POV Jack

"Please Lord, the Almighty in Heaven. I know that I abandoned you when I felt that you turned your back at me. Truly I'm sorry for that. Now I humbly ask that you stop my heart being ripped as I reach up to you again. If you're listening, please, just please keep my wife and child safe until I get to them. Do anything in your power to hold them safe because I'm just simple and not as Great as you. You can move mountains so keeping couple of your creations well isn't that hard? Just please," I prayed quietly as I ran out of my house.

I couldn't think, I couldn't rationalize. All that I managed to do was to act, my body knew what to do. I had grabbed my helmet before storming out from the door. Tooth's voice called after me but I couldn't really hear what she was saying. My eyes were locked into my motorbike, parked in the yard and probably being the fastest way. My way to my family.

I'm driving towards the city area, leaning the bike down sharply whenever I'm driving between two cars. It's like skiing when you go between two sticks, slaloming down the slope. Only that my sticks are real moving cars and my slope is the busy road.

An accident would be devastating. Not because of me being hurt but because then I couldn't get to her. She needs me right now. I tried to concentrate to my max as I hit the accelerator, it made the bike lift to it's back tire.

I speed as fast as I can, towards a ramp leading out from motorway. I barely managed to drive past a red car which was driving fast. It had a lightning mark on the side.

My heart is beating like it might explode trough my ribcage. It's painful, painful to realize that even though I try my hardest. I might fail.

The scenery turns into familiar one. I did know the abandoned house where they had taken her. It was a small apartment house, I played with Emma there when she was a child. Before the accident. Every child loved to go there, until it was strictly forbidden due to it being close to crumble down.

The bike fell down when I parked in hurry. My helmet flew somewhere behind me as I quickly took it off. Then I run, towards the entrance. She's in the cellar. Without me, alone. I promised to keep her safe. And I'm going to do it, with bare hands if I have to. And I truly have to. I didn't concentrate enough to take a gun with me when I hurried my way here.

My hand grabs an shovel from the ground. It's growing mold and it's one old rusty shovel but I don't care.

Once I was on the first step I hear gunshots, people running towards the exit. Quickly I back up, soon being eye to eye with the demon itself. It's Pitch Black followed by his men.

"I came to claim what's mine and not yours to take!" I roared. A hint of surprise appeared on his eyes but then he started laughing. Pulling out a shining gun which he then aimed at me while grinning.

"You and your friends are too late!" He shouted, firing the shot towards me.

Friends?

I dodged the bullet by jumping to my right, he used the opportunity to pass me. While I got up I saw all five of them running away. Then I heard a groan and once I turn around a villain jumps towards me. He had come from the house, stood in the porch and tried to attack. I used the shovel to stop him from punching me.

I grit my teeth together as I use the shovel to hit him and then to dodge with it again. Then I put my strength into one good swift and he got knocked down. He had a gun on his hand which I quickly took.

"PITCH!" I yelled as I turn to his direction again. I'm running as fast as I can, throwing the shovel to ground right next to the misfortunate villain whose nose is broken.

He is too far away so I place myself sideways. I'm breathing angrily as I lift my hand up. "You're paying for your sins now, bastard," I hissed from between my teeth as I got the safety off from the gun. My front finger presses against the cool trigger as I aim towards him.

I hold my breath as I fire. It ended up in Pitch screaming in pain. The bullet hit to his kneecap as I wanted to. I slightly aim more up on his body. I fired again.

Right on the target again. Now he's holding his shoulder which I had shot, shattering his bones. I just hear his screaming, it's like music to my ears which is accompanied by the sweet exploding sound that my gun makes every time when I fire.

I watch in satisfaction as he starts to limp out while crying and screaming because of pain. He fires couple of shots, glaring at me angrily over his shoulder. I didn't move an inch to avoid the bullets, they all passed me and landed to the buildings wall.

"Time to end this," I whispered as I aimed again. I close my other eye to aim better.

"Man your face looks ugly," I said blankly as I was about to pull the trigger.

"HELP!" I heard a yell behind me. It was a young looking guy with black hair and dark eyes. He was wearing a purple suit. He was dragging someone out from the house which I noticed when I turned around. The gun dropped from my hand as I ran towards them.

"Elsa!" I yelled and she lifted her head up. Her face was dirty, her makeup had gone all over it. She had been crying. I ran to them, quickly I lifted Elsa to my arms and I walk her out.

"Thanks!" The guy breathed out fast. "I carried her up the stairs," he gasped out.

"What are you doing here!" I asked quickly while I hold on to Elsa. She was hanging onto my neck like her life depended on it.

"I'm here with your friends. Merida is getting my friends out and Baymax is informing Hiccup and-I should go back they're trapped," the guy panted out and stood up.

"Wait! Who are you who's trapped?" I questioned while I covered Elsa's lower body with my hoodie that I took off. She didn't say anything. She was just crying. I gave her a kiss on forehead, whispering that everything would be alright. Hopefully it will be alright, hopefully they didn't manage to touch her.

"I'm Hiro Hamada. Punzie and Flynn, I promised to go back!" Hiro said while his voice shivered.
I see how Hiccup flies down with a big looking thing that's wearing a red armor. Then Merida runs out with some group.

"There's a bomb! I need to get them ou-," Hiro said and then I heard a loud explosion. My eyes widened and quickly I covered Elsa with my own body. Flames were shooting out from the building as it exploded, Hiro flies backwards and lands next to us. I see a bright white flash and then I feel sharp pain on my back.

It's hard to breathe and I look at the ground.

Blood drops.

Slowly my body goes numb over hers, she's moving. Calling my name and crying. She's alive, that's good.

"Jack! You'll be fine!" She cried aloud and I feel my body being turned to side. I gasped in pain as my back had something pressing in again. I can't breathe.

Slowly I'm starting to see things around me again but I'm just gasping for air. She's gently stroking my cheek, holding me.

"Oh god you're hurt," she said in panic. I shook my head slowly, barely in noticeable way.

"You are silly," she chuckled between her sobs. "B-baby is safe. I'm safe. N-now please, don't leave your family," she whispered.

My heart feels at ease. I let out a sigh and my view is like a circle that's slowly narrowing towards middle. First I couldn't see. Then I couldn't hear.

N-no, I don't want to go.

I'm not ready.

POV Hiro
[Happened Earlier]

"Hiro! They have Elsa. Change of plans. Get her out, help Punzie and Flynn. There might be enemies," Hiccups voice reached out to us and I glance Merida.

"Where?" I asked quietly.

"Basement", Punzie and Flynn went ahead.

"I'm keeping watch with Baymax. He can't fit the staircase anyway," Merida said and I saw a quick smile on her face. I nodded my head as I kept myself low while going towards the staircase.

The stairs creaked once I stepped on them. Merida stayed on the bottom steps, Baymax with her.

I was almost downstairs when I heard gun shots. Some yelling which I recognized being Punzies. She shouted that Flynn should take Elsa out. I run to the corridor, there's one door open. It was heavy one and done from metal. Perhaps boiler room kind of thing?

Flynn appears from the doorway, carrying Elsa. Once he saw me he ran towards me quickly. "Hiro! Take Elsa to safety! I need to go back to Punzie she's captured by Gothel. S-she came there when we had beaten up the woman who tried to hurt Elsa. She got her, Punz. I need to--," Flynn panted out as he gave Elsa to my arms. She was shivering, her pants had been cut into pieces and I wondered what happened to her.

On that moment Flynn left. "WAIT!" I yelled.

"Hurry! It's getting nasty up here!" Merida spoke through mic. Now I could hear shooting going on upstairs. While I stayed there, holding Elsa, that's when my focus lost for a moment.

The metal door slammed shut after Flynn. I bit my bottom lip as I placed Elsa to floor. She was still sobbing.

I ran to the door. It was locked. There was a fight going on. Gun shots were being fired while Punzie was screaming. I tried to break the door, slamming my body against it shoulder first.

Then it was quiet.

My eyes widened. It can't be. I started beating the door.

"Oh FUCK! Rapunzel! Punzie! FLYNN!" I shouted as loud as I could. I kept on beating and kicking the door.

"Hiro!" Punzie's voice came out.

"Thank god! What happened?" I yelled.

"S-she locked us in. Flynn shot her. You should take Elsa out," Punzies voice was strict and I could tell that something is wrong.

"Punz?" I questioned.

"The door is locked. We don't have key," Flynn said.

"Then I'll find it," I replied.

"No! Take Elsa out quickly. Tell the other's to run as fast and as far as they can from this building," Punzie cried aloud.

"W-why?" I asked while my body felt numb.

"There's a bomb. We're stuck here with a bomb that she put out. This was a trap all along. To get our friend Jack and Elsa to die. Gothel said that she wanted to use it on us," Flynn sighed.

"Okay. I'm coming there to disable it," I said blankly and I tried to pull the door out.

"GO! Save Elsa and the other's. We don't know how long we have. Hurry!" Punzie shouted to me.

I panted, squeezing my hands into fists. My brother died in fire. Now them are in danger.

"FINE! I'm taking her out and alarming others. Then I'm coming back for you!" I yelled back with my voice cracking. Again I'm left helpless to be there for someone. Useless like I was on the day when my brother died.

I ran to Elsa, picking her up. The gun shot battle is still ongoing upstairs.

"Merida, get my friends informed that they need to get the hell out from here. Right now. And Baymax, you buddy should go to drag Hiccup from the scene. There's a bomb," I spoke quickly.

"Wait! What about Punzie and Flynn," Merida gasped. I heard shots being fired near her.

"They're coming right after us, now go!" I lied.

"Okay, front door is safe soon. I'm going to smoke them out!" Merida groaned. Then I heard her yelling at the bastards called Nightmares. I stayed hidden in the staircase with Elsa. I see the crooks passing us. Merida is chasing them. She's a good shooter, she had taken her father's gun in secret.

Merida showed me a sign that I should go. She ran upstairs to tell my friends to get out. Only Hiccup could contact everyone, we could only contact the ones who we were working with through our radios.

I dragged her out from the building. As I went out I saw someone standing out there. Aiming a gun at the running criminals. He could maybe help? So I can go and get Punzie and Flynn out.

"Help!" I yelled and the silver haired stranger turns around. He is staring at us while I go to him. Then I recognized him, the Snowflake Burglar, Jack Frost. This girls companion who just dropped the gun from his hand.

I explained everything to him. Then I turned around to go back at the building to get Punzie and Flynn out. I managed to see how Merida got out with my friends and how Hiccup and Baymax were coming towards us.

Then the building exploded. The impact threw me backwards and my ears were ringing. The bright light made my vision go blurry but I could feel the cool pavement against my hands. I was laying on the ground.

Slowly my hearing and vision started to return. I could hear Elsa begging and then I saw it. She was embracing the guy, her husband - Jack Frost. Slowly I pushed myself up.

I saw how a metal pipe had pierced Jack's back and he was barely breathing. It had flown from the explosion.

"Baymax! Help him!" I yelled while holding my aching head where a constant ringing was echoing and distracting me. I sat on the ground while my friends, Merida and Hiccup ran to us. Gladly other's were able to get far enough from the danger.

Baymax went to Jack, scanning him.

"Diagnosis is punctured lung and in need of immediate medical assistance," Baymax informed.

"Fly him to hospital," I mumbled out while I tried not to throw up. Elsa was reluctant to give Jack to Baymax but she let go of him when Baymax explained who he was. Personal health care companion.

Baymax jet towards the sky while carrying unconscious Jack. I follow them with my gaze and then I look back down. The burning is in full flames.

Slowly I realize what had happened. My feet felt numb when I woke up. I'm still staring at the destroyed building.

"Hiro! Please tell me that they got out?" Hiccup yelled as he ran to me. I shook my head in misbelieve.

We were missing two of us who faced the fear itself.

They are gone, forever.
