too! He looks like he is teething again so frozen yogurt might feel good for him." Will says and grins.

"I want strawberry!" Coralei says with a cheeky grin.

"I think I'll get s'mores!" Averie says as she fixes her Barbie's hair.

"I'm getting pineapple!" Benji says as he fixes his glasses.

"What about you, Teddy? What are you going to get?" RJ asks Theodore.

"Chocolate!" Theodore says as he smiles.

"Ooo, that sounds good, Teddy! You and Luca are going to get the same thing!

"What about you, Harlow?" Will asks Harlow.

"Vanilla!" Harlow says happily.

"Mmmm! Vanilla sounds good! That's what I might get!" Will says happily to Harlow.

"Yeah! I love vanilla!" Harlow says and bounces up and down in her car seat.

RJ smiles while her keeps driving to the frozen yogurt shop!

"I'll get lemonade flavor!" It's not as sweet." RJ says and Theodore giggles, thinking that's a funny flavor.

"Lemons are sour! SOUR!" Theodore says and drives his toy car across his lap.

"There are a lot of options and of toppings too!" Will says with a big smile at the kids.

"I want fwresh fruit on mine!" Harlow says like a princess.

"Me! Too! Me! Too!" Luca says and shows his toothy grin.

"Good job talking, Luca! You are a big boy!" RJ says and glances at Luca he ouch the rear view mirror.

"I would like boba pearls on mine! I like how they burst in your mouth!" Benji decides with a smile and giggle.

"I want pretty sprinkles!" Averie says with a smile.

"Ooo! I want those too!" Coralei says as she smiles.

"Do they have chocolate chips?" Theodore asks RJ and Will.

"I think so, bud!" RJ says causing Theodore to cheer.

After a fifteen minute drive, they have made it to the frozen yogurt shop!

"Let's get our masks on! We can take them off when we get back in the van." Will says as he puts his mask on.

RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow put their masks on. Luca is too young to wear a mask still.

Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca all get out of the van and walk into the frozen yogurt shop!

Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow happily grab a small bowl to put their frozen yogurt in!

Will grabs a bowl for himself and Luca and RJ grabs a bowl too!

"Luca, come here! Look! Here is the chocolate!" Will says happily at Luca.

"Ooooo!" Luca says as he stomps his feet playfully.

Theodore gets his chocolate yogurt in his bowl first before Will fills up Luca's bowl.

"Eat! Yum!" Luca asks, making grabby hands to the cup with yogurt.

"We have to wait! We pay for it first, and everyone needs to get theirs first!" Will explains to the toddler.

Luca frowns but soon smiles as he dances to the music.

All of the kids get frozen yogurt in their cups, RJ and Benji helping anyone who needs help.

"Time for toppings!" Coralei says in a playful voice and Harlow and Averie both cheer excitedly.

"You guys can each pick one or two!" RJ and picks up Luca because he was wandering all over the shop.

Luca gives RJ a kiss on the cheek and laughs when his Papi makes funny faces at him.

Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all begin to put toppings on their frozen yogurts!

"Do you want any toppings, babe?" RJ asks Will.

"I'll take a few pieces of fruit. Thank you, baby." Will says happily as Luca hugs Will's leg.

"Daddy!" Luca says as he smiles up at Will.

"Hi, baby boy! We are almost done! I know you want your frozen yogurt." Will says as he rubs Luca's head.

"Yeah!" Luca says with a cheeky smile.

After Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and RJ put toppings on their frozen yogurts, it is time to pay.

Will pays for all of the frozen yogurts and they all leave the frozen yogurt shop.

Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca all sit down at a table outside and they all begin to eat their frozen treats!

"Mmmm!" Luca says as he begins to feed himself which is something he has recently learned how to do.

"You are making a mess!" RJ says playfully making the rest of the kids giggle.

"He is but he is a big boy learning how to use a spoon!" Will says with a big and proud smile.

"Yeah! Ig boy!" Luca says and grins with chocolate all over his face.

"Yay, Luca! Good job!" Averie says proudly, understanding that it's a big milestone for babies to be independent like that, especially with Luca being born premature.

"Mmm, mine is SO yummy!" Theodore says as he takes a big bite of his own chocolate frozen yogurt.

Benji takes a few bites of his treat and even shares with Coralei since she wants to try some pineapple with boba pearls!

RJ tries some of his own yogurt, smiling when he discovers how it tastes.

"That's a little sour, Benji! But it's good!" Coralei says and her big brother nods happily.

"I know! But Papi's is probably more sour, his is lemonade!" Benji says with a laugh.

"It is! But not to me!" RJ mentions, watching how Luca is leaning over to him, wanting to try some!

"This is sour, baby boy! You can try it but you might not like it." RJ tells Luca, offering a spoonful of the yogurt to the baby.

Luca takes a bite and makes a funny face at first, but then smiles and points to the cup.

"More, eeee!" Luca asks politely, even though he likes the chocolate one just as much!

"You love sour things just like Papi, huh?" Will says as Luca giggles.

"Ya!" Luca says as he claps his hands.

"Mmm! That's yummy huh?" RJ says feeding Luca another bite before Luca begins to eats his frozen yogurt again.

Harlow gets some yogurt on her shirt, making her pout a little.

"Uh oh! It's okay, baby! I can fix it." Will says as he manages to get the yogurt off of her without a big stain on her shirt.

"How many days until school starts, Papi and Daddy?" Theodore asks RJ and Will.

"I don't know how many days exactly, but you all still have a few weeks of summer left!" RJ says causing Theodore to cheer since he loves summer.

"Are you guys excited for school?" Will asks Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow.

"I am so excited! I'm going to be fifth grade!" Benji says with excitement.

"I can't believe that you are going to be fifth grade! One more year of elementary school!" Will says as Benji chuckles.

"Don't be sad!" Benji says making sure Will isn't sad.

"I'm not sad, don't worry! All of you are just growing up so fast." Will says with a grin.

"I'm going to be in first grade and it's going to be fun!" Coralei says happily.

"And I'm going to be in kindergarten! Big kid school!" Averie says as she giggles.

"I'm in pre-k and Harlow is in preschool!" Theodore says happily.

"That's right, Teddy! You two will be in the same school while Benji, Cora and Avy will be in the same school!" Will says with a smile.

Harlow cheers with her mouth full of yogurt, excited for preschool! Harlow had fun last year in Headstart! Harlow is also happy that Teddy will be in the same school.

Averie smiles and finished her frozen treat and Coralei also finished eating.

"I can't wait to see my friends! They're fun!" Theodore says and takes a big bite of his yogurt.

Will takes a few bites of frozen yoghurt, even though Luca keeps shoving his spoon against Will's spoon to get more.

"Silly boy! I would like to eat some, too!" Will says playfully, though he didn't mind too much.

Will knows that babies and toddlers always steal your food, no matter what!

"Papi, wook! My spwinkles are meltin'!" Harlow says and giggles, finding it hilarious.

"You better eat it before it turns into rainbow soup, then!" RJ says jokingly.

Luca starts to try and dump out the frozen yogurt from the cup, though Will luckily stops the big mess.

"You are being sneaky! It must be the sugar in you, huh?" Will asks and they kids laugh at baby Luca, trying to cause trouble.

Luca giggles and smiles at Will and RJ.

"Daddy! Papi! I know what I want for my birfday!" Harlow says with a big cheeky grin

"What's that, Harlow?" Will asks Luca as he wipes off Luca's mouth.

"A baby sister!" Harlow says as she smiles ear to ear.

"Yes! We need a baby sister!" Averie says as she and Coralei cheers.

"No! A baby brother!" Theodore says to his sisters.

"Baby!" Luca says as he claps his hands as he continues to eat his yogurt.

"Daddy's body needs to rest from babies." Benji says even though Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca don't understand what that means.

RJ and Will laugh a bit, but try their best to explain to the younger kids.

"A baby for a birthday gift is a big wish. You would get a very late birthday present!" RJ says to Harlow.

"Dat's okay! I'm good at waiting!" Harlow says, which makes her parents chuckle again.

"When you have a baby, it makes your body very tired. A baby has to grow for about nine months before they are born!" Will explains, and the older girls and Theodore nod in understanding.

"That's a long time!" Theodore says, barely grasping the concept.

"It is! Bodies need time to get used to a baby or they get too tired and sad." Will says gently trying tj word it age appropriate for a two and a half, four, five and five and a half year old.

Will and RJ already had the baby talk with Benji before because he asked a few years ago. Benji finds his siblings questions and reactions hilarious and very cute.

Theodore, RJ and Benji all finish eating their yogurts and they listen.

"Oh! Is your body sad now, Daddy?" Harlow asks curiously, still not understanding.

"No, it's not! My body is doing okay." Will replies and plays with Luca's hair.

Will remembers vividly how scary Luca's birth was and the fact that they could have both died or Luca could have been born with brain damage due to the placenta abruption. Luca is a miracle baby.

Will's doctor did say he could get pregnant again if he wanted to since he is healthy and has three healthy pregnancies in the past. Will has a 1 in 10 chance aka a 10% chance of it happening again. Not a high chance but still a chance.

Will would just be monitored way more and be consider high risk. The baby would also probably be born earlier.

Will and RJ are 98% that their family is complete. Luca's pregnancy was an oops one and so was Averie's adoption, but they both couldn't imagine their family without either one of them.

"Daddy had surgery when Luca was born so he has to heal more." Benji says to his younger siblings, without getting into a lot of details they don't care about.

"Oh yeah! His tummy! I remember! Is your tummy all better?" Coralei asks Will and Will chuckles.

"Yes Cora, it is all better." Will says happily to the five and a half year old.

"Done!" Luca says as he finishes his frozen yogurt.

"Mmm! You ate the whole thing and some of mine! You must have loved that!" Will says cleaning up Luca's face while RJ throws all of the trash away.

"YEAH! Wuv it!" Luca says, trying his best to talk like a big kid.

"I'm done too!" Harlow says a little loudly, just because of excitement.

"Okay, let's go back home now!" RJ says and also throws Harlow's trash away.

"Yup! Dobby, Sammy and Astrid are probably missing us now." Will says to the kids.

"Thanks for getting us frozen yogurt, Daddy and Papi!" Averie, Coralei, Benji and Theodore all say on sync.

"Mhm! Fanks!" Harlow says with a big smile.

"Fank!" Luca says copying his big sister.

"You're welcome!" RJ and Will both say with big smiles at the kids.

"It was nice to get out and have fun!" RJ adds happily.

Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore and Harlow all happily run over to the van while RJ holds Luca and holds Will's hand.

The rest of the day, Will, RJ, Benji, Coralei, Averie, Theodore, Harlow and Luca all spend the day as a family!
