11; The Benefactor

'I'll find away to do it on my own'

The house was dead silent, you could hear a pin drop. The soft snores where heard throughout out the home, owned by nine and falling.

Eliza shifted on her bed, not being able to get rid of the sick feeling in her stomach. She had just gotten in not long, ago. It was not easy to get away from Kate.

"Eliza you have to help me."

"Kate I cant!" Eliza replied harshly.

"Why not?, you want revenge as much a I do on the McCall pack, why wont you help me."

"I-I don't know."

Eliza had thought of making Scott's McCall pack go through hell but not actually killing any of them.

"They've gotten in to your head haven't they, they filled you with lies and assured you that they'll keep everyone alive." Kate hissed back at the blonde she use to admire for her strength.

"Demarco died Kate!, a member from my pack is dead, if McCall was left standing after an Alpha pack came after him, I'm pretty sure beacon hills is safe in his hands."

Kate laughed bitterly at Eliza. "He's a teenager, you don't think one day he will decide to switch and say he is not bothered anymore or that he change his mind."

"McCall wont do that."

"Yea and why is your sister dead?"

Eliza shook from the memory as she forced her self not to feel. She closed up her heart, in a cage that she will never let anyone in to. No angel had to see or hear her dark past.

"Allison is dead because of McCall Eliza! so is your sister!".

She shifted into her bed but only to be met by brown eyes staring down at her. She grabed her chest in shock, as she sighed out in relief.

"Lori."

"Sorry Eliza, I got scared sleeping alone and Carrie is not back home yet."

Eliza smiled at the young wolf. "It's ok, we can wait for Carrie together." She told Lori as she patted at the empty space, gesturing for Lori to sit there.

"When do you think Carrie will be back?" Lori asked the older beta, as they both snuggled up closer.

Eliza played with her hair, as she let out a little shrug. "I'm sure she'll be here soon." Eliza sounded unsure and she didn't like that feeling, but she had to assure her little sister.

Just as sleep was about to take over the two, loud screeched from each area of the house were heard. Lights switched on as screams were also heard. Eliza and Lori quickly scatter away from the bed.

They both gave each other weird looks, whilst they squinted from the light suddenly switching on.

Eliza couldn't make out anything, as her pack mates were running from side to side.

"What's going on!" She yelled at the crowd, that were running in the corridor. None of them answered her as she tried to stop one of them. She let out a sigh, as she held on to Lori's hand.

Eliza's gaze quickly caught Brett's, and just how he was about to run the other way, she quickly grabbed his arm.

"What is going on Brett! why is everyone screaming, and running around." She asked, as she gave Brett no other choice but to answer.

Brett quickly got down on his knees, as he hugged Lori. "Are you ok." He asked the eleven year old beta. She nodded quickly at him, still keeping close to Eliza.

"I'm sacred." She muttered out, as Brett wiped the tears from her cheeks.

"There's no need to be." Eliza and Brett said in unison.

They both caught each others gaze, as Eliza's face hardened. She was starting to dislike him, more and more each day.

"What is going on Brett?" Eliza's demanded him to answer.

He was about to answer when another loud scream ripped through the air, that made Eliza's heart ache and clench in fear.

The three betas, ran to where the sound came from, both Eliza and a Brett still holding on to Lori. They entered the living room to be met by their Alpha, Satomi, and a few of there pack mates crying in pain.

Eliza watched in pain, as she protected Lori from the screams that were impossible to silence. She looked up a bit at his taller figure, to see Brett's watering eyes.

"What happened." She yelled, begging from anyone to answer her ,as her voice started to shake.

"What is it Brett?, tell me." She tried to keep her voice as strong for Lori, but failed, the pain of patience taking a toll on her. She begged Brett, as he tried to face her. He held both of her hands and lifted them off his chest as she repeatedly hit it, so he could tell her whats was going on as she began to shake.

"It's Carrie isn't it?" Lori asked Brett as her bottom lip started to shake, she couldn't deny that she felt the hole replacing a whole early on.

Eliza looked back at Brett, hoping what Lori said wasn't true. Her hand still laid in his chest, as she shook her head furiously.

"She's-She's fine isn't she?, Isn't she Brett!"

Brett was broken as he stared into Eliza's little hope in her eyes, it tore him up to see her like this, he watched as her breathe became hollow, the long strand of her blonde hair stuck to her lips.

Brett knew she had finally realised what the problem was, and it tore him up to the point he wanted to forgive her. Eliza's hung her head in shock, she couldn't believe anything she was hearing.

She had lost another sister.

As her head lifted up to meet Brett's gaze. Brett no longer saw her anymore, she again had put up a wall to hide her emotions. She kept emotionless and passive, which she was good at doing, but Brett could always read her like a book, but not this time. The spark in her eyes had vanished, and he didn't know when it would come back, or if it ever would come back.

Eliza walked slowly past Brett, not letting a tear drop as the cries for the rest of her pack mates where heard. She bent down to Lori's level, and pulled her into a hug.

"I'm so sorry Lori, it's all my fault." Eliza whispered to the crying beta.

Eliza didn't need to force her self to school this morning, as she claimed there was nothing holding her back.

She had concluded her plan with the McCall pack was going no where, but she had to get it up and running, with the help of Kate.

She decided to walk to school that morning not wanting to be stuck inside a school bus with hormonal teenagers. Liam had texted her a good morning, and she couldn't lie that it made her smile a bit. She texted him back that he was being cheesy, but he denied and said cheesy was what he was going for anyway.

Headlines where made on the newspapers about Carrie's death, the investigators claiming it an animal attack. Eliza had concluded this is what Kate was probably talking about, assassins invading Beacon Hills. She didn't believe Kate at first, because Kate had told her a lot of crazy stories.

She mindlessly watched as kids filled the School's grounds, laughing and talking. Banners were being lifted up in the air for the game tonight, Eliza didnt know much about it, except for it was a scrimmage.

As she looked around the crowded school, She remembers that she always loved analysing people, something she hadn't done for a while. She watched as a couple held hands, looking at each other lovingly.

The couple did flirt and very teasingly play fight, as the girl humorously giggle at his lame attempt to make her laugh. Eliza had remember the last time, she was analysing a couple with Brett and they both cringed at how cheesy the couple were, Eliza and Brett both hating every second of it.

The couple looked very happy in each other's presence as Eliza continuously watch them. She wanted to use her advanced hearing to listen to their conversation but decided against it, as it was invasion of privacy.

The mood changed between the couple, as Eliza watch the boy get up to answer his phone, leaving the girl to sit by her self. Her eyebrow furrowed as she watched the girls face fall, surely he was allowed to take a phone call. This is when Eliza decide to listen in, on the boy's phone conversation. She heard another girls giggle at the end of the call, already giving off, a bad sighn towards, Eliza as she refused to hear anymore of the conversation.

This is what she had learn in everyday life. People always disappoint you, don't trust anyone but your self, don't let any one in.

Unless they'd wind up dead. And it'll be All. Your. Fault.

Sorry if the end of this seems irrelevant. It just basically more about Eliza. This is a pretty sad chapter and it is also reaveLed what gender her sibling is finally.
