Sterling turned his back to me after the scientist had introduced me. His face told everyone that he was deep in thought. I sighed and looked at the cage beside me. There was a red headed girl in it. Her hair hung loosely at her shoulders. Her vibrant green eyes stared at me as if searching for something that would set her off.

"Draco," I heard her whisper.

"Hi," I said, wanting to make some friends in this horrible world. She shook her head, it looked like she was trying to clear it of some foul thought.

"Hello," she replied, "I'm Rose," she said. I nodded. "I'm a cat hybrid by the way," she said.

"Cool," I said looking at the place were her ears were supposed to be. Than I glanced to the top of her head, seeing two cat-like ears poking out of her ginger hair. She laughed abruptly.

"I get that a lot," she said, still laughing. Slowly, my gaze traveled down to her hands. Her fingernails where sharpened to a point. I bet they actually grew that way though. Rose eventually calmed down. "Let me see your wings," she asked, tilting her head. Slowly I nodded, turning around. Spreading my wings I turned around. "Wow," she said, looking at the leathery scales.

"Okay, so, what are the rules?" I asked looking her in the eyes. She shivered.

"First rule: if you don't follow the rules, your back to solitary," she said, her voice shaking, "second rule: do not try and escape, and all attempts are futile. Third rule: do not harm a scientist in anyway. Fourth rule: do not harm yourself in anyway. And do whatever the scientists want you to do," she finished sadly.

"Okay, got it," I said nodding, wondering what solitary was exactly.

"A girl broke one of the rules," Rose said softly, "she was never heard from again after the scientists dragged her away,"

I nodded and bit my lip. I made a mental note not to ever break any of the rules. Unless... No, that would be too hard. For now at least. Then, as if on cue, a blonde scientist in a lab coat walked in. His glasses glinted the light from the windows straight into my eyes. Buff guards walked in behind him. was a red headed girl in it. Then, as if on cue, a blonde scientist in a lab coat walked in. His glasses glinted the light from the windows straight into my eyes. Buff looking guards walked in behind him. A brunet walked up to my cage. His green eyes where stone cold. I slid back in my cage, wanting as far away from that man as possible.

"Now! Specimen!" The scientist said, adjusting his glasses, "today we are testing speed and strength. Tomorrow will be unnaturals only," finishing, he nodded to who I assumed to be the head guard. As he passed out keys, I glanced at Sterling. For a moment he caught my eye. I could see fear in them, complete and total fear. Utter fear...

The guard tied my hands and wings behind my back tightly. I rolled my eyes, like I was going to break through robes that where at least as thick as two of my fingers. We were marched out of the cage room like cows being herded for the butcher. I felt empty in a way. The slop they had been feeding us wasn't exactly filling.

Suddenly, a wave of homesickness washed over me. My knees buckled, but my guard kept me standing. I wasn't ever going to see them again. And if I did... What were they going to think of the new me? My feet were being dragged on the floor. My guard had continued to walk. I saw Rose glance at me. 'Get up' she mouthed as she walked.

I got up and continued to walk. I didn't like this guard. He didn't need to carry me. Now not only my stomach felt empty, but also, my soul.

Experiment 320 POV:

The stupid doctors said it was time! I knew they would lie. I felt it when he said it! They said I would be out of the dark by now! Why do those little men have to lie for their wishes. Their dreams. I'll get them back. I know I will. Someday, I will.

Griffins POV:

When we got outside it was raining slightly. The cold drops of water splattered my blonde hair. I almost laughed. It had been so long since I had a shower. Glancing to my side, I saw Rose cowering and swatting at the raindrops. 'Cats really don't like rain!' I thought with a slight smirk.

The scientist with the glasses came into the large clearing. He dusted off his lab coat and said, "who's ready for some tests?"
