Everyone was busy when the bride's sister caught everyone's attention.
"Let's play a game—songs or poetry! We can make two teams: one for girls and one for boys!" she proposed, bubbling with excitement.
Everyone liked the idea, and soon they were all seated on the floor. The boys sat on the right side and the girls on the left. Malik's eyes were fixed on Inaya, who was struggling with her scarf, trying to adjust it on her shoulder.
As the game began, everyone sang songs. When it was Malik's turn, he did something that sparked everyone's excitement.
"I won't sing... instead, I'll recite a poem," Malik announced, gaining the attention of everyone present.
"𝑈𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑛'𝑠 𝑠𝑜𝑓𝑡 𝑔𝑙𝑜𝑤 𝑠𝑜 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡,

He opened his eyes and met Inaya’s gaze, which was a bit gloomy from tears. A smile spread across his face as he looked at her.
When she heard his voice, she felt a stirring in her heart. The way he spoke with his eyes closed, fully immersed in his words, made her believe he was expressing those feelings just for her.
She couldn’t help but smile back at him. Though everyone around was cheering for him, they were lost in each other, feeling as if the world around them had come to a standstill.
Suddenly, she looked away, her heart pounding crazily in her chest.
Once home, he settled into his bed, tossing and turning, unable to sleep. Inaya's innocent and beautiful face appeared before him every time he closed his eyes.
He smiled like a fool and, as he looked up at the sky with his eyes closed, he saw her again. A cold breeze brushed against his skin, bringing him peace. The combination of the breeze and her memories made him feel at ease.
He went to his mother's room, gazing at the picture on the wall. Sitting in a chair, he looked at his mother’s picture with love.
“I don’t know what’s happening to me, Mom. Her name is Inaya. She is so beautiful, so innocent, so captivating... I can’t describe her in words. She was wearing a white dress with small flowers on her kurti,” Malik said with a smile.
“I can’t sleep. I don’t know why. I’ve never felt this way before,” he continued, standing up to caress the picture.
“I miss you... Why did you leave me like this?” he murmured, resting his head against the frame.
Meanwhile, when Inaya got home, she completed her assignments. After taking a shower, she slipped under the sheets and fell asleep. She didn’t think about Malik as he thought about her.
During the car ride to home, she recalled his voice and how beautifully his lips moved, how perfectly he pronounced each word. A smile crossed her face at the memory, but once she reached home, she busied herself with other tasks.
