JUVIA POV

As soon as I spotted my blonde haired friend I started running, I have known Lucy for as long as I can remember, so for knowing someone for so long we naturally became best friends. My arms flew around the her, causing us to trip and tumble to the ground.

"Juvia! You going to make me break my.. everything, one day!" Lucy screeches while giggling. I smile at her while getting off her, and then helped me up. "Common Lucy! You never let Juvia have any fun-" I pout before I get cut off by a raven haired male walking up to us. Dread immediately courses through my veins while both Lucy's and Gray's face lit up red.

Lucy has had a crush on Gray Fullbuster since the 3rd grade and it's clear he has had a crush on her just as long. Juvia had no interest in the relationship, but continued to support Lucy's crush because she just wanted Lucy to be happy. 

"Hey Lucy!" Gray smiled but then his eyes wandered towards me and his smile faltered for a couple seconds but then it returned when Lucy started a conversation with him. 

I look around the crowded hallway to see Natsu glaring bullets into Gray's head but once he see my gaze quickly turns away. I look back to Lucy and Gray. Of course they would like each other, Lucy is model pretty and the school uniform of a her skirt and her button up shirt with a few buttons gone doesn't help her with not wanting to be noticed at school. Gray Fullbuster was also one of the most good looking people in the whole school, to his toned chest to his perfect jaw line.

He finished his conversation with Lucy and wandered back to his upset looking best friend. "OHH my goooosh Juvia!!" Lucy squealed, I couldn't help but be upset. I hated him, the first time I met him was when he pushed Lucy on his first day of school. I know I'm holding a grudge but I can't stand him and his stupidly handsome face, it doesn't even involve the secret crush I had on him.

"Juvia understands, you have had a crush on him for a long time but maybe you should consider somebody else.. like Natsu, you spend a lot of time together." I say as I try to put my sentence as nicely as possible. Lucy scoffs, " Juvia, Gray and I are soulmates, I know it. Besides Natsu is like my brother." She states in her matter-of-fact tone. I roll my eyes but still try my best to smile at her. We stop at her locker and she stuffs her stuff in then takes all her books out. She slams the locker then we continue towards mine. I can't help but let my mind wander towards Natsu's angry expression towards Gray in the hall, he knew both Lucy and Gray like the back of his hand. Maybe he would agree with me that they wouldn't be good for each other or maybe he was still had that crush on Lucy and was jealous.

We arrive at my locker and I stuff my things and grab stuff out mindlessly while Lucy goes on about how hot Gray is and then sometimes bringing up stupid stuff Gray did with Natsu. I finally wave her off as I'm about to start walking to my class. Then just when I think I'm alone I get corned by the one person I dread seeing all day everyday, the man that takes up most of Lucy's talking time, Gray Fullbuster.

"Juvia, I want you to help me with Lucy." Gray says flatly. I step back, shocked. "H-Huh?! Juvia.." I was about to reject the offer and tell him to leave her alone when the most terrible thing pops into my head, I can say yes and if him and Lucy's relationship doesn't work out I can say I told you so, and if it does, good for them. "Okay, fine. Juvia will help you." I answer. He smirked and walked off to his first class. I think for a second and instantly regret saying that. But if it might make Lucy happy then I'll deal with it.
