Hanging Out -2-

 Juvia's POV

As soon as the bell rung I trudged out of the classroom, for the first time in a long time I didn't want to go home this weekend. I get to my locker and shove my stuff in my backpack and pull it out of my locker and slam it shut. As I was walking out of the school gates a pair of hands slip around my wrist and stop me. I immediately know who it is.

"Gray, let Juvia go." I sigh "I will walk home with you." Gray states, dragging me behind him. I sigh once again as I grab my wrist back from his grasp, annoyed. On the way to my house Gray asked me millions of questions about Lucy and sometimes -still very rarely- asking about me about my self.

We arrive in front of the white house and I stomp to the stairs. When I almost halfway up my stairs Gray calls out to me. "I will text you later!" Gray yells, I roll my eyes. When I'm finally inside I through my backpack on the stairs and take off my shoes. I run upstairs and relive the day.. the Gray Fullbuster filled day.

I could feel my facer heats up at the memory of Gray's cocky smile and his constant attempts to try to talk to me. I was kind of what Lyon used to do, but instead of it being followed by annoyance it made me oddly happy. I shake my head, trying to get rid of the thoughts and force my mind to stare at the badly coated, blue walls.

My mind drifts and my eyes heavy, then I fall into a light sleep. The dream that follows wasn't at all out of the ordinary, in fact she has this dream almost every month. It was about a man made of ice that fell in love with a beautiful women, they spend time together until the man realizes that he has only been imaging her there and she was in the hospital.

The dream ends and I wake up the loud sound of my ringing beside me, someone was calling me. I pick up my phone and answer the call. "Hello..?" My tired voice calls out.

"Hey Juvia! You said you were free right?" Gray's voice rings from the other line, I sigh and try to answer him. "Juvia is-" I get interrupted, "Good! I will be there in a couple minutes!" He states, I try to object but before I can respond he hangs up. The call menu turns back to my normal phone screen.

I run my hands though my long, blue hair as I get up from my bed. I walk downstairs to see my moms work stuff and my bag neatly put by the side of the door. I put on my shoes and coat and stuff my phone in my coat pocket, and quickly make my mom a note and leave kitchen table . I walk outside, as the chilly, dark air surrounds my body I see a car turn on to my street and pull up in front of my house.

"Hey Juvia." Gray winks at me, my face turns red. I am unable to decide if it's from the cold or from how much I loved him winking at me. "Hi.." I coldly whisper as I get into his black car. He rolls his eyes at my lack of response. He drives off as soon as I have my seat belt on.

"Where are you taking Juvia?" I question, while staring at the small streets passing by as the car gains speed. "We are going to my house," he answers blankly. We both watch the road disappear in front of the car until we pull up in front of a house, which I am pretty sure is his. it is about the same size as mine, a little bigger. It looked newer though, semi-fresh coats of paint on the outside, and newly packed flowers.

He pulls me from the seat and drags me inside. I only have a few seconds to process where I am before I get pulled upstairs and taken into a bedroom. The bedroom was big, it had white walls but was covered by posters. I snort at the one poster that was mostly hidden but still showed, It was pink and decorated with flowers and the name of some cartoon.

Gray seemed to notice and follows my eyes to the poster. "My little sister and I watch that show. She made me buy the poster." He informs me, embarrassed. I giggle, "Juvia thinks that it's cute that you would do that for your sister, Juvia wonders what Lucy would think." I tease.

He smiles, then sits down. He gestures for me to sit down with him, which I do. "Do you suppose that she might watch cartoons with a younger sibling also? That would be a great talking point." He jokes, I laugh loudly. He looks startled at first but slowly start to laugh, maybe at me or maybe at his joke. Now that I think about it, it's probably both.

"No, Lucy doesn't have any siblings. But Juvia is sure that she would find it adorable that you watch cartoons with your little sister." I tell him truthfully, he smiles. "So do you have a survey about Lucy that Juvia can fill out or something?" I say playfully. He laughs and I smile at him.

I could already tell that this was going to be a good night..

THE END
