Ashwin said in a whining voice to his mother who was busy working in the kitchen. Lakshmi was adamant about her decision which made him helpless.

Lak : Nee enna sonnaalum seri...... un engagement kku aprom mattum nee Hyderabad kku pona podhum.... Athu un sir kitta poyi sollu.... po....

Ak : Ma... en chella amma la... en thangam la...

Lak : Podhum un ice.... Nee enna sonnaalum seri ithukku na othukkamaate Ashwin.....

Ashwin sighed hard and their conversation broke when they heard the calling bell. Before lakshmi could move, Ashwin rushed to open the door. It was Tasha's parents. He greeted them with a humble smile.

Sud : Epdi irukeenga maaplai.....

Ak : Nallarkken uncle... ulla vaanga... aunty vaanga.....

They settled in the hall and Lakshmi had a suprising smile seeing them unexpectedly.

Lak : Ada.... Neengala.... Enna surprise ah vanthirukeenga......

Kala : Maaplai dha engala kooptadhu... Edho mukhiyamana vishayam pesanum nu sonnaanga....

Lakshmi threw a glare towards her son understanding what he is up to while Ashwin hung his head in response.

Sud : Enna maaplai silent ah nikkureenga....? Neenga dhana pesanum nu sonneenga...... pesunga....

Ashwin let out a deep breathe before explaining them.

Ak : Uncle na solla pora vishayam neenga epdi eduthukaporenu theriyala but I should say this..... Enakku next month oru case vishayama hyderabad varaikkum poganum..... So, ungala mudinja intha engagement konjam pospond panni enna help panna mudiyuma....?

Their faces changed at his words. It was their dream and need to make happen their daughter's wedding preparations soon. Ashwin had a nervousness in his face as he knew there is only less chance for their approval.

The hall went pin drop silent. Sudhakar and Kala saw eachother without knowing what to do while Lakshmi shook his head at her son's atrocities.

Ak : Plz uncle, ungalkku na promise pandren, hyderabad poitu vanthathum, enakkum tasha kkum engagement vechukalaam... athukaprom kalyanam.....

Ashwin curiously saw his soon to be father-in-law who was lowering his head.

Sud : Seri maaplai, unga ishtapadi elaam nadakattum......

His reply made Ashwin smile wide.

Kala : Aana Tasha...

Ak : Tasha kitta na pesuren Aunty.....

Ashwin thanked Tasha's parents whole heartedly. After having half an hour of conversation, they left while Ashwin made a call to Tasha to make her convince.

Sivaangi yawned hard sitting in her class as she felt really bored by the subject going on.

Sk : Aiyo... oru mannangattiyum puriyamaatingudhe.....

She whined and layed on the desk before yawning again.

"Hey enaachu"

A voice broke her moment. She lifted her head to see a smiling figure infront of her. She reciprocated the smile before sitting straight.

"Mathumitha"

Sk : Sivaangi....

Mathu : Enaachu, en ipdi tension aagureenga....?

Sk : Illa mathu enakku onnume puriyala.... athaan enna pandrathune theriyama ukaanthitrikken......

Mathu : Its ok sivu... athelaam poga poga seri aaidum.... illana seri pannidlaam..... ok va...?

Sivaangi chuckled as she found her own vibe from Mathumitha. The class continued but sivaangi and mathu got engrossed in deep conversations and funny chats.

She was recovering slowly from the pain and hurt she recieved few days back. The positive people and nature around her was enough to make her heal completely.

A month passed in a swift. Sivaangi created a strong bond among her classmate Mathumitha and neighbour Vishal. They both had become a part of her life within a month. In between these things, she called her parents and friends daily to know the whereabouts.

She learned cooking by watching some youtube videos and sometimes Vishal would help her to learn some basics of cooking. Overall she came back in her style with her new power and muscle.

It was Sunday morning, Sivaangi was cooking Mushroom biriyani in her kitchen playing songs on her airpods.

Vishal who pressed the calling bell for the nth time got confused when he didn't get any response from the otherside.

He opened the door which was already unlocked and moved inside to see the sight of Sivaangi who was dancing in between sauteing her dish. Vishal chuckled placing his hands on either side of his waist before moving towards her.

Vis : Oii,

Vishal removed her airpod jerking her.

Sk : Eii neeya... na bayanthuten.....

She let out a relaxed breathe placing her hand on her chest.

Vis : Hey loosu, entha ulagathula irukken ne... yevanavadhu vanthu edhaahdu thiruditu pona kooda madam ipdiye paatu ketu enjoy pannitu irupeengala......

Sk : I was just chilling da...... Neeyum ketu paaru.... verithanamana paatu....

She plugged an airpod to his one ear and danced making him chuckle.

Vis : Unna.... (chuckling)

Sk : Hey inaikku namma onna lunch saapdlaam, athum ennoda special mushroom biriyani... ok!

Vis : Saapta, naalaiku uyiroda irukkuma....?(he asked supressing his smile)

Sk : Edheyyy.. poda..

She beat his chest playfully and he laughed out loud. He also helped her to complete the dish. They danced and cooked together with a chilling vibe. In between, her atrocities made Vishal to admire.

Sk : Dei taste panni, epdi irukku nu sollu da....

Vis : En uyir kku edhum aabathu illaye....

Sk : Itha paaru Vishal nee enna romba kalaaikure....

Vis : Ok ok sry..... kudu.....

He took a bite and his expression changed into a blank one making her totally disappoint.

Sk : Kandraavi ah irukka??

She asked in a sad tone and his face had a bright smile.

Vis : Vera level ah irukku....

She gasped in surprise and nodded asking him whether it is true.

Vis : Aama di, neeye taste panni paaru.....

He fed a bite and she jumped in happiness as her dish became a success one.

Sk : Appo ok! Inime nan dha chef Sivaangi....

Vis : Apdiya, appo naanga elaam out ah....

Sk : Nee ennoda junior ok va.... (in gethu tone)

Vis : Ennadhu... Adinga.....

They giggled in unison. Sivaangi arranged the table with the specials and asked him to join. As they were about to seated, the calling bell disturbed them. They saw eachother confused.

Sk : Iru na poyi paakure....

Sivaangi opened the door and found a middle aged man standing there gazing at her doubtfully.

"Yaaru?"

Sk : Hlo, Athu na kekavendiya kelvi..... yaaru neenga....

"Neenga enna intha veetla pannitirukeenga..."

Sk : Ennathu en veetla vanthu ennaye question pandriye.... yaaru ya nee....

She asked in her usual gethu tone.

"En nga ithu Aiyya kaaga ready panna rent house...."

Sk : For your kind information inga 1 maasam ah nan dha stay pannitirukku..... so time waste pannama kelambunga.....

"Athepdi nga mudiyum, enga kitta irunthu kaas vaangitu ippo veedu illanu sonna, athu enna nyayam....."

Sk : Athu kaas vaanguna aal kitta poyi sollunga ponga....

"Aii unmaya sollu, neenga inga thiruttu thanama dhana irukku...."

Sk : Heyy neenga romba over ah pesureenga.... ithu nan kaas kuduthu rent kku edutha veedu.....

"Enga Aiyya vum kaas kuduthu dha intha veedu eduthom...."

Sk : Shobba! Unga Aiyya kitta vera veeda paaka sollunga ponga....

"Oye unna-"

"Enna ya inga prechana...."

Another voice broke their conversation. Sivaangi's eyes wide in shock when she noticed the owner of the voice. Her eyes had tears and she just stood rooted on the ground in numb.

"Ashwin"

She whispered herself!
