When Lavinia Kyler was a child, she had the world at her feet. As a child actress with more promise than she knew what to do with, Lavinia was on track to become the most talented actress of her generation. However, instead of following the expected path, Lavinia quit acting altogether shortly after her eighteenth birthday, choosing to don the name Viv Summers and allowing herself to fade into obscurity.

And for years, she thought she was happy with obscurity. It was only when she met Eddie Roundtree, the bassist of The Six, that it occurred to her that obscurity and normality didn't suit her as much as she'd hoped they would.
