I am writing this journal because I am fed up. Since day one of being a Christian, I had fallen into the modern doctrines of the Christian mainstream. In this day, there are too many bible translations to choose from, an insistence on dispensationalism and the famous pre-tribulation rapture, and modern Christian movies that are only mean't to cash in on the evangelical crowd instead of trying to draw in unbelievers. Modern Christian movies either treat unbelievers like they're scum or there is not enough gospel for unbelievers at all. 

The moment I was finally ready to get serious about my faith, I turned back to the King James Bible. Out of all the translations that I have read and studied, I believe the King James to be the best one. I feel like it's the only one I was able to connect with spiritually because of its beautiful old language. It is more accurate to the original text since shakesperean english has more words. Another thing about the King James is, there are no missing words and verses and it uses the best manscripts. The verses in the King James not found in other translations feel like that they truly belong. And I can't imagine why they shouldn't be there. I want the truth, the complete Word of God. That's why I came back to the King James. 

Another thing is the modern doctrine of dispensationalism and the pre-tribulation rapture. You see this doctrine everywhere in evangelical churches and it's the predominant view. And you see it in movies like "Left Behind". But just because doctrines are so popular doesn't mean they're biblical. The pre-trib rapture may be one interpretation, but it's not the only one, as certain verses seem to imply otherwise.

From now on, it's no compromises. I am not going to follow the mainstream crowd. I am going to go the straight and narrow way, and not the way all other believers are going.
