Your POV
I was in the practice tent doing some stretches when I felt someone poke my shoulder. Startled, I whipped my head around and was just about to punch them in the nose when they yelled in shock, "ah! Didn't mean to scare ya, lass!"
"Oh, Joker, it's just you." I sighed, going back to my stretches.
"Now what's tha' supposed to mean, exactly?" He laughed, poking me again and sitting beside me cross legged.
"Hm. No offence or anything, but what do you want?"
He laughed in response, "well.. I actually came to ask a favour if that's alrigh' with you."
"Sure, whatever you need, I guess"
"Oh, in that case, how would you feel about helpin' with the dinner. See, Smile... -how do I put this- well... He's not a very capable chef."
I chuckled, "that much I already know."
"Yeah, so would ye?"
"Of course, when do I need to be there?"
He thought for a moment. "Well, 'bout 'alf an hour. If ye can." He stood, patting down his coat.
"Sounds good to me. See ya then, old timer." I smirked.
He chuckled and scratched the back of his head, "don'cha think tha's a wee bit harsh?"
"That's what Dagger calls ya. Don't worry, your not old yet."
Joker laughed "so 26 is what ye kids class as almost old now?"
I chuckled "depends on the soul. Off you go, now. I'm gonna need to wash before I help you with breakfast."
"Righto, see ya." He waved as he walked out of the tent. I stood and went to shower. Well, i say shower though really, it's a bucket of ice cold water tipped over my head. I shrugged, eh, same difference!
Time skip
I was on my way to the food hall about.. (hm.. 30 minutes later? Probably.) 30 minutes after my 'refreshing shower', walking along the dirt path, waving at any of the circus-folk I came across.
"Ah, Ms Devil. Glad you could make it." My brother smiled at me as I tied back my hair and put on the mouse brown apron.
"Good evening, Black!" I curtsied and turned to Ciel, "good evening, Smile." I smirked teasingly as I said the stage name.
"Hmph. Come to assist me I presume?" He changed the subject, turning back to his pile of—
"Holy cr*p! Are those meant to be potatoes?!" I couldn't help yelling in shock as I viewed the slices of potatoes. That's right, they were slices. Of potatoes. I sighed and thought to myself 'and I thought he could get anymore helpless'.
Ciel scowled and turned away, slightly red. "Well obviously."
I shared a pitiful glance with my brother and kneeled besides the master as Sebastian announced, "there's nothing to be done, I shall prepare fish and chips as today's meal." He earned many cheers and shouts of excitement and surprise from the hungry bystanders.
As I sat, I whispered lowly enough to only be heard by him, "Poor master, whatever will we do with you?" I leaned across and took a razor from beside the Earl and took a potato from the pile. "Now listen closely and pay attention.."
Ciels POV
This is absurd. I realise I can't cook to save my life but honestly, they don't need to make such a fuss about it! And I don't need to be taking lessons from a girl! A girl who is sitting rather quite close right now..
I didn't notice at first, but she had stopped talking and had turned to face me, a confused expression etched onto her lovely face.
"Smile? What's wrong?"
"H-huh?!" Was all the response I could come up with, I wonder why.
"Your face appears to be quite red. Do you have a fever?"
It was as if a switch was flicked when she said that sentence and suddenly I could feel the heat emanating from my cheeks. "I u-uh." I shook my head as if to finish my sentence.
(Y/n) shrugged and continued the lesson and I silently sighed, 'that was close'

You are teaching Ciel the basics of cooking and it appears that you both are enjoying it as you smile and laugh.

Sebastian's POV
I began serving the meal to the performers but couldn't help watching the two on every chance I had.

After all, I can't have them falling in love...
