30 Moment of Truth

POV Elsa

I was looking at the girl who brought our drinks. There was something familiar in her, with her long eyelashes and piercing purple lips. For some reason she seemed older than her looks were giving in. I was about to ask if we've met before but then Jack interrupted me. "Drink," he ordered me and pushed the shot glass forward. My fingers go around the glass and I lift it in front of me, the smell of the alcohol is burning inside my nose but I drink it down. It tastes so bitter that I accidentally bursted some of it out from my mouth.

Jack handed me a napkin from the table and I noticed his cheeks being slightly pink. "Jack?" I asked. "The explanation," I added strictly. He was just staring at me and I sighed, "It seems that you're just going to continue like before."

As I was about to leave he grabbed onto my hand. "Stay, I'll tell you everything you want to know," he sounded desperate. I sat down and he smiled a bit. "So," he hummed, "let the explaining begin."

"They got my dna, the police. That day when I stole the apple and almost died, thanks by the way," he laughed easily. Almost too easily and my head felt a bit light too. Jack ordered us some drinks from the waitress who was walking past us. "Blue lagoon for my girl here," Jack said and nodded towards me.

"Is it really time to get wasted?" I asked as he ordered raw vodka. He grinned, "Nah. I'm just bad with explaining and stuff as I'm sober." My eyes widened.

The waitress brought us our drinks and Jack took a sip of vodka. He shrugged his shoulders and looked at me mischievously, "What? That's how I managed through high school." My jaw dropped, "You?"

He nodded his head and drank rest of the vodka. "Yeah. If I wouldn't have waited for my big 18th birthday party with my friends so much I might have been on the plane with them. We would be together in heaven, you know. My family and me. Heck, they probably got the trip for my birthday because I loved to party too much and I still refused. I'm a idiot," he laughed bitterly.

Now the waitress brought him more vodka but he took the whole bottle to table. His fingers were playing with the glass which he stared. "So you just decided to get wasted now? After not drinking in years?" I gulped and he raised his gaze, his brown eyes were looking into mine.

"Where should I start?" He stuttered as his eyes looked keenly at me. "I know," he chuckled. "I love you Elsa," he said and touched my knee beneath the table. My cheeks warmed up and I took a sip of the blue drink that the waitress now brought to me. I felt a weird pulsing sensation in my head and my vision was a bit blurry.

"So, why haven't you spoken with me in a while?" I said through the loud music. People were dancing on the dance floor while we were having our serious conversation which isn't going so well. He is getting drunker every minute.

"They were spying on me Els. They might have caught you. Honestly," he grinned. "I didn't know that you would be doing a robbery that date. I'm so happy that I found you in time and not the police," he sighed.

"With that device?" I asked. Jack nodded his head and was waving his glass in his hand, the liquid was like a whirling storm inside the glass, spinning round and round. "You could have just given it an electronic shock so it would have been nullified. Don't you know anything?" I sighed but then I see the look on his face. Yeah, he sure doesnt know anything about electronics.

Jack cleared his throat, "Anyway. I found out that taking a dip in water might do it. The thing was that they could come after me quickly because they know the last location where I would be. But now I outsmarted them." He laughed with excitement.

Suddenly Jack smiled and watched at me. "Now we're here," he said with honey in his voice that got me embarrassed. I inhaled deeply and started to drink my drink with straw. Jack laughed to my actions and I glared at him. "Marry me," he whispered which made me angry.

"How about that baby of yours?" I hissed and stood up. My chair was scrubbing the floor while I did it. "Baby? What baby?" Jack sounded surprised while staring at me.

"The new woman of yours. How would she feel if you married someone else? You totally are a heartless jerk!" I shouted. Jack frowned and looks to his hands. "Well, what do you have to say? Cheater?" I hissed between my teeth and leaned on the table.

"She's a cop," Jack muttered. "SHE'S HAVING YOUR BABY!" I yelled and I heard some whispers of people near us. We were drawing attention. Jack was squeezing the glass in his hands, his shock was not a secret.

"Stop it," Jack said quietly and was breathing heavily. "CHEATER!" I shouted and was about to walk away when I heard his chair falling to floor and then I heard a loud bang followed by sound of shattering glass when he hit the glass on the table.

"Just wait!" Jack pleaded. "Good bye, JACK-ASS," I said coldly.

The next words that he shouted aloud stopped me.

"I'M A VIRGIN ELSA!" He shouted so loud that the DJ paused the music for a while. My heart was racing and I quickly pulled the curtains to close the private corner where we were. The music started to play again.

"W-what did you say?" I stuttered. I hear his steps and then I turn around. He is standing in front of me tear eyed.

I yelped when his hand went inside from my neckline. "I see that you're wearing it still," he said mysteriously as he pulled out the chain that was hanging on my neck. "I swore to wait.. Wait for my true love like father did," Jack mumbled and shows me the ring.

"You're my one true love," he whispered and dropped the ring down. My heart fluttered when he placed his hands on my hips and leaned forward. I could smell the alcohol on his breath before he kissed me.

One knee hit to his crouch might do it. Just one hit and he would be down and I could run. Do it Elsa.

I just can't, he is the one holding me up so I won't melt on the floor while he is kissing me. My hands go around his neck and couple of tears run on my cheeks. When he embraced me I felt his body shivering.

Jack is holding his eyes closed after the kiss. I feel his heart beating against my hand which is now resting on his chest. When he finally looked at me I smiled to him shyly. "I.. I believe that this is yours," I whispered and took the ring chain from my neck and placed it on his neck. Then I kissed his cheek which made him blush.

"So you're not mad?" He whispered. "I'm still angry for you to think that you would handle things alone," I said to him and he seemed sad. "So you're not having a child with someone else?" I laughed.

Jack grinned mischievously, "With someone else? You want a baby with me? And to answer your question. No." My mouth was left open. "T-that's not what I meant," I said as my hands were brushing my hair.

Then I got an idea and I took my pocket knife from my boot. Jack flinched when I opened the knife. "Whoa, it was a joke!" He stuttered and I smiled to him mischievously. I opened up my braid and then I cut three strands of my hair out. It was enough to do a small braid from them.

"What are you doing?" Jack whispered when I braided the hair strands. "Give me your left hand," I ordered and he gave it. I tied the braid to his left hands ring finger. "I want to say.. yes," I grinned to him. He seemed puzzled, "What?"

"I will marry you. Jackson Overland, also known as Jack Frost and Snowflake Burglar," I smiled shyly. His face went pale but quickly I saw his cheeks warming up and then he laughed happily. "That's awesome!" He shouted and I hushed him.

"Let's have a drink for that!" He winked his eye and poured us both a shot of vodka. "At one go on the count to three," he smiled and I took the glass. "THREE!" He chuckled and we emptied the glasses.

"What's happening?" A male waiter peeked inside the curtain. Jack placed his arm over my shoulder, "We're getting married!" Jack stated and I stare at him in misbelieve. "Oh in the chapel next to this night club? Congratulations!" The waiter smiled and left.

Jack's eyes got wide and he glanced at me. "What do you say? Let's go for it?" He smirked and my world was a bit fuzzy. "Uh..," I mumbled but the excitement and honesty in his eyes got me. I inhaled deeply and grabbed on the vodka.

I heard Jack gasping and felt his arm dropping from my shoulder when he saw me emptying the rest of the vodka bottle. "Let's do it," I laughed after and he smiled slyly.

Jack pulled the curtains open and I saw a glimpse of the waitress. She looked older now, her body was bony and she laughed familiarly. A name was coming to my mind from somewhere but then I forgot it again when Jack pulled me into kiss. The waitress had disappeared in the meanwhile.

Jack took my hand and we left the night club after he had paid for the bill. I felt nervous when we got into the wedding chapel. We did some paperwork and then I was dressed into a weird looking wedding dress. Not the one that every girl could wish for their dream wedding.

When I walked down the aisle the place looked really odd with artificial flowers made of plastic. The funny thing is that I didn't actually care about that and when I saw him all the doubt that I had vanished. Jack was waiting for me in the front with the "priest".

The actual ceremony was fast and another couple was waiting. The kiss however was wonderful and I had hard time to let go of him.

We changed our clothes and then we left the chapel. "So what now?" I asked and he lifted his eyebrow. "Hotel," he said mysteriously. "Umm.. okay," I whispered and we walked in silence.

"How about this one?" I asked but he shook his head. "Not good enough," he said. I sighed and we walked some more. "There," he pointed out to a five star place. "Palace?" I gasped and he laughed. "Sure," he smirked and then lifted me up from my waist.

Jack spins me around and kissed me. "Everything for my princess," he whispered. "Queen. I'm married," I said playfully and he grinned. "So you got it? Queen of Fools," he chuckled. "What?" I raised my voice. "Since I'm the King of Fools," his eyes shone from happiness.

"Yeah right," I said and slapped his chest. Then we went to the hotel. The lobby was fancy looking with marble floors and desk. The staff was wearing black suits.

Jack went to get us a room. I had to take support from the couch in the waiting area. The dizzy feeling was getting worse. Jack walks towards me but I see how his balance is a bit off too.

"Hehe, too much to drink," he laughs and takes my hand. The elevator takes us to top floor. The doors opened up and I see that we're already inside a suite. "This is astonishing," I whispered as I walked inside.

I stopped for a while and I hear him walking behind of me. Jack places his hands on my hips as I stay there to admire the room with fancy blue silk fabrics and a hot tub in the living room. "Only the best for our wedding night," he whispers to my ear.

I broke free from his grasp and then I go inside the living room. There's a fireplace and a mini bar. Jack is walking to the fridge and he takes a bottle of champagne out with two glasses. "Come," he says gently and I go to him.

He gives me a glass and we clinched them together. Then we drank and he is looking at me curiously. "What?" I smiled as I put down the glass. "You're beautiful," he whispered and comes to me.

His hand brushes my hair back to behind of my back. My cheeks blushed and then I see the ring hanging round his neck. I reach to it and pull it out from his neck. He laughs when the chain breaks and then he smiles to me in a way that melted my heart. "Y-you just don't need it anymore," I whispered.

Jack leans closer and nibbled my ear while whispering, "You will get your ring. My mother's old diamond ring once we're back in Burgess." He starts to kiss my neck and going down towards my collarbone, sometimes blowing warm air.

I rest my head against his and breathe in the smell that's cooling and fresh at the same time. "Is it okay?" he whispers and I feel his hand reaching to my dresses zipper. I nodded my head and he opens up my dress a little. Then he exposes my shoulder which he kisses and I moaned slightly.

Jack chuckled. "W-what?" I muttered. "Nothing, you're just sweet," he whispered and then I place a kiss on his neck. He shivered. "Then you're sweet too," I whispered warmly back.

POV Jack

My head is killing me is the feeling that I got while I was slowly waking up. Then I realized that I wasn't alone, my hand was on something or to be precise, over someone. I blinked my eyes open and then I knew what smelled sweet and felt so nice and warm.

It was Elsa, she's laying next to me and it made me really happy. My eyes teared up and I placed my head next to hers on the pillow. Then I realized that I had no memory of what had happened after I had explained the things to her.

The heart rate of mine was increasing when I lifted the blanket. Okay, I'm just wearing pants and her.. phew, she has a dress on her. I didn't touch her, what a relief.

When I was about to stand up she took my hand. "Let's stay for a while," her whisper was gentle. I went back to bed and she pulled my hand on her chest. Her back was against my chest while we rested. "So what happened?" I asked curiously.

"I just remember that you told me what was going on and we made up. Now we're here and it's all that matters," her voice sounded dreamy and I closed my eyes. "I should really go, the police might be trying to find me," I whispered.

"Just few more minutes," she whispered and squeezed my hand tightly. "We should find a way to communicate," she said and I nodded my head. "To find a solution to this problem," she said quietly. "Yeah," I agreed.

We stayed silent for a while before she squealed from excitement, "how about your art!" I opened up my eyes. "Yeah?" I questioned.

"You could write to one of your paintings with invisible ink and I could respond," she said and turned around. Her cheeks were picking up a small shade of pink as she noticed my body half naked. "Yup. That sounds great," I grinned and petted her cheek. "I will write to you tomorrow," I told her and kissed her forehead. "And I will come to read and respond at noon every day," she whispered and cupped my cheeks, kissing me gently.

Then I smiled to her sadly and stood up. Her eyes were sad and full of missing me already. "I just need to catch the bad guys and police will leave me alone Els," I said while I pulled my hoodie on me. Elsa stood up and came to hug me before I left. We would travel back to Burgess separately.

After the bus drive I was walking towards home. The drive way had some dust lifting up from it's surface when the wind was blowing gently. The scent of fresh just cut grass was catching up to my nose and I knew that one of my yard workers had just done the lawn work.

I sighed and stuffed my hands inside my hoodie's pocket. Then I felt something and I pulled out a crumbled piece of paper. I stood still as I opened it up.

I read the text on it and the title caused me to gasp for air. "C-contract of marriage?" I stuttered as I read it aloud. My heart was beating fast and then I noticed something on my left hand. I lifted it up in front of my face and I watch at the braided looking thing around my ring finger.

"No we didn't? Did we?" I said in misbelieve and then I realize that it is Elsa's hair. I look at the paper again and it's shaking in my shivering hands. It's signed by me and her. We're married. She is married to me.

I felt a bit unease while walking back to my mansion. Should I share the news to her? How would I do that? She doesn't remember what happened. Heck, even I don't remember. I ruffled my hair nervously. Should I tell her or not? I mean nothing else seems to have happened. I hope. I didn't take an advantage of her while we were wasted, I think. Anyway I don't remember that being hangover felt this bad ever before.

I groaned as I realized that I cannot tell her. Maybe one day but through messaging through my art work. No way, she needs to hear it from me face to face next time that I see her. I sighed, how things can go this wrong all the time.

"HEY!" I heard a yell from the door and I see Hiccup leaning on the front door of my mansion. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!" I shouted and stuffed the paper to my pocket as he was walking towards me. "You asshole! Keeping secrets huh? I HEARD A RUMOR!" He shouted and paced forward.

I tried to hush him but he didn't listen. We might be observed. "SHUT UP!" I yelled but he kept on demending to know everything. I groaned and then hit him to his chest with my fist. He gasped from surprise but then he came at me. He pushed me to ground where we were now both.

He wrestled with me for a while. Then I stood up and felt angry, "OKAY! So come and get me!" Hiccup is glaring at me on the ground and tries to get up but he can't. I laughed, "So what's wrong? Too scared!" I grinned but then I stopped.

Hiccup sat on the ground and was attaching his leg back. Yes you heard me, attaching his leg. "What?" I gulped and then he glared at me. "I lost my leg as a kid Jack, that's what happened," he sighed and stood up. My jaw is hanging open. "This doesn't change anything. Now, I need to know everything to help you out.. friend," he sighed and the last word he was almost like tasting in his mouth.

I looked around me and it seemed safe, "Okay but let's go to your place." I said quickly and he nodded his head. Hiccup went to get his car. I started to explain things to him while we were driving to his home.
