19; Monstrous

As Eliza walked past the dark road she noticed how she was walking past her old school Devenford Prep. She furrowed her brows in confusion scowling at her self for taking the longer way.

Her headache was long gone by now especially when she could no longer hear the music from the bonfire banging against her skull.

Suddenly little drops of water tapped against Eliza's forhead, she hesitantly looked up at the sky sighing in the defeat as it started pouring down faster. She could already feel puddles forming in her shoes. Eliza let one last sigh, at least things were going back to normal she commented in her head whilst she continued walking.

Things not going her way was Eliza's speciality and it was working perfectly for her right now.

As she walked on, she couldnt help but feel fear radiating off someone suggesting someone had to be close to her. She turned around to see a younger blonde girl running towards her. Eliza's eyes widen in realisation as the blonde came into view.

"Lori?" Eliza whispered in confusion.

"Eliza run!"

Eliza snapped her vision to see another familiar face." Brett?"

"Run." He yelled at her. Eliza quickly turned around doing as she was told, Lori ahead of her. The younger werwolf turned rounded a corner which ended them in Devenford Prep highschool. She headed toward the schools lacrosse field but heistanly stop. Eliza caught up to Lori as she stopped absolutey flabbergasted.

"What's going on!" Eliza yelled over the sound of the loud heavy rain. Lori didnt answer to out of breath. Before they knew it, Brett had pushed them to a corner.

Eliza stumbled as she held on to Brett's lether jacket he gave her a warning look to be quiet, but she didnt listen and demanded answers.

"What the hell is going on Brett!"

Brett took a bit of time to answer and he finally gave up. "Asassins." Brett breathed out.

Eliza eyes widen at the sudden realisation of what dangerous situation they were in. Eliza held on to Lori as she tried to control her breathing. She was caught off guard and her head seemed do jumbled up she knew she wouldn't able to fight as good as she was suppose to.

"What were you doing out here?" Brett couldnt help but ask her and before he knew it he was being pulled out by one of the assassins.

"Run!" Brett yelled at the two girls whilst Eliza heistate to do as she was told. Brett sent her cold glare and she quickly ran over to Lori both of them getting further away from the rough noises of the fight.

"Wait!" Eliza yelled towards Lori as she noticed they were going to the lacrosse field which was an open area and could easily have gotten caught by the assasins. But Lori kept on running an Eliza didn't have a choice to follow her.

Brett had already caught up to the girls pushing both of them behind him. Physically Eliza is probably stronger than Brett beacuse of the extra abilities being a were jaguar gave her, but she didnt mind somebody else being strong for her especially since Brett pratically forbid her from fighting

One by one the lights for the lacrosse field turned on illuminating around them. Lori's breathing hitched as she tugged closer to Brett and Eliza.

They both didnt react quickly to the fact an arrow was going to hit them at full speed, too in shock by the next move by the assasins. The loud clung noise of metal to metal rung in their ears as they both turned around in shock

"Kira?" Eliza questioned her head already hurting at the amount of unexplained things that just happened. That was Beacon hills for you and it seemed that Kira Yukimura just saved there life so Eliza's small dislike for her had instantly vanished, as she felt like she could finally breath.

Scott grabbed his helmet as he rushed downstairs to Liam getting another helmet for his beta.

"Kira found Eliza and Brett. They're fine but we have to go." Scott rushed out dumbfounded about the amount things that happened within two hours. Liam felt guilty felt for letting her go even though it wouldn't be any different if she stayed considering they were in worst postion.

"More assassins, different than the ones who just tried to set us on fire." Liam exclaimed in disbelief he was honestly getting tired of of this.

"I think so yea." Scott answered nearing the door, not noticing the discomfort of his beta yet.

Finally noticing Liams voice whilst asking him made turn back right to Liam as the beta dropped the helmet on to the table in defeat.

"How about I take you home?" Scott tried to comfort Liam.

"Im not like you."

"Not yet."

"I don't mean I'm not strong, or i'll never able to be in control. I mean everything else. You and your friends trying to protect everyone, have you been doing this entire time. I mean how are you all still alive." Liam questioned his alpha.

"Not all of us are."

"Satomi this is who I have been telling you about." Kira annonced as she brough Scott in the room of werewolves. As they all assembled on Deaton's animal clinic.

Eliza locked eyes with Scott as she stood near Brett both still soaked from the rain.

"I know who Scott McCall is." our alpha annoced making Eliza more confused.

"Are we safe here?" A softer tone of voice asked as the werewolves eyes trailed down to the younger beta. Brett pulled Lori in as they waited for Scott to answer her question they were all thinking about.

Scott surveyed their entire pack his eyes lingering On Eliza's a little longer. Scott turned to Kira in astonishment."Were going to need some help. A lot more."

The pack had moved to another location that they hoped was much safer. The place was abandoned, with plastics covering every inch but if it was going to keep them safe, theyll go anywhere.

Eliza aproached Brett as she was thankfull she was now reasonably dry."Hey Brett you ok?"

Even though the questions was kind of stupid, she still wanted to know."You mean besides us running for our lives not long ago? Everythings perfect."

"No need to be sarcastic." Eliza muttered unamused.

"Sorry" Brett apologised he suddenly remembered something he's been meaning to ask her."Why were you out there anyway, I thought you went to the bonfire."

"I was at the bonfire but I didnt feel well afterwards so I decided to leave." Eliza explained, she got more details from Scott as he explained that they were all poisned by the music which made them feel sick, and turned out assassins tried to burn them alive.

She couldnt help but think these Assassins were geting a lot smarter especially since the dj was one of them.

"Trouble in paradise already." Brett teased even in the siuatin they were in.

Eliza scoffed, when she heard what happened with the McCall at the bonfire she wanted to call Liam but Scott told her not to, it seemed that Liam wanted a bit of space from all things supernatrual.

A sudden bang made Brett and Eliza sit up instanly. There wasnt anyone else around, so it drew the two closer to the sound, before Eliza knew it Brett had already taken off to attach the person.

Brett growled at the icy blue eyed man that held a gun pointed at Brett. Eliza also growled retracting her canines. "Wait, wait! Brett! Eliza!" Scott warned the two before they could attach Chris Argent.

"Brett! Its his place, it's his." Scott told Brett as he finally calm down already losing his fangs as did Eliza. It was almost out of instict for the both of them to protect each other, when in danger. Maybe it was just a pack thing.

"Scott you should have told me you were bringing guests." Chris spoke to Scott.

"I didnt no where else to take them,." Scott answered. Eliza had never heard of the man but her alpha seemed to recogise him.

"I know this man" Satomi approached Chris Argent."He may not remeber but we've met before." She continued as she glared at him making Eliza think he was probably a bad person not that gun he had was a hint.

"You can trust him. I trust him."

"How do we know hes not like the others." Satomi one again questioned

"What others?"

"Last night, there was a whole team coming after them and they used crossbows." Kira explained as she handed the crossbrow over to Chris.

"Theyre hunters arent they?" Scott questioned.

"Not if they are killing for profit."

"Can they find us?" Brett questioned the man he previously growled at.

"They might already know your here." Chris answered and Eliza scoffed how subtle of him, he wasnt making Lori's nerved better. Eliza couldnt hel but thin he he reminded her of Kate.

"Maybe theyre waiting for dark."

"So were not safe here?" Eliza questioned walking closer to Scott's side.

"Were not safe anywhere. We've been trying to get out for days. Everywhere we turn. We find someone new trying to kill us." Satomi answered making Eliza uncomfortable as she thought of Demarco and Carrie.

"They're coming Scott and coming for you to. Your still number 1 on the deadpool."

"I know, I know ok even Eliza is worth sixteen million they are going to want to target her too." Scott revealed Eliza's eyes widen as everyone turned to her. She hadnt told her pack how much she was worth. Chris watched her warily."Why is she worth so much isnt she just a beta wolf."

"No a werejaguar." Scott revealed dumbly as Eliza shut her eyes closed only two people knew that in her pack and that was Satomi and Brett. She really hoped for Scott to stop talking now.

She avoided the weird looks her pack mates sent her."A were jaguar." Chris repeated slowly as he thought of his sister.

Eliza furrowed her brows at him nodding. "Come on we have to start getting ready."

Eliza could feel her self get nervous and before she knew her hand was grabbed. She looked down at her hand being interlocked with another not looking at the person face to know who it was. "I'll always protect you."

Eliza couldn't answer Brett back as her phone beeped indicating she had received a new message.

'You have disobeyed me Eliza. I thought you were a lot stronger than that I thought you were on my team. I guess we just have to play fire with fire. -Kate

I decided not to write the fighting scene not only am I terrible at it I couldn't find the scenes to that episode.

It's safe to say I found the plot hole in the story and thats the fact Eliza knows Kate from both being with the Calaveras in Mexico and both wanted revenge on Scott. Eliza doesn't know of Peter though.another plot hole not really plot hole but it's revealed next chapter.

This story has like 2 more chapters left i cry. But anyway lovelies as usual please comment and vote your thoughts you cant vote your thoughts but you know what I mean. -Adri
