Chapter 10

Third Person P.o.v.

When morning had arrived, Henry was the first to wake up from the couch. As he got up from his sleep position that he was in for most of the night, he stretched and reached for his phone he left on the table near him.

It wasn't even 8:00 yet. It was 7:35 A.M.
As Henry gazed at the screen for a few moments he put his phone down and went to the restroom. After he had finished taking care of his business, he sat back on the couch and picked up the remote and began to flip through the channel. It was a good thing that it was Saturday, as Henry and Willow were off on the weekends.

As Henry flipped through the channels with the remote, he couldn't help but feel the need to check on Willow. Willow was still asleep, since he heard soft noises of snoring going on in his room.

Henry kept thinking to himself. He knew that he would eventually have to get a bed for Will, so that she could have the spare bedroom that was in his house that he barely ever used. It was unclear how long she would be staying, though. However if Willow decides if she wants to move out, then he would help her find a place to stay. He'd do anything for her, just to see her have a true smile on her face and feel happy.

He laughed softly to himself as he remembered her hilarious comment on his scent, and her playful attitude. He loved that about her, and always has since they became close friends. Awfully close friends.

Henry decided to get up from his bed to check on Will, and make sure that she was alright. He walked over into the hallway and to his room where she was located in, and opened the door just a crack.

He was surprised to see that she was no longer asleep, but instead sitting up in bed rubbing her eyes.

Henry couldn't believe he must've been that lost in thought for a certain amount of time for Will to wake up just now.

Willow looked at Henry's and jumped a bit. "Oh! G-good morning Henry," she said while blushing. Henry smiled.

"Good morning Will." He said back happily. Willow stared at the carpet of the ground, her face heating up a bit. Her eyes struggling to stay in one spot as the shook slightly, trying not to look at Henry.

Willow stood up from the bed and stretched, as Henry moved from the room and allowed Willow to leave the room.

"Do you want some breakfast? I can make some tea if you want," Hen said with a smile, trying to be as gentle as he could be with Willow, still remembering her event she had last night.

Willow nodded, her face still a bit red as she stopped in her tracks once she made it to the living room. Henry didn't notice until he was in the kitchen that he didn't see Will by his side. "Will?" He asked, looking the doorway where the kitchen and the living room was connected.

Willow's face was heating up a bit. "Um...Henry..." she said.
"Yeah?" Henry asked.

"Do you have any clothes I could borrow?" She asked, embarrassed about it. Henry smiled at her, as Willow had her hands in her face. She felt rather embarrassed that she was asking Henry for clothing. Most of her clothes were unfortunately burned from the flames in what was once her home to her.

Henry nodded, walking towards her. "Yeah, I can get some clothes for you. Wait here, Will." He said as he went off to do that. Willow waited as Henry picked out some clothes that best suited Will.

When Henry returned to Willow, he handed her a black T-shirt and some grey shorts that he had. Willow took the clothing from her and nodded to him. "Thanks..um.." She trailed off, feeling embarrassed to ask the next question she had. Henry looked at Willow curiously. "Is it alright if I go and shower?" She asked, not looking at him. Henry smiled at her. He was finding everything about her adorable.

"Will, you're living with me now. Of course you can use the shower here," he said. He showed her where the bathroom was, and once Willow got other needed clothing from her bag that contained other clothes that had been able to be salvaged, she walked into the shower as Henry had walked off to the kitchen to cook breakfast and got the tea kettle prepared for him and Willow.

As Willow turned on the faucet to the shower, she waited for it to warm up as she began undressing herself, taking off her uniform and stripping off her pants.

After she undressed herself completely she had looked at herself in the mirror, sighing softly.

She looked down at the bandages that were covering her wrists. She sighed as she undid them, and looked at her hands as she threw the bandages in the trash. Her wounds were healing properly, and they were almost fine now, thanks to the constant care that she and Henry were giving to them.

She still remembers that night, when her father had found her, and demanded for her to return with him. She remembered all of it so clearly. How he shoved her to the ground, shoved her harsh against the wall, saying how she belonged to him, and how he grabbed her arms so roughly and digging his nails into them so harshly that they bled. It was such a terrible memory to have in her mind.

Henry was still aware of Willow telling her all of these things when he found out about her bandaged hands that day, and he was hoping that now that she was living with him from now on, the two of them could finally figure out what to do about the situation without any kind of worries coming in between them. And now that she had moved into his house, he was positive that her awful father wouldn't be able to find her anytime soon. And that, to him, was a huge relief.

Henry was thinking that the best thing that they could do was to file a restraining order against her father, so that if he ever came within a few more, then authorities would get involved and he wouldn't be hurting Willow anymore.

While Henry had made up his mind on the idea he had on keeping Will's dad away from her, Willow had just barely stepped in the shower and beginning to wash off her body with the soap and shampoo that Henry had supplied.

As Willow bathed, she sighed as she got lost into her thoughts. I need to find a place to stay after I find the money, She thought to herself. It isn't fair to Henry that he has to put up with my problems.

Willow sighed as she washed her hair and began to wash out the shampoo that was in it. He's been so sweet towards me. He's been making me happier than I can say with the words in my mind.

As Willow was cleaning her body, she continued to think to herself about what she could do. It wasn't until when Henry knocked on the door that she had jumped and was barely getting done cleaning off the soap from her body.

"Will? I just wanted to let you know that the food's ready," he said kindly.

Willow calmed down and pulled herself together to respond, "Okay, be right there!"

Henry then left from the door and went back to the kitchen and place the food on separate plates.

As Willow stepped out of the shower, she began to dry herself off and got herself dressed in her bra and underwear. She then looked at the clothes that Henry lent to her. She felt her face heat up a bit as she reached for the T-shirt and shorts, and began to put them on.

The shirt she had on was a little big, but the shorts fit perfectly. Before Willow left the bathroom, she looked down at the black shirt and blushed.

Can't believe I'm wearing Henry's clothes, she though embarrassingly to herself. She continued to stare at the shirt in the mirror. It had white bold letters on it, saying, Hard working on the weekdays, Lazy on weekends.
As she stared at the shirt, curiosity filled her mind. She then grabbed the ends of the shirt and smelled it.

It smells just like him, she thought to herself as her face became as red as a tomato. After having a moment to herself, she snapped out of the thoughts she had and finally left the room to the kitchen where Henry was.

When she made her appearance to Henry, he smiled at her. "I made some tea for you," he said as he handed a light pastel blue mug to her. The steam was coming from the mug, so Willow had to blow on it. She drank her tea slowly and carefully. She smiled a bit, she liked how it tasted. It was sweet and had a bit of sugar in it.

Henry hummed to himself and handed out her plate on the table as she sat down in the chair. Henry had made some toast and eggs for the two of them. The two ate their breakfast in silence as Henry looked over at Will as she happily ate her food. He knew that she always loved to eat toast, at any time of the day.

When they were done eating, Henry smiled at her and asked, "Do you want to go out, Will?" He asked.

Willow looked up at him. She was still going through a lot, and despite everything she was still trying to get through day by day, she thought that maybe going out with her best friend was probably something that she needed.

So she thought about it, and nodded with a soft smile.
