Prologue
Down in the old town known as Purgatory, every one knew everyone and the most dramatic thing that happened was that someone got into a bar fight or a fire started. Purgatory had one famous bar and that was Hinterlands Bar. Purgatory was a small old town hundreds of miles away from any other town.
The town was like stepping back in time in a way. The bar was the original from fifty sixty years back. It was a saloon style from the doors to the old piano in the corner to begging completely mad if wood. A pool table was placed in directly across from the bar and to your left when you walked in. Hinterlands is one of the biggest places in the town and everyone's favorite place.
The town had its own legends and stories. One of John Henry 'Doc' Holiday. He was known as a deadly gunslinger and companion at one point to the famous Wyatt Earp. Not only was Doc a deadly gunslinger he was also a well known doctor. It was said that on one of his many journeys Doc had spent many months in that little town of Purgatory and was often found drinking and chatting with the local female staff.

Grabbing my things I double checked to see if all holsters were full with the proper equipment and that I didn't forget anything. Knowing the most important weapon I was yet to achieve. Locking the doors with a small click I stool off running.
Going to an old cemetery at the edge of town I sighed as I jumped over the large, old, moss covered brick wall. Landing on my feet I found a near by shovel and walked over last numerous graves until I reached my distinguished one.
At the very very back of the cemetery, under the old willow tree was a grave. Engraved in the stone was ' Megan Carter the girl who tried ' many people couldn't see the last part with the girl who tried. Why? Because they were normal, mundane, the couldn't really see.
Think of it as when fog covers the window of a car, you have trouble seeing and not everything is clear. That is how they see. For me and the rest of my family and a few others it was as if the fog was wiped clean or that it was never there to begin with.
Closing my eyes and offering a quick prayer to whatever god is up there I began digging. Hitting that of something hard I jumped into the grave and whipped away the rest of the dirt.
When Megan died the wanted what I need barrier with her when she knew very well that I was going to need it. She always did love making my life difficult.
Opening the lid of the coffin I sound it empty with the exception of a leather case laying where her head should have been. Megan was never actually here she was put in a grave on a small island named Cafena. It was where almost all of the ones who could see where.
Grabbing the case I closed the lid and put the dirt back. Outing the case into my bag I quickly left the cemetery and went to the bus stop.
Time to go pay a little visit to Purgatory. Smirking I placed my head against the glass window and slowly feel asleep knowing I would need it.
